“Why isn’t she here yet?”Rosalie asked no one in particular. She was happy that Bella decided to attend the comic con but the waiting around to see her was torture. It was already 15 minutes past the time the signing session was supposed to start and Rosalie was getting irritated with having to wait. She wasn’t the only one as the rest of the people in line were also getting restless. The only positive thing that came with waiting so long was that it gave Alice a chance to network with other Bella Swan fans. The little vampire had gotten leads on a few items that Rosalie was going to look into purchasing when she got a chance. One of those things being a man selling his entire collection. He said something about his husband making him it sell it so they could buy a house. Rosalie personally would have filed for divorce if she was him but then again Bella was her mate. The man lived in Wisconsin and Alice had already set up a time to do a virtual tour. If it worked out Rosalie was going to send professional movers to pack everything and ship it to Forks. She had no idea where she would put everything but figured Esme wouldn’t mind adding an extension to the house or building a separate space Rosalie could hold her collection.

“Look they are setting up her pictures.”Emmett said.

Rosalie stood on her toes to see the various 8 by 10’s they had to offer to get signed. She saw a couple she was interested in. Luckily she brought a lot of cash because with the items she brought with her, the costume shirt and the pictures she was getting over a dozen signatures.”They have some good ones.”

“She seems to really like candy.”Alice watched as one of the convention volunteers started laying out a bunch of different bags of candy on the table.

“That can’t be healthy for a human to eat that much sugar.”Luna didn’t know much about the human body but knew enough to know that large amounts of sugar were bad for them.

“Alright everyone.”The same volunteer who put out the candy said getting the crowd’s attention.”How this is going to work is that you can have the item you brought with you to have signed or you can pick one of the pictures provided to have Ms. Swan sign. We ask that you have your prepaid tickets ready to be scanned when you make it to the table. If you haven’t prepaid please have your cash ready instead. With that please help me in welcoming Bella Swan.”

Rosalie cheered with the rest of the crowd as Bella made her way from behind a curtain and took a seat at the table.”She is so hot.”

“Yes she is.”Another volunteer said as he waved Rosalie forward.”Are you ready?”

If Rosalie could have blushed she would have realizing that she said that out loud.”Yes, I am.”

“Then go on up to the table and the woman in the blue con t-shirt will get you started.”The man told her.

“Thank you.”Rosalie walked up to the table and pulled out her cash.

“How many items are you going to have signed?”The woman asked.

“I have 8 of my own items and I would like to get five of the 8 by 10’s signed.”Rosalie told her handing the woman her cash.

“You’re all set.”The woman motioned for Rosalie to approach Bella.

“Hello there. You got a picture earlier didn’t you?”Bella asked.

Rosalie stared dumfound at the sight of Bella’s bright smile. She was pulled out of her stupor by Alice’s elbow in her side.”Yes, I did.”

“Let’s see what you have for me to sign.”Bella looked at the uniform top and all the other items which consisted of posters and action figures.”You are a Star Light fan I see.”

“I am a fan of everything you do.”Rosalie told her.

“Would you like me to write anything for you or do you just want my signature?”Bella asked.

“Can you personalize it with my name?”What Rosalie really wanted was for Bella to write her phone number but wasn’t sure how to go about asking.

“Of course. It was Rosalie right?”Bella asked.

“Yes it is.”Rosalie was impressed Bella remembered. Rosalie opened her mouth to say something else only to shut it quickly when the same curly haired red head that she saw at the photo op came from behind the curtain and stood behind Bella and glared at Rosalie. It wasn’t that she was being glared at that surprised Rosalie it was the fact that the woman was a vampire that caught her off guard.

“Everything alright?”The red head’s tone was hostile.

“All is well Vic. I was just signing some items for Rosalie here.”Bella told her.

“Is that all?”The vampire Bella called Vic asked.

Rosalie wasn’t sure what was going on and when she turned to look at the Alice and Emmett who were in line behind her she could tell they were confused as well.”Yeah just getting some signatures.”

“Why don’t we hurry this up then.”Vic suggested.

“Vic be polite. They paid for the experience just like everyone else here. No need to be rude.”Bella scolded.

“I’m not being rude.”Vic denied.

Bella chuckled.”Of course you’re being rude. Your rudeness is what you are known for.”

“I’m known for having no mercy on my enemies.”Vic corrected.

“And that is a trait I love about you.”Bella replied.

“Have you two known each other long?”Rosalie wasn’t pleased to hear Bella say she loved Vic and wanted to know what their relationship was.

“That’s none of your business.”Vic snapped.

“Victoria and I met when I was a teenager and we have been together ever since then.”Bella told her.

“You’re together? Like a couple together?”Rosalie wasn’t pleased hearing Bella say that.

“That’s none of your business.”Victoria shut Rosalie down again.

“Of course it’s my business.”Rosalie said before she could stop herself.

“What’s that supposed to mean?”Victoria asked.

“That is a conversation I think would be better had in private.”Rosalie figured that talking to Victoria about the mate bond would be the best way to go.

“I don’t have anything to say to you.”Victoria told her.

“Well I have things to say to you.”Rosalie wasn’t going to be intimidated by Victoria. Even if the woman radiated power and had Rosalie’s instincts telling her flee.

“Wonderful. How about I finish singing your group’s items and then you guys can go chat?”Bella suggested.

“Bella I am not leaving you alone with this many people.”Victoria said.

Bella waved her hand towards the curtain.“Go behind the curtain and leave it cracked. Then you will see and hear everything that is going on.”

“I don’t think that is a good idea.”Victoria argued.

“Well it’s either do that or expose yourself in front of all these humans because I have no doubt that you are about to get into a fight.”Bella said.

Rosalie now knew for sure that Bella knew about vampires.”Let’s go behind the curtain.”

“Fine but if anything even looks suspicious then you are to call for me.”Victoria told Bella.

“Of course.”Bella turned her attention to Alice who was watching the scene with wide eyes.”What do you have for me to sign?”

Alice wasn’t sure what was going on but decided to follow Bella’s lead.”I have a couple Little Genius dolls for you to sign.”

“I love it when people show their love for that character. Do you want it personalized?”Bella asked.

“You can write what you want on them.”Alice figured giving Bella the option would get her a better quote.

“How about this? From one little genius to another, love Bella Swan.”Bella held up the doll so Alice could see the box.

"It’s perfect.”Alice was more than happy with the inscription.

“Good.”Bella then finished signing Alice’s stuff before moving on to the rest of their group. Once done she turned her attention to Rosalie. Well then I hope you enjoy the rest of the con and don’t worry to much about Vic she won’t kill you if you are honest with her about your intentions.”

“Uh thank you.”Rosalie wasn’t sure that made her feel any better about talking to Victoria.

“You’re welcome.”Bella gave Rosalie a wink before she resumed signing.

“Let’s get this over with so I can decide whether or not your deaths will be drawn out and painful or quick and uneventful.”Victoria said as she led the Cullens and Debby behind the curtain to a private area that was obviously set up for Bella.

“There is no need for threats.”Rosalie grumbled.

“There is always a need for threats when someone takes an interest in Bella. Especially when that someone is a vampire.”Victoria told her.

“Did you ever think that my interests were justified?”Rosalie didn’t appreciate Victoria being so hostile.

“I fail to see any interest you would have in Bella as being justified.”Victoria said.

“Well it is.”Rosalie told her.

“Alright I’m listening how is your interest justified?”Victoria asked.

“Because Bella is my mate.”Rosalie didn’t even have time to blink before Victoria had her slammed to the ground with a hand around her throat.

“You lie.”Victoria shifted out of the way causing Emmett’s attempt at saving Rosalie to fail with him ending up falling face first into the ground.

That pissed Lena off and she made a move to go after Victoria as well but instead of the punch Lena threw hitting Victoria in the face it hit Rosalie instead.”You bitch!”

“Stop.”Bella’s voice caused everyone in the group to freeze. The human walked up to where Victoria had Rosalie pinned to the ground and put her hand on the red head’s shoulder.”You need to control yourself because you have caught the attention of the volunteers. I covered for you this time but if you continue then people will see you.”

“You expect me to stop when this vampire is making false claims?”Victoria asked.

“It’s not a false claim.”Rosalie choked out with the little air she was getting to her lungs.

“I don’t care if it’s false claim or not. You all need to control yourselves.”Bella held up a hand to stop Victoria’s reply.”If you don’t I will call my mother.”

“You wouldn’t.”Victoria looked appalled at the very idea.

“I would and do you think she would be pleased to know that you started a fight at my first comic con?”Bella asked.

Victoria’s shoulder’s slumped.“Fine but until we have a formal meeting they are to stay away from you.”

“Good. Now let her up. Then set up a time for a formal meeting. After that the rest of you clear out. I had to go through a lot to get the opportunity to attend a comic con and I won’t stand for any of you ruining my experience more than you already have.”Bella glared at each of the Cullens and Debby before making her way back to the signing table.

Victoria sighed as she got off of Rosalie.”I am only refraining from killing you because of Bella. She has fought for the right to do a comic con for years and I am not going to be the one who makes it so she can’t do another one.”

“Why would she have to fight to do a comic con? I bet any one of them would have her.”Alice didn’t understand anything that was going on and it frustrated her.

“That’s none of your concern.”Victoria once again snapped.

“Regardless if it is or not Bella told us to set up a formal meeting. So that’s what we need to do.”Rosalie didn’t want to upset Bella more than she already had.

“What is your coven leader’s name and number so I can have someone reach out to send a formal invention to them?”Victoria asked.

“His name is Carlisle Cullen.”Rosalie told her.

Victoria frowned.”Of course you are a Cullen. You couldn’t be a Denali because Bella doesn’t have that kind of luck with vampires.”

“What is that supposed to mean?”Edward didn’t like Victoria’s attitude or her obvious distain for his coven. The fact that he couldn’t read her mind just irritated him that much more.

”Give me Carlisle’s number so I can be done with you lot and get back to Bella.”Victoria handed her phone to Rosalie.

Rosalie held back from scrolling through Victoria’s phone to get Bella’s number and just put in Carlisle’s.”There I’ll tell him to expect a call.”

“Until then don’t let me catch you hanging around Bella. I don’t care if she doesn’t want me to fight. I will kill you if you go near her.”Victoria threatened.

“We got it.”Lena said.

“Good now shoo.”Victoria motioned with her hands for them to go away.

“Let’s go guys.”Rosalie wanted one last look at Bella but didn’t want anymore trouble.

“What the hell was that about?”Emmett asked when they were out of sight from Victoria.

“I don’t know but I can’t read her mind either.”Edward told them.

“Do you think Victoria is gifted?”Debby asked.

“She is something.”Lena did not like the red head at all.

“Yeah she’s a bitch.”Emmett like his mate did not like Victoria.

“We should head home. I don’t want to risk running into her again.”Rosalie did not want another confrontation.

“I really wanted to meet some more celebrities but it’s not worth another fight.”Alice was sad that she wasn’t going to get anymore autographs or pictures but it wasn’t a good idea to provoke Victoria.

“Definitely not.”Rosalie said the rest of the group murmuring their agreements. This whole situation had gotten completely out of control and Rosalie wasn’t sure how to salvage it. The fact that Bella knew about vampires was good but the fact that she was attached to some was not. Especially because the vampire she was attached to was ready to commit homicide for Rosalie claiming a mate bond. Hopefully Victoria would be contacting Carlisle soon for a formal meeting. Thinking of the meeting Rosalie wondered who it was going to be with. Bella mentioned a mother but from what Rosalie had heard Bella was estranged from both her parents. It was Bella’s testimony that had sent them to jail for child abuse and fraud. Rosalie doubted that Bella would still be in contact with her mother if she went through the trouble to get her arrested. That meant Bella was talking about a different mother. Was that person a vampire and if they were who were they? Rosalie hoped it was someone that Carlisle was on good terms with but doubted it with the way Victoria spoke about the Cullens. It was to bad Rosalie didn’t get a chance to ask Bella. It seemed the human was more easy going than Victoria. Bella probably would have answered their questions. This whole situation was a mess and that wasn’t even getting into the fact that Bella was the most famous human in the world. How was Rosalie going to be with her mate if she had to keep herself hidden and why was Bella even still human if she was attached to vampires? Rosalie sighed. She would just have to wait to find out. Waiting being something she was not good at.
