“Are you sure you got enough to eat?”Irina asked Bella from her seat next to the girl in the van the group was riding in to get to the trampoline park. Irina had wanted to cook Bella breakfast but her daughter claimed that she was craving McDonald’s hash browns so they decided to stop there for Bella to get food. From what Irina could tell the meal wasn’t very healthy but reasoned they were on vacation so Bella should be allowed to get junk food. When they got back to Forks Irina was going to insist Bella eat better. She was planning on sending a lunch with the Cullen children to school for Bella as she doubted that massed produced cafeteria food was good for the human body.

“I’m sure.”Bella hadn’t really been craving hash browns it was just an excuse for her not have to eat Irina’s cooking. Bella felt bad about lying but she didn’t want to hurt Irina’s feelings. She knew she would have to come clean eventually. She just hated the idea of Irina being upset.

“You should be asking did she eat too much. We are going to be jumping around we don’t Bella throwing up all over the place.”Kate said.

“That’s a good point. Are you going to be ok jumping on the trampolines so soon after eating?”Tanya asked in concern.

“I’ll make sure I won’t over do it and if I feel sick I’ll sit down.”Bella thought that she might be able to use it as an excuse to get out of jumping on the trampolines all together as she wasn’t excited about this outing. The only reason she agreed was because everyone else wanted to do it.

“Are you sure?”Rosalie didn’t want Bella to get sick and not be able to enjoy the day with them. Plus Rosalie had plans for more kissing when they were alone in their room later and that wouldn’t happen if Bella got sick. Something that Rosalie was sure Bella didn’t want to miss out on as well because the human had initiated many kisses the night before and if wasn’t for Rosalie holding back she had no doubt that Bella would have be willing to have sex. Rosalie didn’t let that happen no matter how much she wanted it to because not only were Bella’s parents in hearing distance Bella still didn’t know she was vampire.

“I’m positive.”Bella told her.

“Just let us know.”Irina was already planning on watching Bella like a hawk to make sure she didn’t get hurt but knowing the human might get sick made her wonder if it would just be better if they canceled the outing and did something less physical. Irina would make the decision after she saw how Bella reacted.

“Alright who wants to take bets on who can jump the highest?”Kate asked when Tanya parked the van in the parking lot.

“I got $50 on Emmett.”Alice said.

”If you are betting that means you already know the outcome.”Rosalie would never bet against Alice. Her sister always cheated even when she promised not to.

“I didn’t look.”Alice wasn’t lying. She didn’t have to look as her mate was physically superior than all the vampires that came with them.

“Even if you didn’t I’m still not better against you.”Garrett said.

Rosalie got out of the van and held her hand out for Bella who took it immediately.”Everyone needs to remember when Alice is present you have to make sure you add her not being able to bet or tell anyone else what bet is the main rule.”

“You guys are making me look bad in front of Bella.”Alice didn’t want Bella to think she was a cheater.

“Actually I think Bella should be banned from not only betting but playing any games because of her gift.”Emmett thought Bella’s gift was a lot more useful to cheat with than Alice’s.

“Especially with poker. She could just have a ghost tell her what everyone else’s cards are.”Garrett was of the same thought as Emmett. Bella’s gift was a lot more useful than Alice’s.

Kate grabbed Garrett by the shoulders and kissed him hard on the mouth.”You my love are absolutely brilliant!!”

“What are you talking about?”Tanya asked.

“We don’t need to worry about making money anymore.”Kate told her.

“Why not?”Irina was sure she wasn’t going to like whatever Kate had planned.

“Because all we need to do to make money is sign Bella up for high stakes poker tournaments. With her gift she could beat everyone and walk away with the prize money.”Kate smiled at the genus of her plan.

“Some of the pots in those tournaments are tens of millions of dollars.”Emmett thought Kate had a good plan.

“You are not exploiting Bella’s gift to make money.”Irina shut that idea down right away.

“Actually that does sound like a good idea. I know most of the ghosts that bother me would love to help me cheat other people out of money.”Bella didn’t think she would have a problem getting any ghost volunteers to help her commit a crime.

“See Bella understands my brilliance.”Kate was happy her niece was on board.”Since you aren’t 18 yet you’ll have to make yourself a fake id so we can legally sign you up.”

“Maybe you should set up a bank account with that name as well so you have place to put your winnings because I doubt they will give it all to you in cash.”Emmett said.

“That’s a good point. You would to have worry about taxes as well. Can you set up a fake social security number?”Alice asked.

Bella nodded.”It’s beyond easy to set up a fake identity that would even fool the government.”

“Then we are in business. When we get back to Forks we will find some tournaments for you to enter.”Kate was going to research some after Bella went to bed.

“Bella is not going to use a fake identity to cheat her way through poker tournaments.”Tanya shot that idea down right away.

“You’re right. It would probably be less of a hassle if I wait until I’m 18 so I don’t have to worry about hiding the money.”Bella thought Tanya made a good point. It would be easier to just kept everything in her legal name.

“No that’s what I was saying. I meant that I’m not going to allow you to enter poker tournaments to use your gift to cheat your way though.”Tanya could already imagine all the things that could go wrong with the idea.

“I have to agree with Tanya on this one. I don’t think it’s a good idea to get involved with the kind of people who play poker in the kind of tournaments you guys are talking about.”Rosalie didn’t think it would be safe for Bella. Especially if she somehow got caught.

Emmet flexed his muscle.“That’s why she will have us as her body guards.”

“Yeah we would never let anything happen to Bella. Plus if she is making money this way she won’t have to worry about having to get a job that she would most likely would be fired from because of all the ghost that would bother her while she’s working.”Kate said.

“Which is most likely going to happen. I mean I barely passing my classes as I am so distracted in class and don’t usually have much time to do homework at home because I’m helping one ghost or another.”Bella told them.

“You’re doing bad in school?”Rosalie asked.

“I have had to go to summer school every year since middle school. Even if I wanted to go to college I don’t have the grades for it and my SAT scores aren’t that good either because while I was taking my test a ghost was annoyed I wasn’t paying attention to them and decided it would be a good idea to sing show tunes at the top of their lungs to punish me.”Bella had considered retaking the test but in the end she didn’t want to bother.

“What were plans once you graduated?”Tanya was very concerned with the lengths the ghosts who contacted Bella went to get her help. It seemed the human’s entire life revolved around her gift and Tanya didn’t think that was a great way to live.

“I was planning on buying a car, moving out of my dad’s house and getting a crappy job to pay for my no doubt crappy apartment and spending the rest of my days dealing with the ghost until I grew old and died or got so depressed I killed myself.”Bella shrugged when she saw the looks that she was getting from the others.

Irina immediately pulled Bella into her arms and hugged her tightly.”If you ever feel so depressed that you feel the need to take your own life I want you to contact me. No matter what time it is day or night reach out to me and I will be there as soon as I can and we will work through it together.”

“Once we get settled I will put all our numbers in your phone. That way you can contact any us.”Tanya laid her hand on Bella’s shoulder wanting to feel her daughter’s warmth to reassure her that Bella was alive and safe.

“Yeah we will be there for you no matter what Bella. Even if you just need someone to yell at you can call any of us.”Kate was going to go out her way to make sure her niece had some fun in her life. It seemed that Bella didn’t have much and Kate wanted to change that. Even if it meant she had to go against her sisters’ wishes and enter Bella in poker tournaments.

“And if you don’t want to call you can text us instead.”Even though Rosalie had heard Bella say she wanted to die before it still caused Rosalie the same panic and fear it did the first time. Rosalie just hoped that if she couldn’t help Bella with her gift that she could at least make Bella happy enough that she wanted to live.

“Sure.”Bella had a feeling that she was going to be getting a lot of random calls and text from the group. It made her regret being honest with them about what she saw her future like. Bella didn’t even know why she was honest with them. She should have just lied like she normally did.

“With that said let’s go jump around.”Alice was going to try to check in on Bella’s future more often just to make sure Bella was ok. Alice’s gift wasn’t foolproof though and she didn’t get to pick the subject of her visions so she was also going to make sure that Bella knew that she and Emmett were there for her.

Irina squeezed Bella tightly before releasing her from the hug. She took Bella’s hand and started walking with the group.“Do you still feel like doing this?”

“Yeah it sounds like fun.”Bella felt somewhat guilty that she ruined the group’s good mood but had no doubt that with Kate and Emmett involved it would get back to that soon.

Kate held the door open.“I rented the place for the day so no-one will bug us.”

“Nice.”Emmett was happy they wouldn’t have to worry about accidentally bumping into humans.

“Hello everyone I’m Maria the manager.”A small brown haired woman in her late 30’s said as they all crowded the lobby.

“I’m Kate Denali I made the reservation.”Kate told her.

“Alright everyone just needs to remove their shoes and sign some wavers then the room is all yours.”Maria handed out pens and pieces of paper to the group.

Irina normally would just sign the waver without reading it but with Bella being human she wanted to make sure she was going to be safe.”If I sign this and my daughter gets hurt then you are not liable for her injuries?”

“That’s correct. By signing that paper you take personal responsibility for yourself and any underage members of your group.”Maria explained.

“Should I sign it?”Irina asked Tanya.

Tanya looked the paper over.”It won’t really matter if Bella’s gets hurt because we would take care of all of her medical bills and wouldn’t sue the place which is what this paper is protecting the business from.

“Alright.”Iran pushed the thought of Bella getting hurt bad enough to worry about medical bills to back of her mind reminding herself that Bella wanted to do this and Irina would be there to keep her safe. Signing the paper she gave it to Maria.”There you are.”

“Do I need to sign anything?”Bella asked after she took her shoes off and stored them in the bins provided.

“No I took care of it for you.”Irina was happy that she got to act as the role of Bella’s parent for the day. Even if it was just so Bella could jump on trampolines Irina would cherish the opportunity.

“Come on Bella.”Kate called out from her spot in the middle of the room.

“You guys coming?”Bella asked Irina and Tanya.

“Yes we just need to take our shoes off.”Tanya told her.

“See you out there then.”Bella said as she met up with Rosalie at the entrance.

Irina sat down on the bench to untie her boots.”We need to call a family meeting when Bella goes to bed tonight.”

“For what?”Tanya asked form her seat next to Irina.

“I want to talk about what Bella said about killing herself.”Irina didn’t even like thinking about it let saying it out loud.

“It would be good to get everyone on the same page so we can help Bella if she needs it.”Tanya agreed.

“When she needs it.”Irina corrected.”Because from what we have personally witnessed and have been told Bella’s gift isn’t going away anytime soon and unless Eleazar is some kind of miracle worker I don’t think he’s going to be able to help her control it.”

Tanya sighed.”I hate that you’re right. It’s just to bad we can’t help her somehow.”

“I feel guilty too.”Irina said.

Tanya put her arm around Irina and held her close.“After hearing her say that I all I want to do is grab her and take her back to Alaska and never let her out of my sight again.”

“I am completely on board with that plan.”Irina would prefer taking Bella home and keeping her there.

“It wouldn’t stop the ghost from bothering her.”Tanya wished they could find some solution to Bella’s problem but they had never come across anyone with Bella’s gift before. Eleazar had never even heard rumors of someone being to talk to the dead.”Until we have our meeting let’s try and enjoy the day with Bella.”

“Good idea.”Irina took Tanya’s offered hand and followed her to the trampoline area. She smiled when she saw Bella laughing at Kate who had just fallen face first onto the ground. Seeing Bella laugh Irina realized it wasn’t a sound she hadn’t heard that often since she met Bella. Irina was determined to change that and knew the group with them on the trip and once they were told about it Carmen and Eleazar were all just as determined as well. It was obvious how much Bella was already loved by everyone. Kate had claimed her before she even met the human and once Kate claimed someone she would go all out to make them happy. After Bella helping speak to his brother Garrett although he wasn’t as open with his feeling as Kate was just as devoted. Even the three Cullen children all cared for Bella. Rosalie being mated mated to her and Alice and Emmet from years of visions and worry about a girl they didn’t know but wanted to help. With all these people backing Bella Irina felt a lot better about Bella’s future because it didn’t matter which one of them Bella reached out to they would do all they could to make sure Bella was happy and safe. Your child being happy safe the two most important things any parent wanted.
