My Own Worst Enemy 18

“I have a feeling that Rosalie is going to be the dominant one in that relationship.”Kate said as she watched Rosalie and Bella leave the dungeon. It was quite obvious to Kate that despite being asked not to that Rosalie fully intended to get Bella naked as soon as the sire bond broke. Maybe sooner if the way Rosalie had been watching Bella’s ass as she walked in front of her meant anything. Kate didn’t like thinking about her daughter having sex but was happy that Bella finally found her mate. Bella deserved to have a bit of happiness in her life and the fact that her mate bond came with a chance to have closure with the Cullens was a big bonus. Kate couldn’t have asked for a better outcome to this situation. Especially because Rosalie turned out not to be a horrible mate and they got to kill Carlisle, Edward and Esme. Those were the three that everyone involved with Bella hated the most. Kate didn’t care about the others and predicted that they would be mostly forgotten about and have few visitors if any.

“I think she will be good for Bella.”Sulpicia thought that Bella needed someone in her life that would force her to interact with the real world and not get lost in her projects. Something that the six of her mothers had a hard time doing.

“Rosalie is definitely going to push her out of her comfort zone.”Tanya was looking forward to seeing how their relationship would play out.

“Rosalie has always been bold and I think with her influence Bella will become a lot bolder as well.”Irina said.

Athenodora clapped her hands together to get everyone’s attention.”Alright now that the children are occupied let’s have some adult fun.”

“I’ll a little scared to ask what you mean by that.”Seeing the look Athenodora was sporting Didyme knew that her mate was planning something outrageous.

“Well I for one am excited to hear what she has planned.”Kate knew she would enjoy anything that Athenodora came up with.

“Let us hear what you want to do before we decide our next steps.”Sulpicia knew better than to let Athenodora have complete control of things.

“You’ll love it I promise.”Athenodora pointed at Esme.”As you can see Esme is beyond distraught over everything that has happened.”

Irina looked at the woman rocking in the corner of her cell eyes fixed on Carlisle.”I think that is an understatement.”

“Since we all want her to suffer a whole lot more than she already is I think we should put her in Carlisle’s cell and torture her in there. That way she will know that Carlisle had the opportunity to come to her aide and he never did anything.”Athenodora explained.

“He really won’t do anything will he?”Tanya didn’t think Carlisle would even acknowledge Esme was in the cell with him.

“And that lack of action will break her heart even more.”Kate liked this plan.

“Put Esme in Carlisle’s cell.”Sulpicia ordered the guards.

“Of course you majesty.”The guard motioned for two others and together the three of them collected Esme from her cell and pushed her not so gently into Carlisle’s. Locking the door behind them.

Irina smiled brightly as she watched Esme wrap her arms around Carlisle and tried to get him to pay attention to her only for Carlisle to try and push her off of him.”That was a great idea.”

“I only have great ideas.”Athenodora said.

“If it wasn’t for Carlisle messing with Rosalie’s bond I would keep them like this forever.”Sulpicia could think of nothing they could have done to affect Carlisle and Esme more. Taking away Carlisle’s mate when the bond was only partially completed and Esme having to watch her mate chose someone else over her. It had pushed them so far that Sulpicia wouldn’t be surprised if the pair tried to kill themselves.

“They truly are pitiful.”Tanya loved seeing Carlisle and Esme so devastated. It almost made up for how devastated Bella felt when they left her behind. The only thing that would ever make them truly even though would be both receiving a painful death. Something that Tanya was going enjoy giving them.

“As much fun as it is to watch this I want my chance at Esme. Then I would like to spend some time with Bella.”Irina was feeling extra protective of Bella ever since she was faced with her tormentors and wanted to check in to make sure her daughter was feeling alright.

“I would like to spent time with her as well as it’s Bella’s time to stay at the castle.”Sulpicia wanted to get in as much time as she could with Bella because she had a feeling that with a new mate that Bella was going to be changing her schedule and they wouldn’t likely get as much time with her as they usually did.

“Alright how do we want to do this?”Kate asked.

“The rest of you can do what you want as long as you leave her head for me to take.”Irina didn’t care what the others did as long as she was the one who got to kill Esme.

“I haven’t had a chance with her so I would like to beat on her and maybe remove a few body parts.”Other than taking Carlisle’s arms Tanya hadn’t really gotten a chance to hurt the prisoners.

“You go first then.”Sulpicia thought it was more than far that Tanya got the first chance to beat on Esme.

“Open Carlisle’s cell. The rest of you make sure you have cameras pointed at each of the prisoners at all time. I want at least two on Esme and two on Carlisle. More if there you can arrange it.”Athenodora told the guards.

“Yes, your majesty.”One of the guards started organizing the ones with cameras while another one opened Carlisle’s cell.

“Oh no you don’t.”Tanya punched Carlisle in the face when he tried to escape.

“Give me Edward’s pieces!!”Carlisle demanded. He knew if he could just get access to Edward’s body he could save him.

Esme threw her arms around Carlisle’s legs and held him back from trying to leave again.”Carlisle he is dead. Let it go.”

“I can revive him.”Carlisle tried to pry Esme off of him but was having no luck.”Let me go!!”

“Are we sure they are mated?”Kate asked.

“Jasper are Esme and Carlisle mated?”Sulpicia figured if anyone knew it would be him.

Jasper hated that he once again had the group’s attention but like always he wouldn’t lie. After seeing the extreme way the other three members of his coven were treated he wasn’t going to do anything to get the same punishments.”Carlisle has always felt the mate bond with Esme. He actually felt stronger for Esme than he did for Edward before they partially completed the bond. Even now he still feels the mate bond with Esme but that feeling is being replaced with overwhelming grief and despair.”

“How come you never said anything about Edward and Carlisle being mated?”Tanya asked Jasper. She understood why Marcus never said anything as the kings were very homophobic as was proven when Chelsea was killed and some of the vampires under her control found out they were being forced into heterosexual relationships or being forced away from a mate that was the same sex. The queens being the prime example. Jasper not saying anything however was confusing.

“Honestly Edward rarely felt anything but self loathing. It was so strong that I usually blocked him out. The mate bond does explain all the guilt Carlisle felt around Edward I always felt. I had assumed that he felt that way because of how much Edward hated being a vampire.”Jasper hadn’t really thought the pair was mates because of all the negative emotions they were usually overwhelmed with.

“That makes sense. Carlisle would definitely be more accepting of his mate bond with Esme than he would be with his bond with Edward. It also makes their father son relationship that much more creepy however.”Kate didn’t understand how Carlisle would be alright treating his mate like his own child. She couldn’t even imagine treating Tanya or Irina like she did Bella.

“Let me have Edward!!”Carlisle screamed in frustration.

“You know what, I have an offer for you Carlisle. I’m going to give you a choice between two things. One You can have Edward’s body but in return Esme will die or two Esme lives and we burn Edward’s body. You pick.”Athenodora offered.

Carlisle didn’t even have to think about the offer.”Edward’s body.”

“Carlisle!!”Esme couldn’t believe her mate was willing to let her die.

Sulpicia along with the other queens and Denali laughed. Even a couple of the guards joined in.”He didn’t even hesitate.”

“How does it feel to know that your mate would let you die just to have the access to a dead body?”Irina asked Esme.

“Carlisle you don’t mean it. You don’t want me to die.”Esme knew that Carlisle wasn’t thinking straight. He was to consumed with his grief to make sound decisions.

Carlisle ignored Esme.”I made my choice. Give me my son.”

"You actually thought that we would give you Edward’s body?”Athenodora asked.

“You said I have a choice!!”Carlisle reminded her.

“Yes I said it just to prove to Esme how little her mate the man she dedicated her entire life to cared about her.”Athenodora told him.

“You bitch.”Carlisle broke free of Esme’s hold and rushed the door only to get stopped by Tanya punching him again.

“Someone hold him so I can start on Esme.”Tanya was getting bored with Carlisle’s nonsense.

“I got him.”Kate wanted a chance to use her gift on him. Something that happened right away because Carlisle attacked her as soon as she walked into the cell. Wrapping her arms around him she held him tight as she sent random shocks of various levels of intensity through his body.

“Now it’s time for you and me to have a little fun.”Tanya approached Esme who was kneeling on the floor looking at Carlisle in disbelief.

“I think at this point she will welcome any fun we want to have with her.”Athenodora didn’t think Esme had any fight left in her.

“We’ll see.”Tanya was still going to take her chance even if Esme didn’t really care what was done to her. Pushing Esme on her back so she was laying on the floor Tanya straddled her and began pummeling her in the face with both fists.

“She isn’t even making that much sound.”Didyme was very disappointed with Esme lack of reaction. Other than some low whimpering the Cullen matriarch wasn’t reacting to what was happening to her.

“Take off her fingers. See if she feels that.”Sulpicia suggested.

Tanya pulled of Esme’s thumb and when she didn’t do more than grunt Tanya removed on of her hands. That caused Esme to scream but not that loudly.”This is all very boring.”

“Maybe take a limb. That might get her to do something.”Athenodora wanted Esme to suffer but it seems that the vampire had given up on life.

Tanya stood, grabbed Esme’s arm, put a foot on Esme’s chest and twisted her arm off. Esme’s scream was louder than before but still nothing that intense.”I think she is well and truly broken.”

“Good.”Didyme would have loved to cause Esme a lot of physical pain but seeing her so far gone emotionally that she has given up on life was definitely worth missing out on hearing her scream.

“Just take the rest of her limbs and have Kate use her gift on her then I will end her.”Irina was very pleased with how this was turning out. They ruined Esme’s entire life and the woman was going to die knowing that her mate would let her die just to have access to a dead body.

Tanya proceeded to take the rest of Esme’s limbs without Esme even seeming to notice.”That was just sad.”

“Carlisle doesn’t even seem to care.”Athenodora watched Carlisle while Tanya was focused on Esme and all he did was stare at Edward’s cell. He didn’t even acknowledge that Esme was being hurt.

“I doubt he will react to her death either.”Sulpicia didn’t think Carlisle even cared about Esme anymore.

“We will find out soon. Can you take him?”Kate asked Tanya.

“No problem.”Tanya would be more than happy to cause Carlisle some pain.

Kate gave Tanya Carlisle then moved to Esme, put her hand on the woman’s shoulder and activated her gift to full intensity. Esme’s screams were louder but still not as loud as they should have been for being on the receiving end of Kate’s gift. After a minute Kate pulled away.”That was very unsatisfying.”

“Regardless of how she is reacting I will still get a lot of pleasure in being the one who kills her.”Irina had wanted to kill Esme as soon as Bella finished telling them what happened with the Cullen the first day she met her daughter. Irina would have searched them out and killed every one of the Cullens but was stopped by Tanya because it would have gotten them in trouble with the kings.

“I’m jealous it’s you but it’s your right as you are the one who has known Bella the longest.”Didyme would have loved to be the one who killed Esme but understood that other than Tanya and Kate Irina had been in Bella’s life the longest. They had to deal with helping Bella overcome her mistrust and insecurities she gained from how the Cullens treated her. That alone gave the three of them the right to kill all the Cullens expect for Rosalie. Rosalie being just as much a victim as Bella.

“You could hold her while I rip her head off.”Irina offered.

“I would like that.”Didyme was more than willing to be a part of Esme’s death. Even if it was just helping Irina kill her. Walking into the cell she grabbed Esme’s torso and wrapped her arms around her holding her tightly to her chest.

“I have dreamed of this moment for decades and the fact that it’s being filmed and I will get to watch it again as many times as I want fills me with great joy. Do you have any last worlds?”Irina asked.

After a minute of Esme staying silent Kate spoke.”I don’t think she does.”

“I wouldn’t have really cared to hear them anyway.”Irina said. Putting her hands on either side of Esme’s head Irina twisted and pulled as hard as she could causing Esme’s head to detach from her torso. Taking a moment to look into Esme’s lifeless eyes Irina smiled before dropping it on the ground.”That felt better than I thought it would”

“Yes it did.”Didyme agreed.

“Now let’s move on to Carlisle. Not that I expect him to put upon more much of a fight.”Sulpicia predicted Carlisle was going to be as boring as Esme.

“I’m sure I can get some kind of reaction out of him.”Athenodora said. She walked in the cell and took Carlisle from Tanya. She waited until Tanya, Irina and Didyme excited the cell before punching Carlisle in the stomach.

“I won’t let you best me.”Carlisle called on his strength and lunged at Athenodora earning a kick to the head for his effort.

Athenodora followed the kick up with punching him in the face causing his head partially tear from his neck.”I already have.”

“When I win I want to be freed and given Edward’s body.”Carlisle chocked out around the pain. Running some venom on the wound he waited until his head was reattached before going after the queen again This time throwing a punch to her face.

Athenodora caught Carlisle’s fist in her hand and using his momentum ripped his arm from the socket causing Carlisle to crumple to the ground screaming in pain.”Maybe this will be fun.”

“It seems he’s still got some fight left in him.”Didyme was surprised that Carlisle was still fighting.

“His want to get to Edward is fueling him.”Kate said.

“Don’t you say his name!!”Carlisle screeched as he stumbled to his feet and made a move to the door to attack Kate.

Athenodora was faster than Carlisle and cut him off by grabbing him by the throat and slamming him to the floor.”Oh no you don’t.”

“Edward, Edward, Edward, Edward, Edward. There I said his name five times and unless he’s candyman he isn’t coming back to life to visit.”Kate told him.

“You bitch.”Carlisle growled.

Athenodora punched him in the face.”I don’t like that word.”

“It’s…what all..of you….are.”Carlisle gasped out.

“If anyone is a bitch it’s you.”Athenodora didn’t wait for a reply before hitting Carlisle in the face with alternating fists. When she stopped both eyes sockets were sunken in, his nose was missing, his jaw was barely attached to his skull and the rest of his face was covered in cracks.”Now let’s get on to the dismantling.”

Sulpicia laughed as Carlisle screamed while Athenodora took her time removing every finger, followed by his hands, arms then moving on to his toes, feet and legs.”That was much better than Esme.”

“You could tell he was feeling a lot of pain.”Irina had enjoyed ever sound.

“Now I’m going to end you.”Athenodora told Carlisle as she straddled his body.”Do you have any last words?”

“You won’t get any with this.”Carlisle knew that this wasn’t the end for him. He would get his revenge one way or another.

“You poor fool.”Athenodora wasn’t surprised that Carlisle still thought he was going to get out this. Proving him wrong she put both her hands on either side of his head and twisted it off. Once done she stood only to be suddenly hit with a body and lips on her own. Catching the scent of her mate Athenodora returned the kiss. It wasn’t until a throat cleaning did she end it.

“We will have time for that later. Now we need to check on Rosalie and make sure the bond broke.”Didyme was just as wound up as Sulpicia and Athenodora but wanted to make sure that Rosalie was alright before she locked her mates in their bedroom for a couple days.

“Do we really want to go check on them? I mean if the bond is broken we are dealing with a newly mated pair of vampires. I don’t know about you guys but I don’t want to see Bella having sex.”Kate in no way wanted to see her daughter having sex with her mate. She would of course tease Bella about sex but that didn’t mean she wanted to see her in the act.

“That’s why we need to hurry to stop them before they start.”Irina also didn’t want to see Bella having sex but wanted to see if they were successful in breaking the sire bond that controlled Rosalie.

“Burn the bodies.”Athenodora ordered the guards.”We no longer need anyone of you to record the prisoners so after you turn in the material you have you are dismissed.”

“We will your majesty.”Two different guards entered Carlisle’s cell and lit the bodies on fires on fire while another entered Edward’s cell and lit his on fire.

“Now for you three. We have no immediate plans to beat on you. However that may change in the future. Also some of the guards may be more inclined than we are. So your future is up in the air.”Athenodora personally didn’t care about the remaining three Cullens. They gave them some information and had cooperated with them the whole time so in her option they could just do their time peacefully. However Athenodora predicted the guards might not feel the same way as they were very protective of Bella. Especially Jane and Alec.

“Thank you your majesty.”Jasper was pleased to hear that the queens and the Denali didn’t have set plans to punish them. He wasn’t naive enough to think that they were completely safe. He had no doubt that they would get some kind of visits but would take the reprieve while he could.

“Now let’s go see Bella and Rosalie.”Tanya said.

“You guys walk into the room first.”Kate didn’t even want to chance seeing anything.

“I’m sure they will be able to control themselves.”Irina wasn’t actually sure if that was true but she was hoping so. Their child having sex wasn’t something a mother should witness. Irina would actually prefer if Bella never had sex but understood she had a mate now. If anything Irina had been lucky that Bella was never interested in dating or having casual bed partners so she had never had to deal with Bella being with anyone. Irina was kicking herself for not giving Bella the sex talk. Bella would probably be very nervous with her lack of experience and Irina should have prepared her. Maybe she could pull Bella aside and talk privately with her before she went off with Rosalie. Thinking about Rosalie Irina wondered what her experience with sex was. She had never heard Rosalie speak about past partners. That likely mean that Rosalie was just as inexperienced as Bella. Irina was sure that Carlisle never gave Rosalie the talk because not only was Carlisle a prude he was homophobic as well. That meant it was up Irina to talk to both of them. Something Irina was not looking forward to doing. It was a mother’s duty however to make sure that their child was prepared for everything they were going to encounter in life. It didn’t matter if the subject was one none of them would like to talk about.
