“How are you enjoying the Denali’s visit?”Jane asked Bella who was laying on the couch in their private living room with her head in Jane’s lap while Jane was running her fingers through what was left of Bella’s hair and lightly scratching her scalp. The pair along with Rosalie and the Denali sisters had spend the last few hours in the arcade with Bella and Kate playing various games. The time came to an end when Bella got overstimulated and needed a break from the excitement. She had asked Jane to spend time with her because she had expressed missing her and Jane was all too happy to comply. She too missed having alone time to just check in with each other and be together without anyone watching them.

Bella reached out to grabbed Jane’s hand and intertwined their fingers together causing Jane to see Bella’s interactions with the sisters and her feelings during them. Jane focused on how Bella’s emotions fluctuated during the time she spent with them but was pleased that Bella’s emotions were mostly positive. Seeing Bella’s thoughts on Kate beating Athenodora’s high score on the stand up game made Jane laugh.

“You’re right she would be not only be pissed that her score was beaten but pissed she couldn’t hurt Kate because she is your friend.”Jane agreed.”What else do you have planned for the Denali?”

Jane was suddenly hit with a bunch of flashes of different imagines that she couldn’t quite make out. It was an obvious Bella was excited and had many things she wanted to do with them but Jane couldn’t see exactly what.

”Slow down I didn’t catch any of that.”Jane booped Bella where her nose was suppose to be with a finger when she felt her huff.”I know you are excited but us mere mortals have a hard time keeping up with your goddess powers.”

Bella rolled her eyes and took a deep breath. This time the images came slower and Jane could see everything. Some of the things Bella had planned she hadn’t been told about and a few Jane knew that she was not going to allow to happen. She definitely knew that Didyme would veto them if Jane didn’t.

“You honestly think that we are going to let you turn the training room into a dirt track complete with obstacles so you can race motorbikes with Kate?”It was Jane who rolled her eyes this time when Bella nodded.”Yeah that’s not happening and I doubt that the royals will agree to let you demolish part of the forest behind the castle to build a track out there so don’t even think about it.”

Jane smiled at the mental grumbling Bella did at being told no. She was going to talk to Didyme about it before Bella ambushed her so the queen would be prepared. If not Bella would come to her with some sob story and trick the royal into agreeing. Bella wasn’t afraid to use her mother’s love for her to manipulate Didyme into doing things for her or giving her things. Especially after an episode or when Bella was under a lot of stress.

“How are things going with Rosalie?”Jane asked.

Bella smiled at her and sent Jane a bunch of images of Rosalie and Bella spending time together including when they had sex. Jane wasn’t jealous or upset with the images. She was actually happy that Rosalie was Bella’s other mate because Jane had realized that Bella had been pining for Rosalie ever since the Cullens left her behind. When she was changed Bella’s feelings for Rosalie were intensified and Bella had felt like a piece of her was missing. Jane noticed that after they were reunited that Bella was a lot more relaxed. Well as relaxed in Bella’s own way. The dangerous vampire was always high strung and ready to attack but Jane had witnessed Bella let things go that would usually trigger her to the point that she would resort to violence or go lock herself in her room. It was obvious that Rosalie was influencing Bella and Jane couldn’t be happier about it.

“You want me to help you get a ring?”Jane was surprised that Bella was already thinking about marriage. Usually Bella didn’t like big events and when she and Jane married they only had Bella’s parents, her brother Alec and the mister as witnesses. Not Jane minded as she to hated being the center of attention but she had come to realize that Rosalie wouldn’t be the kind of person who would settle for something so small. Listen to Bella’s thought Jane was quick to cut off Bella’s line of thinking.”Of course she will say yes. She has loved you since the first time your eyes met.”

Jane sighed when Bella showed her all her doubts of why she would make a good partner. It broke her heart that Bella had such low esteem. It was something that she only allowed Jane to see as she put on the act of the strongest person in the room around everyone so that she could protect herself. Jane had tried hard to get Bella to see that people would like her if she let down her guard but Bella was too afraid to let anyone in. That was why the visit with Denalis was so important. It was everyone’s hope that Bella would get along with the coven and become more open with others.

“I know you don’t think so but you are great catch. You are kind, strong, caring, a good person and very lovable.”Jane leaned down and kissed Bella softly to stop her thoughts.”Yes, she is effected by what you look like but not because she is disgusted by you it’s because she is sad that you went through all that torture. If she was disgusted by you then she wouldn’t have touched you or had sex with you.”

Jane fought back the tears when Bella showed her what she felt like when she looked in the mirror. It hurt to know that Jane couldn’t make Bella believe that it didn’t matter what she looked like but Bella would never be able to get past all the damage to her body. Jane was reminded of the first time Bella saw her reelection and the rage she went into seeing what she looked like. Bella had destroyed the royal wing of the castle and killed 7 guards before she finally calmed down. From then on all the mirrors were removed from public spaces in the castle so that Bella didn’t have to see herself. It didn’t stop her though and it took over 30 yrs for Bella to finally be comfortable enough not to act out if she accidentally saw her reflection.

“I know you don’t believe me but think about what you just showed me. Rosalie spent time kissing and touching every scar on your body. Someone who is disgusted by you doesn’t do that. Also I don’t know if you noticed but in the arcade room she was constantly touching her mating mark and pulling down the collar of her shirt to make sure other could see it. A vampire doesn’t do that unless they are extremely proud to be claimed by their mate. Even I still touch my mating mark needing the reminder that our bond is real because sometimes I can’t believe how lucky I am that fate matched me with you.”Jane told her.

Jane gave Bella another kiss this one with a more passion than the first one. Her mind was overwhelmed with all the things Bella wanted them to do but Jane wasn’t going to give into her just yet. They still had things to talk about. Pulling back she chuckled at the indignant look Bella gave her.

“I’m not done talking to you.”Jane told her.”I want to talk about the Cullens.

Jane held Bella down when her eyes turned from red to black and she tried to jump up from the couch.”Bella I need you to calm down. If we don’t talk about them then when you get into the arena you are going to just kill them and not take your time which I know you want to do. So please take a deep breath and talk to me about what you are feeling.”

Bella fought against Jane’s hold but Jane knew that she would clam down soon because she wasn’t putting in any real effort to get away from her. If she was Bella could have easily fought her off with little to no effort. She waited patiently while Bella took deep breaths and half heartedly struggled sighing in relief when Bella stilled and closed her eyes. When she opened them they were back to their red color.

“Good now can tell me how it why you decided to reveal yourself to them?”Jane asked. Jane saw the scene where Didyme was fighting to kill Edward in the throne room and felt Bella’s distress at her mother’s anger.”You did it so that the royals had proof of the Cullen’s guilt to stop anymore upset that would be had if they drew out the trial.”

Bella nodded and then sent Jane imagines of what happened with Edward. It was hard but Jane just barely held back the sobs at seeing Bella show him what happened with Victoria. Lucky Bella only showed Jane a snippet and didn’t use her gift to make Jane feel the full extent of her emotions because if she did Jane would have reacted the same way Edward did. Bella stopped the images right when Edward stopped screaming. Jane flinched when she felt the amount of fear and anger coming from Bella. That fear and anger was replaced with guilt when the next image of Bella in the destroyed throne room came forward.

“So you got mad at him for trying to claim you again and decided that you would show him happened to you.”Bella nodded.”Well that is reasonable and I don’t know anyone else who wouldn’t have done the same thing. As to what happen in the throne room I am actually really proud of you for that. You didn’t hurt anybody at all. You didn’t even really try. That is a big improvement and you should be proud of yourself for that as well.”

Jane held Bella’s head still when she tried to shake it. It was hard to get Bella to realize that even when she acted out that she could be proud of herself for some of the things she did. It was something that Bella had always had problems understanding and Jane doubted that they would ever get Bella to the point of feeling alright with how she behaved when she had an episode.

“No you should be proud. Especially because of how happy the royals are that they can finally remodel. Caius has been bugging Athenodora about designing matching thrones. He has been annoying her so much about it that she threatened to take his manhood and hide it from him until he left her alone.”Jane told her.

Jane laughed when Bella started filling her mind with various pranks she was going to recommend Athenodora play on Caius. Bella always denied she had favorites but Athenodora was her favorite royal. She loved her parents but Athenodora was her soul mate. She and Bella were a lot alike and Athenodora was one of the only people to get Bella to step out of her comfort zone. When the pair got together they raised hell in the castle. Didyme had to step in many times to sooth hurt feelings of the pair’s victims when they went to far and the queen constantly said that she was getting grey hair due to all the stress the pair caused her. Jane thought they were hilarious and constantly stepped in for them when they needed an alibi or a distraction.

“How are you going to handle the Cullens in the arena? You only have two days left to plan.”Jane asked.

Jane watched as Bella laid out a different scenarios she had planned for and was impressed with how many different ways Bella had prepared for them. It seemed like Bella was set on putting on quite the show and if it went the way Bella planned then the Volturi were going to be even more feared and respected once the fight was over.

“I’m glad you aren’t going to be impulsive because if you were then you would regret not drawing out their pain.”Jane said.”Now was there anything you wanted to talk about because we have discussed everything I have wanted to?”

Jane happily let Bella pull her down for a kiss. She had missed Bella ever since they left for Alaska as they hadn’t had a chance to be alone with everything that had been going on. Usually they spend a least a few hours if not more everyday together and with the Rosalie situation and the Denali’s visit they had even had a minute by themselves. Jane was rethinking her stance on public displays of affection because if things kept going the way they were she would be extremely limited on how much she was able to touch Bella. They were very physical with each other and were always touching when in private. They usually were always naked in private as well. That being something else Jane missed. Bella was an exceptional lover and Jane wasn’t ashamed to admit that she was addicted to many things Bella did to her body and how Bella made her feel while doing it. Thinking of those things Jane stood from the couch and before Bella could move picked her up bridal style and carried the deadly vampire to their bedroom. Jane didn’t know how much more time they would have alone together and didn’t want to waste any sitting on the couch when they had a nice big bed to play on.
