“This was so much easier when Isabella was here to heal our injuries.”Emmett complained as he held his arm to his shoulder to reattach it after Kate had ripped it off. Rosalie along with the rest of the Denali and her brothers and sisters were training on Kate’s course. Rosalie herself hadn’t been doing to well and had to have Isabella heal her numerous times. She wasn’t proud of her poor showing but the only training that she got was the little Jasper gave her when Carlisle wasn’t around to stop them. The coven leader was a big believer that fighting was a fast way to lose your humanity and forbid his coven from doing it. Jasper was adamant that they need to know how to protect themselves and worked with them when he could.

“Where did she go anyway?”Alice asked.

“She went to steal some blood bags for us.”Rosalie didn’t like the fact that Isabella went by herself but knew that the goddess would be able to protect herself.

“Wait Isabella is going to steal?”Edith didn’t think that Isabella would do something like that.

“She volunteered because she is the only one who can travel long distances quickly and won’t get caught.”Rosalie told her.

“Still I’m surprised a goddess would be willing to steal.”Edith said.

“Yeah isn’t that like a sin or something?”Emmett didn’t think a goddess would commit a crime.

Rosalie rolled her eyes.”She isn’t a Christian god and doesn’t follow the Ten Commandments.”

“That may be true but still how is she ok with stealing?”Alice knew that Isabella wasn’t a christian god but had thought that she had certain rules she followed.

“Compared to the many acts she judges people for, stealing is a very minor offense I assure you.”Rosalie was positive that Isabella didn’t punish humans to harshly if they stole something.

“It’s hard to imagine that it’s up to Isabella to decide what kind of treatment our souls get once we die.”Emmett still was having trouble wrapping his head around reincarnation being real.

“Yeah she is so normal. If we had met her randomly I would have never believed she was a goddess.”If Alice hadn’t seen proof of Isabella being so powerful she never would have thought she was a goddess.

Rosalie was happy she couldn’t blush because her mind immediately went to having sex with Isabella. The woman was a very talented lover and proved many times over that she was celestial being. The things she did with her tongue alone made Rosalie a believer. After first time Isabella had used her magic to enhance the experience Rosalie had begun planning the large shrine she was going to build in Isabella’s honor.”She is very much a goddess.”

“What kind of powers does she have?”Emmett asked.

“I don’t know but she did say that she wouldn’t train with us because none of us could match her skill.”Rosalie had been interested in seeing Isabella fight. She wanted to see her mate’s skill with her own eyes. It would make her feel a lot better knowing that Isabella could take care of herself. Not that Rosalie doubted Isabella was a good fighter she just worried.

“How does she feel about possibly having to kill some of her own creations?”Edith wondered how Isabella would react to having to kill anyone.

“Vampires aren’t her creations.”Rosalie told her.

“What do you mean vampires aren’t her creations? She’s the goddess of life. She told us she is responsible for bringing all new life into existence.”Alice had figured that meant that Isabella created vampires as well.

“After humans were created Isabella decided they were too much like gods to exist without a natural predator to keep them in line. Her sister Nyx created vampires to be that predator. Nyx also had a part in creating children of the moon as she and her other sister Artemis created them together to keep vampires in line.”Rosalie explained.

“Who is Nyx?”Emmett knew of the goddess of the hunt but not Nyx.

“Nyx is the goddess of night and from what Isabella told me is very feared by the other gods and goddesses. She is also the one that Isabella got the liquid to make it so mine and Tanya’s skin doesn’t sparkle in the sun from.”Rosalie wasn’t sure if she wanted to meet the goddess based on her reputation but Isabella had told her that Nyx was her favorite sister. That being the case Rosalie was willing to give her a chance.”Isabella and her are very close.”

“It would make sense that the goddess of night created vampires.”Edith said.

“Now I get why Isabella said that she would step in if things got out of hand.”Alice had just thought that Nyx was someone who owed Isabella a favor.

“Yes she would but we really don’t want it to get to that point because if she does show up then she isn’t going to be very nice to any of us.”Rosalie told them.

“Why wouldn’t she be nice to us?”Emmett asked.

“Even though it isn’t our fault we are still involved in creating a bunch of chaos and unbalance on earth by being involved in this fight with Carlisle and the Volturi when they find out about everything. Isabella told me that Nyx hates to have to leave her realm and she especially hates when she has to discipline anyone. So while I think that having Isabella vouch for us will give us some favor with Nyx I’m not going to count on it.”Rosalie fully expected that she and Tanya would be alright but didn’t know about the rest of their family. She worried that Nyx would get irritated with everything and kill everyone off.

“Isabella will protect us though right?”Alice figured that Isabella would stop her sister from killing them.

“Isabella isn’t allowed to interfere because vampires are not her domain. She had to get permission from her sister to even be able to stand by our side and fight other vampires.”Rosalie knew that Isabella was not happy about having to be at her sister’s mercy when it came to her and Tanya’s safety but was going to follow the rules so none of the titans would have to step in.

“What if she didn’t get her permission?”Edith didn’t think anything really bad could happen to a goddess.

“If Isabella acted without Nyx’s blessing it would be a declaration of war on Isabella’s part. If a war actually happened the titans would get involved and Isabella as the instigator would be punished severely.”Rosalie didn’t want that to happen after hearing from Isabella what kind of punishments the titans gave guilty parties.

“Shit.”Emmett didn’t think he would want to get punished by a titan.

“Yeah shit.”Rosalie agreed.

“It’s a good thing that Isabella is following the rules then.”Alice said.

“What are you guys talking about?”Tanya asked as she walked over to the group after her turn training was over.

Rosalie happily returned the kiss Tanya gave her.”We were talking about what would happen if Isabella acted against Carlisle and the Volturi without Nyx’s permission.”

“Nothing good. Just thinking about it makes me even more angry at Edward and Carlisle for putting us in this situation.”Tanya was going to make sure the pair knew just how angry she was when she finally got her hands on them.

“They are such bastards.”Edith had wished that she and Emmett had been smart enough to ask for an invitation to join the Denali a long time ago.

“I can’t wait to see how they react when they find out the Irish coven defected.”Emmett figured whatever was going to happen it wouldn’t be good.

“They are going to be pissed. Especially when they find out they came to join us.”Rosalie predicted that the pair were going to throw quite the tantrums once they figured everything out.

“How would they figure that out though?”Alice asked.

“Anyone would instantly come to the conclusion that they searched out allies after being exposed to Carlisle’s little army. That and they wouldn’t think that they went to the kings because of their known hatred of them.”Tanya said.

“With us being the biggest coven next to the Volturi it would be obvious that they come here.”Rosalie added.

“That is true isn’t it? We are the biggest coven after the Volturi.”Emmett hadn’t really thought about how big the coven was now that they joined the Denali.

“And with Isabella and the many favors she is owed by other gods and goddesses we are the most powerful.”Rosalie knew if Isabella really wanted to she could call in a favor and have the royals, all the guard and every one of their allies killed.

“She said she has a lot of favors saved up.”Tanya’s only worry about Isabella cashing in a favor was she didn’t think it would be a good idea to involve another god or goddess in their conflict. Who knew what kind of chaos and damage they would cause.

“If we really wanted to we could kill the kings and take the thrones for ourselves couldn’t we?”Edith could easily see them taking the thrones if they wanted to.

“We could but would any of you want to live in the castle for the rest of eternity?”Tanya definitely did not.

“I’m not raising our children in the castle.”Rosalie didn’t want her daughters involved in vampire politics. As matter of fact she didn’t want her daughters involved with any vampires other than her family.

“That would not be a good place to grow up.”Alice didn’t think a child would be able to thrive being brought up in the castle.

“Speaking of your children, Isabella said they would be demigods. Does that mean they will have godly duties like Isabella does?”Emmet asked.

“Isabella told us that they will have powers that will align with hers but as for duties unless she specifically assigns them some they won’t be held to the same standards as one of the titan’s children.”Rosalie was very happy about that. She didn’t want her children to be called away as much as she knew Isabella was going to be.

“Will they be as powerful as Isabella?”Alice didn’t think they would be if they were half human.

“No none of the children of the gods and goddesses are as strong as their parents. Unlike their parents they can not only get sick but they can be killed.”Something Tanya was going to do everything in her power to prevent.

“Demigods can be killed?”Edith was very surprised to hear that.

”From the way Isabella explained it is that titans are the most powerful beings in existence. They are really what we would consider a god to be. Their children are gods and goddesses like Isabella and her siblings. Their powers are lesser than those of a titan. Then there are their children. They have only a fraction of their parent’s power even if they have two parents that are both gods. They are also like Tanya said able to get ill or even die. Where as gods and Titans don’t die.”Rosalie explained.

“Your kids will be able to die even though one of their mothers is a goddess?”Emmett didn’t think that was possible.

“It’s just like us, we may be immortal but we can be killed.”Tanya didn’t like thinking about dying now that she had her mates and their children but it was a possibility. One she was going to do everything in her power to prevent and knew that her mates were as well.

“It’s a good thing we have Isabella around to heal us if we get into trouble then.”Alice said.

“That actually brings up a point. Do think that Isabella can help regenerate body parts?”Rosalie figured if Isabella could heal injuries then she could replace body parts.

Tanya’s first instinct was to say no but it would make sense if she could.”You know I don’t know. She told us she can heal wounds and cure sickness. We should have asked her what she did to help that man for Aphrodite.”

“She helped a man for the goddess of love?”Edith asked.

“Aphrodite came to her to ask her to help a couple that wanted to have children but couldn’t because the man was injured in a way that prevented him from getting anyone pregnant. Isabella healed him and afterwards they were able to conceive.”Tanya told her.

“That was really nice of her.”Alice liked that Isabella helped individual humans instead of letting them fend for themselves.

“It was a favor for Aphrodite but Isabella said that she would have helped them anyway as the couple were deserving of having a child.”Thinking of Isabella helping a human made Rosalie wonder how Isabella assigned each soul to their next life and if it would be up to her to pick which souls their children would get.

“Are any of the other gods or demigods going to come for a friendly visit or are the only way for us to meet them is if we piss them off?”Emmett would like to see what other gods were like.

“I know that Isabella was going to call in a favor to have Artemis come and visit Kate but other than I’m not sure. It will be up to Isabella is she allows them to and I don’t know if she will.”Tanya didn’t think Isabella would want other gods to visit earth after kicking them out but she did make exceptions sometimes so Tanya didn’t really know.

“Oh man Kate would love that.”Alice could already imagine how excited Kate would be if Artemis visited her.

“Isabella thought Artemis would be able to help her get Kate to like her.”Rosalie wasn’t sure it would work but it was a good idea.

“I don’t think anything will get Kate to stop thinking Isabella is out to get her.”Edith was sure a titan themselves could convince Kate that Isabella wasn’t going to kill her.

“I still don’t get why she thinks that. She attacked Isabella first. All Isabella did was defend herself and she didn’t even hurt Kate when it was very obvious that she could have easily.”Emmett said.

“Not only that but Kate is afraid Isabella is trying to get her alone to torture her. Even though Isabella had the perfect opportunity the first time she met. I don’t understand why Kate thinks that Isabella would have gone to the trouble to subdue her when they were in an isolated part of the forest instead of torturing and killing her then. It’s not logical at all for Isabella to let her go.”Edith thought the fact that Isabella didn’t hurt Kate would be more than enough proof that she wasn’t going to in the future.

“Kate isn’t known to follow logic. I personally believe that Kate is so scared of Isabella because she was able to subdue Kate without even touching her. It was the first time since Kate has been turned that she was outmatched and even Kate’s gift didn’t help her. In the back of her mind I’m sure that Kate knows that Isabella won’t hurt her. It’s just the fact that Kate has met someone who could kill her that has her so afraid.”Tanya knew what Kate was really afraid of was being weak.

“Kate really hasn’t had anyone that could beat her in a fight has she?”Rosalie tried to think of anytime she was told about Kate being bested by an enemy.

“In her human life the only time she was beaten was by myself and Sasha. Even when she knew that she was going to die she fought both us never giving up. This is literally the first time that fighting won’t help her.”Tanya didn’t think Kate had ever felt that vulnerable.

“After over a thousand years of being the top dog to realize that you are not has got to be hard.”Emmett didn’t think Kate who’s whole identity was being a warrior liked learning that her skills weren’t good enough when it came down to it.

“That’s why Isabella hopes that Artemis speaking to Kate and promising to keep Isabella in line will help Kate relax around her. Both Rosalie and myself hope as well because we don’t want Kate to miss out on important moments in our daughters’ lives. Something that would happen if Kate avoided Isabella.”Tanya wanted her whole family to be involved with her children’s lives and that wouldn’t happen unless Kate got over her fear of Isabella.

“She is really excited to be an aunt. She mentioned something about getting custom training swords made for them.”Alice said.

”Of course she did.”Rosalie wasn’t sure how comfortable she was letting her daughters learn combat but would discuss it with Tanya and Isabella before vetoing the idea.

“Rosalie you’re up!”Kate called out.

“Speaking of Kate and violence.”Rosalie gave Tanya a hug and a chaste kiss.

“Good luck and try not to lose a limb. At least until Isabella comes back.”Tanya told her.

“We will see.”Rosalie wasn’t going to make any promises because it was almost guaranteed that she was going to be hurt some way. It would be nice if Isabella came back to not only be there to help Rosalie out if she did get hurt but so that Rosalie could see her mate again. In the future Isabella wouldn’t always be with them as she had duties she couldn’t get out of and Rosalie wanted to spend all the time they could together. It was her and Tanya’s hope that once things calmed down they would be able to go to Isabella’s realm with her so they wouldn’t be separated but until the threats against the family were dealt with it that wouldn’t be possible. It would be to dangerous to leave the family without out two fighters. Especially Tanya as she was one of the best ones in the group. With only Jasper and Kate being better. That didn’t mean the others weren’t improving. Rosalie herself had lasted two minutes longer against Jasper than she had last time he fought her. That being a huge improvement and something Rosalie was extremely proud of. So proud that she had plans on celebrating that achievement later with her mates. That celebration would be happening in their bed without any clothes on. It was just to bad that neither she or Tanya could bite Isabella. Having sex with a human body was a lot of fun especially because Isabella had no restrictions with her magic on humans whereas with vampires she was limited with what she could do. Rosalie shook her head to clear the many lusty thoughts. She needed to focus if she wanted to learn to protect herself and her family. That being something she would fight to the death to do. She just hoped that when the fighting did happen that the only death would be on the enemy’s side.
