My Own Worst Enemy Epilogue

A Month and a Half Later:

“My beautiful girl come here!!”Irina exclaimed as she rushed to Bella and pulled her into a hug. Rosalie held back an eye roll at the sight. She and Bella had spent the last month and half in Norway secluded from the rest of the world other than the random check ins Bella did with her mothers and the queens. Rosalie had wanted to spend more time alone with her mate but Bella’s mothers had declared they had been gone long enough and they were going to visit. It didn’t matter if Rosalie and Bella wanted them to or not. Which neither of them did. Bella had put them off as long as she could and finally agreed because if she didn’t they would have shown up unannounced and both Rosalie and Bella would rather know when they were coming. That way they weren’t interrupted doing things no parent should see their child doing.

“Hi mom.”Bella greeted her mother retuning the hug.

“How has your vacation been?”Tanya asked Rosalie.

“It’s been nice to be away from everyone after all that’s happened.”The time they spent together may have been short but Rosalie was happy they had a chance to regroup after all the drama that was the result of her and Bella’s reunion.

“I’m glad we got to deal with the Cullens but sad that we weren’t able to draw out Carlisle, Edward and Esme’s deaths.”Kate had wished she had years to draw out their pain.

“I personally couldn’t have asked for a better way for the trio to die.”Bella said pulling out of the hug with Irina and giving Tanya one.

Tanya kissed Bella on the head feeling herself relax after not seeing her child for so long. It was the longest Bella had been away from them and she wasn’t planning on allowing it to happen again.”I agree. The three were shells of themselves before they died.”

“Especially Esme.”Irina couldn’t have planned a better outcome for Esme’s death.

“Any word on the other three?”Bella asked.

Tanya released Bella from the hug.”The queens said that they have been ignored other than when given blood.”

“I honestly think that they have done enough to just do their time without any beatings.”Kate said giving Bella her own hug.

“I doubt the guard will agree with you. They will likely want to test out Jasper and Alice’s skill with their gifts.”Bella predicted the guard would use the mated couple for learning opportunities.

“The pair would be good training partners.”Kate agreed as she kissed Bella’s forehead and let her go.

Rosalie wasted no time wrapping her arm around Bella’s shoulders and snuggling her close.”I think that Jasper might enjoy the chance to learn from the guard as well.”

“It will definitely help the time pass.”Irina said.

“Other than the Cullens how is everything?”Bella hadn’t talked to her mothers other than sending them texts informing them she was alive.

“We have completed the addition to the house to include a detached garage for Rosalie.”Tanya told her.

“You built me a garage?”Rosalie was very surprised to hear that.

“It’s just an empty building now because we thought you would appreciate the chance to set it up the way you wanted. You won’t be moving around like you did with Carlisle so we wanted it to be perfect.”Irina and her mates were hoping that if they offered Rosalie places to do her hobbies that the blond vampire would like Alaska more than the castle. Then Rosalie could convince Bella to spent more time with her mothers.

“This will also give Bella a chance to spend some of her savings on something other than equipment she needs for her projects.”Kate always encouraged Bella to spend her vast fortune on fun stuff but Bella wasn’t interested in more than what she needed for her inventions and research.

“I have no problem helping Bella spend her money.”Rosalie and Bella had a conversation about their wealth and after learning how much Bella was worth and how much she made off her many patents Rosalie had no reservations to using Bella’s fortune to fund her lifestyle. A lifestyle that was going to be filled with all the luxuries Carlisle never let her have because he controlled all the coven’s spending.

“And I have no problem allowing it.”Bella would be happy to give Rosalie anything she desired. Even if it was just an idea Bella had to invent she would do it for Rosalie.

“I do need to collect my personal belongings.”Rosalie had things she didn’t want to leave behind at the Cullen’s many properties.

“We have spoken to the queens about what to do with the Cullen’s assets and decided that we would leave it up to you on how you want to distribute everything.”Tanya said.

“My initial thought was to take everything but I think it’s only fair that Emmett, Alice and Jasper get something.”Rosalie didn’t really want her siblings to suffer to much once they were released.

“I think you so should take everything for yourself. I mean those three were part of the reason you were kept away from Bella.”If Kate was in Rosalie’s position she wouldn’t even let the trio keep whatever personal belongings they had.

“The only reason I am giving them anything is because other than the Bella situation they had been good siblings and supported me over the years. Well to the best of their ability with Carlisle and Edward in charge.”Rosalie told her.

“Still they facilitated a false mate bond and didn’t tell Bella about it.”Irina wouldn’t be so kind if it happened to her.

“I know that’s why I am still going to take the majority and only give them enough to get by for a few years.”Rosalie was still going to hold them accountable she just didn’t think it was fair to leave them destitute.

“Whatever you decide to do I will support you and help you anyway I can.”Bella didn’t care what Rosalie gave to her former siblings. She would go along with it as long as it made Rosalie happy.

“Part of the remodel we did was to the house giving you and Bella a group of rooms like myself and my mates have and Eleazar and Carmen have. That will give you plenty of space to put your things.”Tanya and the rest of the family wanted to do the remodel when Bella came to live with them but Bella claimed that she didn’t need the space. That and they had built her a workshop of her own that Bella spent most of her time in.

“Thank you.”Rosalie was touched that the Denali went out of their way to make her comfortable.

“I tried to get them to add on an arcade but I was told no.”Kate was frustrated that her mates wouldn’t let her build one.

“You don’t need an arcade.”Irina didn’t allow it because Kate would go overboard and they would end up with a large warehouse to house all the games. Plus they would have to cut down trees to make room and they avoided doing that at all cost. Rosalie’s garage being an exception because they needed the building to entice Rosalie to stay in Alaska.

“Once I’m done with the virtual reality technology you will be so busy playing with that you won’t have time for arcade games.”Bella told Kate.

“I have enjoyed the test runs we have done so far.”Kate always volunteered to help Bella out when she needed to test something. Like when she was creating the synthetic blood Kate had been a taste tester. Kate enjoyed helping because it gave her a way to bond with her daughter and she got to be involved in groundbreaking projects.

“What are you working on at the castle?”Tanya wanted to know if Bella was working on something that couldn’t be moved like with the virtual reality console and wasn’t time sensitive. If it was it would keep Bella at the castle longer than her mothers would like.

“The contacts and I’m trying to figure out a way for us to not sparkle in the sun.”Bella told her.

“Do you think you can actually succeed?”Rosalie would love to be able to go out in the sun without having to worry about being exposed.

Bella nodded.”I’m close. The problem I’m having with it is that the cream I invented rubs off easily. I’m trying to figure out how to make it stay on without it leaving an adhesive film on our skin.”

“That would be a problem.”Irina wished she was more versed in such things but most of what Bella talked about went over her head. Her daughter was a lot smarter than her mothers and Irina couldn’t be prouder. Even if she had to admit she didn’t understand things.

“Is it something you can bring home with you when it’s our time with you?”Tanya asked getting back on track.

Bella easily caught on to Tanya’s concern.”I can’t. However it can be left without having to be monitored. So I can leave it when it’s time come home.”

“Good.”Tanya was very relieved to hear that.

“Speaking of going home. The queens and us have agreed that you will spend two weeks with them then you will come home. While you are there I want Rosalie to work out how to deal with the Cullen’s assets. That way when you come to Alaska we can deal with everything. We want to be able to get everything settled so we can spend time with you both.”Irina said.

“The queens will probably want us to spend time with them the first couple days we are there but after that we can figure everything out.”Bella knew that the queens would monopolize her time as soon as she got there as was tradition. They would make her spend all her time at the castle with them if they didn’t have royal duties to attend to.”I will also ask them if we can use the jet to get Rosalie’s stuff because I’m sure it isn’t just in one place.”

“It’s not. It’s all over the world.”Rosalie had things in each of the Cullen’s homes and depending on which ones she wanted her siblings to have would depend on what she would take from them. If she kept them she wouldn’t bother as they would become vacation homes for her and Bella.

“Well it seems like we have a plan. Now let’s go inside and watch a movie.”Tanya wanted a chance to snuggle with her daughter. She had missed Bella terribly while she was gone.

“I get to pick.”Kate said.

“You always get to pick.”Bella never got to pick when Kate was involved.

“No I don’t.”Kate denied.

“When was the last time we watched a movie someone else wanted to?”Bella asked.

Kate couldn’t think of a time.”It’s not my fault I pick out such good movies.”

“I’m picking.”Bella untangled herself from Rosalie and rushed into the house.

“Don’t you dare touch that remote young lady!!”Kate called out as she raced after her.

Irina chuckled as she watched the pair.”It’s good to have Bella back.”

“Yes it is my love.”Tanya agreed.”Come on Rosalie. We will need you help to break up the fight between the two.”

“Alright.”Rosalie wasn’t looking forward to being involved in any fight Kate was a part of. Especially if it involved Bella. Kate was known for being outrageous and Rosalie doubted she would hold back just because the fight was with her daughter. Shaking her head at the silliness of the situation Rosalie followed the group into the house. At least she knew that life would never be boring with Bella as a mate. It was proven already with the events that led to Carlisle, Esme and Edward dying and dealing with Bella’s mothers and the queens. Bella’s mothers and the queens being something that Rosalie wasn’t sure how to deal with. Bella had promised that she would speak up if they made Rosalie uncomfortable. That being something Rosalie predicted would happen often. It didn’t matter though. Rosalie was finally with Bella and nothing would be able to come between them again. Not only would Rosalie and Bella never let it happen but the Denali, the queens and the Volturi guard wouldn’t either. With all those powerful vampires backing them Rosalie and Bella’s future couldn’t look any brighter.
