“Rosalie what were you thinking?!”Rosalie bristled at Irina’s tone. Rosalie knew she was talking about her interaction with Bella but Rosalie didn’t feel like she did anything wrong. It was Bella who was rude and dismissive. Just the thought of Bella made Rosalie grind her teeth. Alice had sent Rosalie to the club to meet her mate. Tanya and Irina had invited themselves along against Rosalie’s objections and based on how Tanya forced her away from Bella and how well Irina seemed to get on with the human Rosalie regretted allowing it. Rosalie didn’t understand why Bella was nice to Irina and not her. Bella was her mate she should have been throwing herself at Rosalie not being hostile. Rosalie was a catch, desired by everyone. Bella should feel blessed that fate chose her to Rosalie’s mate. The fact that Bella didn’t seem to even want to look at her pissed Rosalie off.

“I was thinking that my mate is an insufferable, rude human who acts like a child.”Rosalie told her.

“You seriously don’t see what you did wrong?”Tanya asked.

“I did nothing wrong. I simply spoke to my mate. She was the one who was in the wrong.”Rosalie knew that she was right in how she acted.

“Rosalie if someone approached you and said that your time belonged to them, they were allowed to touch you whenever they wanted and that if they wanted to talk to you you would have to no matter what how would you react?”Irina hoped Rosalie would realize how inappropriate she acted.

“When it comes to my relationship with Bella all those things are true.”As Rosalie’s mate Bella belonged to Rosalie. Only death could break the bond.

Tanya groaned.”You are really going to make this difficult aren’t you?”

“I’m not making anything difficult, Bella is.”Rosalie had been perfectly reasonable.

“If you want to have a relationship with Bella you are going to have to change your attitude.”Irina didn’t think Bella would put up with any of Rosalie’s usual nonsense.

“Bella is my mate. I shouldn’t have to change myself for her to like me. She is supposed to like me the way I am.”Rosalie wasn’t going pretend to be something she wasn’t just to get on Bella’s good side.

“If you continue to treat her like you just did she not only won’t like you but she will refuse to speak to you.”Tanya predicted Bella to go to extreme measures to avoid Rosalie.

“She was probably just drunk. That’s why she was acting that way.”Bella drinking alcohol was something Rosalie was going to speak to the human about. Rosalie didn’t approve of alcohol and wouldn’t allow Bella to continue consuming it.

“Bella wasn’t drunk. She was insulted. As anyone would be if a stranger approached them and said what you said.”Irina would have at least thrown her drink on someone if they did what Rosalie did.

“She insulted me. I’m the victim here not her.”Rosalie was highly offended that Irina would suggest otherwise.

“I know that you are used to bullying everyone do your bidding but I don’t think that’s going to work with Bella.”Tanya didn’t think Bella would be open to anything but an apology and groveling from Rosalie.

“I don’t bully people.”Rosalie didn’t bully anyone. It wasn’t her fault that people went to great lengths to make her happy. She just had the kind of personality that drew others to her.

“Rosalie you are the biggest bully I have ever met.”Tanya held up a hand to stop Rosalie’s denial.”You are mean, demanding and if you don’t get your way you throw tantrums. People do things for you because they are afraid of what you will do if they don’t.”

Rosalie huffed.”I’m not that bad.”

“No you are worse and if you want to have a relationship with your mate you need to change.”Irina told her.

“What about Bella? You are happily pointing out all my flaws but what about hers? She was ruder than I was and did you see how many drinks she had?”Rosalie asked.

“Bella wasn’t rude she was defensive. Something any normal person would have been if someone had approached them and did what you did.”Tanya didn’t know how they were going to get Rosalie to realize she was in the wrong. The blond was to stubborn to see that the way she treated Bella was unreasonable.

“She had no reason to be defensive.”Rosalie was the one who should have been defensive.

Irina sighed.”Rosalie I love you and your abrasive personality. However if you want a chance with Bella you are going to have to change your attitude. Bella is not going to put up with you trying to dictate her every move. She is obviously an independent person who doesn’t like being told what to do.”

“The fact that she is a lawyer and owns her own practice is more than proof of that.”Tanya said.

“Those things are insignificant because as my mate Bella will not be working much longer.”Rosalie wasn’t going to let her mate have a job that would interfere with their time spent together. She wanted Bella to give Rosalie her complete attention. Having a job wouldn’t allow that.

It was Tanya’s turn to sigh.”Rosalie you can’t make the girl quit her job.”

“Bella doesn’t need to work. I have plenty of money to take care of the both of us.”Rosalie told her.

“I know you are old fashion and have always envisioned yourself in a dominant role in your relationship but you can’t force Bella to be a housewife. From what she said she has worked hard her whole life to achieve her goals and it wouldn’t be fair to ask her to give up everything she has worked for.”Irina was positive Bella wouldn’t be happy as a housewife.

“I think if you gave her an ultimatum she wouldn’t choose you.”Tanya didn’t think Bella would choose Rosalie over anything.

“Of course she would choose me. I’m her mate.”Rosalie knew that Bella would happily give up her career to be a housewife. The role that Rosalie always expected her mate to play. Ever since she was human Rosalie had dreamed of falling in love and marrying a woman who would fill the role of the perfect wife. They would be in charge of keeping a neat and tidy home and have Rosalie’s dinner ready for her after she came home from work. Now that she found her mate Rosalie’s fantasy would be easy to fulfill. Maybe not the dinner or Rosalie having a job but the doting housewife part.

“I think you should talk to Alice about this. I know her vision of Bella was kind of spotty but I’m sure she will able to tell you how badly Bella will react to you trying to demand her do anything.”Irina had insisted on coming along after Alice told them about the meeting because the vision had been so vague. Now she was very glad she did. If they had left Rosalie on her own Irina could only imagine how out of hand Rosalie would have gotten. As it was the damage control Irina tried to do for her cousin had failed miserably.

“Alice’s visions aren’t reliable.”Rosalie didn’t put much faith in Alice’s gift. It was easy to manipulate to create false visions.

“You should still ask her because you my friend need all the help you can get.”Tanya said.

“Like I said Bella was probably just drunk. It impaired her mind to the point she didn’t feel the bond fully.”Rosalie fully believed that Bella would have fell in line if she hadn't been influenced by the alcohol. Something Rosalie had already been planning the lecture she was going to give the human about.

Irina rolled her eyes.”Bella wasn’t drunk. She had two drinks and both contained little alcohol.”

“Seriously Rosalie you need to fix your attitude and start treating Bella more respectfully. If you don’t you will lose your mate.”Tanya told her.

“Bella is the one who needs to fix her attitude and I fully plan to help her do it.”Rosalie was going to make sure Bella understood her role in their relationship.

“How are you going to do that?”Tanya asked.

“I’m going to do that by explaining what is to be expected of her from this moment forward. That should make her fall into line.”Rosalie was sure of it.

“I really want to strangle you right now.”Irina didn’t know how to get through to Rosalie when she was like this. Her cousin wasn’t known to admit she was wrong no matter how much evidence was presented to prove otherwise.

“I don’t understand why you are so hostile to me but were so nice to Bella.”Rosalie was highly irritated that Irina and Bella got along so well.

“I was nice to Bella because she was nice to me. I was also trying to get her to give you another change. Something that she wasn’t willing to do because of how rude you were and how badly you insulted her.”Irina had only approached Bella to help Rosalie. She had hoped she could convince Bella that Rosalie was worth talking to again. If not then at least get Bella to hang out with her so that Irina could talk up Rosalie and have Bella realize that her cousin wasn’t a bad person.

“Now we need to come up with a better plan to get Bella to give you that chance because I doubt she will be receptive of anything you will come up with.”Tanya was positive Bella wouldn’t react well to any idea Rosalie thought was appropriate.

“First we need to find her.”Irina said.

“That would have been easy if you had let me follow her when she left.”Rosalie had wanted to go after Bella but Tanya and Irina stopped her saying she needed to give Bella space before she approached her again.

“If you followed after her when she left and she saw you she would have called the cops and had you arrested for stalking.”The reason Tanya had stopped Rosalie was because she was afraid of what Rosalie would have done to get Bella to talk to her and how Bella would have reacted.

“Well then what do you suggest we do to find her?”Rosalie asked.

Irina pulled out her phone.”Her name is Bella and she has her own law practice. Based on the fact that she is at a bar in Seattle it’s safe to say she is probably based out of here.”

“Good point.”Tanya pulled out her phone pulled up the Internet app.

“I think I should just go outside and follow her scent.”Even if Bella had taken a car home Rosalie was sure she would be able to find her.

“I think you should pull out your phone and start looking.”Irina wasn’t going to let Rosalie go after Bella. That had disaster written all over it.

Rosalie huffed and pulled out her phone.”I still think following her would be the best thing to do.”

“I found her.”Tanya held up her phone to show the other two her screen.

“What does it say?”Irina asked.

“It says her name is Isabella Swan and she is a highly sought after trail lawyer. This article is about her getting a woman out of prison who was convicted of murdering her abusive husband. With Bella’s help the woman’s conviction was overturned and she is now a free woman.”Tanya was highly impressed with Bella’s actions.

“From what I’m seeing after looking her up that isn’t the only person she has helped get out of prison. She has even been given the key to the city by the mayor.”Irina was just as impressed with Bella as Tanya was.”There are article after article of all the work she has done.”

“Of course my mate would be exceptional.”Rosalie wasn’t surprised at all that Bella was so successful. It was to be expected that Rosalie be matched with someone as impressive as she was.

“You are going to take credit for her achievements aren’t you?”Tanya could easily see Rosalie claiming Bella’s victories as her own.

“It’s only logical that my mate be on the same level as me.”Rosalie told her.

Irina rolled her eyes.”You can’t take credit for Bella’s hard work. She did it all on her own without your help.”

“Let’s forget about that.”Tanya knew they weren’t going to change Rosalie’s mind so she didn’t want to waste time on arguing.”We need to discuss how Rosalie is going to apologize and beg Bella for forgiveness.”

“I’m not apologizing to anyone and it would be a cold day in hell before I beg for anything.”Rosalie would never lower herself to apologizing and begging.

“If you want to have a relationship with your mate you are going to have to apologize and beg for forgiveness. It’s the only thing you can do that would make her even consider speaking to you.”Irina said.

“I won’t apologize for being myself.”Rosalie was never going to feel bad for who she was.

“Look, you tried to connect with your mate your own way. It didn’t work. Now I’m suggesting you try something else. If you don’t you will just push Bella further away.”Tanya told her.

Rosalie wasn’t going to admit out loud but maybe her cousins were right. Rosalie still didn’t believe she was in the wrong but she couldn’t explain why she was right to Bella if she didn’t talk to her.”What do you have in mind?”

“You’re going to go along with it?”Irina looked a Rosalie suspiciously. Her agreeing wasn’t something Rosalie would usually do.

Rosalie shrugged.“Tanya was right. My way didn’t work so let’s try something else.”

“Alright.”Tanya didn’t know why Rosalie was giving up so easily but wasn’t going to question it.”I think the first thing you need to doing is send her flowers with a note apologizing for the way you spoke to her.”

“Fine.”Rosalie chocked out between clenched teeth. She didn’t want to apologize but it seemed it was the only way to get Bella to talk to her. At least she wasn’t saying it out loud.

“In that note offer to buy her coffee as a part of that apology.”Irina suggested.

“Why coffee why not dinner?”Friends went out to coffee. Rosalie didn’t want Bella to think that her interest in her was that of friendship.

“Because dinner puts too much pressure on her. By asking to go to coffee there will be no expectations and she will feel better knowing that she can leave anytime she wants to.”Irina explained.

“But I want expectations.”Rosalie thought that was the whole point of apologizing. So that Bella would begin a relationship with her.

“Unfortunately your actions have made expectations impossible because as of now she hates you.”Tanya told her.

“She doesn’t hate me.”Rosalie knew that Bella didn’t hate her. The human was probably overwhelmed with the alcohol she drank and the intensity of the bond and was acting out.

“Whether she does or doesn’t it doesn’t matter. You are beginning your relationship at the bottom. It will take a great effort on your part to get her to agree to be your friend so you need to be on your best behavior.”That being something Irina wasn’t sure Rosalie would be able to do.

“When should I send these flowers?”Rosalie asked.

“Monday to her work. That way she doesn’t get creeped out about you knowing where she lives.”Tanya expected Rosalie to find out that information as soon as they left the bar. The blond was probably going to spend all weekend watching over Bella.

“I can do that.”Rosalie would make sure she sent the most expensive arraignment she could find. That way Bella would know that Rosalie was willing to spoil her.

“Then it seems we have a plan.”Irina just hoped that Bella would be open to speaking to Rosalie.

“Let’s get out of here.”Rosalie didn’t want to hang out in the bar with all the human body smells and the blatant staring. Slipping out of the booth with Tanya and Irina following after her Rosalie thought about Bella. While Rosalie was overjoyed to meet her mate she was extremely frustrated with how the girl acted. Rosalie didn’t want to think it but maybe Tanya and Irina were right maybe she did insult Bella. Rosalie shook that thought away. Even if she did that didn’t excuse the way Bella acted. Her mate was rude and very mean. Those things being something Rosalie wasn’t going to put up with. She would just have to figure out how to tell Bella that without her getting upset. Rosalie was sure it wouldn’t be hard. They were mates. The perfect match for each other. That meant that Bella was put in Rosalie’s life to make her happy and nothing would make Rosalie happier than to have her dream housewife. Rosalie just needed to figure out how to convince Bella that she wanted the same thing. Rosalie didn’t think it would be to hard as she could be very persuasive when she wanted to be.
