“Are you sure no one is going to find his body?”Rosalie asked Rose as she watched her stuff the headless body of one of the vampire guards into a closet she, Rose and Isabella came across when sneaking into the Romanian’s stronghold. Rosalie had expected that the Romanian’s would have a castle or a grand mansion to use as their headquarters but that wasn’t the case at all. Their stronghold was actually a condemned hotel that looked like a strong wind could knock it over. When Rosalie asked about it Isabella had explained that they likely chose the spot because it had some historical significants to the Romanians. The fact they didn’t do much for the upkeep on the outside was to keep it hidden. Once inside Rosalie had seen proof of that as it was all very pristine. The decoration was likely from the days of their rule as it was filled with antiques and paintings of their glory days.

“It’s unlikely they will look in that closet but if they do it won’t matter because they won’t find his head.”Rose had hid the man’s head in the helmet of a suit of armor they had found in one of the hallways. She was trying to figure out a way to take the armor with her but she didn’t think Isabella would approve of her wearing it for the remainder of their mission.

“You aren’t taking the suit of armor with you.”Isabella easily caught on to Rose’s thoughts.

“I wasn’t going to.”Rose denied. She hated that Isabella knew her so well. It made it impossible to get away with things when her best friend was involved.

“Sure you weren’t”Isabella didn’t believe that for a second.

“Do any of you know were we are going?”Rosalie asked.

“We are looking for a heavily guarded room. They most likely renovated the original ball room and turned it into a throne room for themselves.”Isabella told them.

“You mean like that one?”Rose pointed to a pair of doors that were being guarded by 8 vampires dressed in green robes.

“Exactly like that one.”Isabella said.”Alright here’s what’s going to happen. I’m going to shield the 8 of them, then we are going to take their heads. After that we will burn their bodies and move on to the throne room.”

Rose jumped up and down and stretched out her arms.”We got this.”

“Try to be quick. We’ll need to move on before more people show up.”Isabella told them.

“No problem.”Rosalie was excited for the chance to fight again.

“On three. One, two, three.”Isabella extended her shield over the guards and had taken one of their heads before they even realized they were being attacked. Before moving on to the next she looked over to make sure Rosalie was doing alright and was impressed with the way Rosalie was using her daggers to easily dismantle the vampire she was fighting. Assured that Rosalie would be ok Isabella turned her attention to the vampire that decided to try and take her head. She easily dodged his hands and jumped on his back, grabbing him in a headlock twisted his head off.

“I would have thought if they were guarding the former kings they would have had better skills. I mean none of them even touched me.”Rose was disappointed that the vampires didn’t put up much of a fight.

“No one touched me either.”Rosalie was proud she had taken out three of the vampires by herself. Her fighting skills were definitely improving.

“Pile them up.”Isabella pulled out a lighter and lit the foot of one of the guards on fire and tossed it in the pile of bodies.

“How are we dealing with the false kings?”Rose asked.

“I’m going to break down the doors first. Rose you subdue the kings while Rosalie and myself take care of any other vampires in the room. Rosalie take the heads as a last resort because I want to question everyone and don’t want to have to wait until their head reattaches to do that.”Isabella told them.

“I can do that.”Rosalie was pleased that Isabella was trusting her to cover her back and Rosalie was going to show her that trust was well placed by doing her part to subdue the enemy.

“I’m excited to fight the kings.”Rose knew that Isabella was giving her the kings as her target because they would probably be the most skilled fighters in the room.

“You guys ready?”Isabella waited to get yeses from both of her friends before pulling her sword from it’s sheath and using her shield to blow the doors off the hinges making it fly across the room. The room became silent before screams and orders were heard. Isabella paid no attention to any of it taking the legs off the first vampire she came across.

“Well hello boys.”Rose greeted the two men wearing crowns who jumped up off of gaudy thrones.

“Who are you people?”Stephan didn’t recognize any of the women that had breached their stronghold. He didn’t think they worked for the Volturi because his spies had never mentioned a pair of identical twin vampires.

“We are the ones that are going to kill you.”Rose told him.

“You think you can kill us?!”Vladimir laughed at the very idea.

“I know we can.”Rose smiled brightly when both men attacked her. She deflected a punch from Stephan following it up with a kick to his stomach that had him crashing into the thrones leaving them broken and crushed. Vladimir wasn’t idle as he tried to attack her from behind. Rose was predicting that and simply spun around into a crouch and punched him as hard as she could in the crotch. The man crumpled to the floor screaming in pain.

“I’m going to kill you!!”Stephan charged Rose fist swinging.

“I think you should have been using the time you were exiled on training instead of plotting because you are a useless fighter.”Rose told Stephan. She kicked his knee snapping his leg in half. Once down on the ground she kicked him in the face causing his head to partially come off his body.

“I said don’t take his head.”Isabella reminded her when she and Rosalie finished dealing with the other vampires in the room. Isabella had Rosalie compel them all to stay quiet so she didn’t have to hear them scream and complain.

“It’s still attached.”Rose looked the man over.”Somewhat.”

Isabella pointed to Vladimir.”As that one isn’t going to recover anytime soon help the other one reattach his head so we can question him first.”

“Why do I have to do it?”Rose asked.

“Because you were the one who did the damage.”Isabella told her.

“I always get the grunt work.”Rose complained as she shrugged off Stephan’s weak attempts to attack her and spread her own venom on the wound to speed up the recovery.

“You always get the grunt work because you never follow instructions.”Isabella reminded her.

“Well maybe if your instructions allowed me to have more fun I would follow them.”Rose grumbled.

“Just make them not fight back and let’s get started.”Isabella didn’t want to spend a lot of time there and they had a room full of people to interrogate.

“Yeah, yeah.”Rose grabbed Stephan’s chin and forced him to make eye contact with her.”You will not fight anyone no matter what is done to you.”

Rosalie followed Rose’s example and grabbed Vladimir chin.”You will not fight anyone no matter what is done to you.”

“Good now we can begin.”Isabella said.

“Who are you people?!”Stephan asked.

“Who we are is not important. What is important is your plan to capture my very close friend Bella.”Isabella told him.

“You are here because of the human?”Stephan was suddenly very afraid. He had heard of what happened to the Volturi guards and Amun and his people. He had naively thought that he and the rest of his allies were safe because it seemed the people were after Edward. He had thought if their focus was on Edward then they would be able to kidnap the human while they were distracted. Now that they were here he wasn’t sure what to do.

“We are here because you two and your people are a bunch of scumbags.”Rose told him.

“Now this is how it’s going to go. I will ask you questions, you will answer those questions. If you don’t I will step back ad let the twins do the questioning and I promise you they won’t be as nice as I am.”Isabella didn’t expect that the kings would be very cooperative.

“You can’t threaten us. Do you know who we are!!”Vladimir was outraged these women thought they could could order them to do anything.

“You are two little boys playing dress up in your club house.”Rose said.

“You will respect your kings!!”Vladimir demanded.

Rose laughed.”You aren’t my kings. Hell you are no ones kings.”

“I’ll kill you!!”Vladimir screeched as he made a move to attack Rose. He became confused when his body didn’t move.”What have you done to me?”

“I thought the command to not move was obvious enough but then again you haven’t proven very intelligent. I made it so you can’t do anything without me telling you to do it.”Rose smiled at the look of fear that came over the man’s face. It finally seemed he understood what Stephan had already realized. They all were completely helpless.

“If you let us go we promise not to go after the human.”Stephan lied. If they were let go that was the first thing he was going to do. The human could help them shield their minds. That would most likely block the twin’s gifts.

“We aren’t here to negotiate. We are here for information.”Isabella told him.

“We will tell you whatever you want to know. Just free us from your commands.”Vladimir was thinking the same thing as Stephan. They needed to get the human as soon as possible. That would be the only way for them to be safe from the twins’ gifts.

”You think we are stupid. As soon as we let you go you would try and kill us again. Something that I wouldn’t object to personally but I know Isabella is getting very annoyed with this whole trip and wouldn’t appreciate me wasting time.”Rose knew that Isabella was close to losing her patience and nothing good happened when she did.

“Thank you from refraining Rose. Now then you first.”Isabella flipped Stephan on his back and put the tip of her sword on his bellybutton.”What are you plans to capture Bella?”

“We haven’t made any specific plans.”Stephan cried out in pain as the sword stabbed him. He had never heard of any weapon that could hurt a vampire. The fact that the trio had one made him even more afraid of what else they could do.

“Want to try to tell me the truth or do you want Rosalie to take over the questioning?”Isabella asked.

Stephan thought through his options. He didn’t have many. He figure if he told them some of the plan they could still succeed once they were free of the three women.”Our plan was to send spies to see who was protecting the girl.”

“Rosalie you take over.”Isabella could tell Stephan wasn’t giving her the full story.

“Wait no, I’m telling you the truth.”Stephan didn’t want the attention of the twins.

“Of course Isabella.”Rosalie was more than happy to take over the questioning. Pulling out her daggers Rosalie grabbed Stephan’s leg.”What were your plans to capture Bella?”

Stephan screamed out in pain when he felt his foot being sliced off of his body. He didn’t understand how they had such weapons but vowed to himself he would find out. As soon as he got the block he would hunt the three women down and make them spill all their secrets. Then he was going to force the twins to serve him and use their powers to do his bidding. He was pulled out of his plans of revenge when he felt his lower legs taken off at the knee.”Wait I’ll tell you.”

“You will tell me the truth or I will cut off something more personal next time.”Rosalie wasn’t really going to touch Stephan’s junk but the man didn’t need to know that.

“Our plan was to scout out the conditions of who and where the girl was and send a team to capture her.”Stephan held back a sigh of relief when nothing else was cut off.

“Who is that team?”Rosalie asked.

“Good question Rosalie.”Isabella was proud of Rosalie for her intuition in questioning a subject.

Rosalie stood up a little taller at the praise. She was pleased with herself for impressing Isabella. Turning her attention back to Stephan she jab one of her dagger’s into his hip.”Answer the question.”

“The team wasn’t picked yet.”Stephan screamed out in pain when his leg was sliced off at his hip joint.”I’m telling the truth!”

“I don’t think you are and because I don’t think you are I’m going to let you punish yourself.”Rosalie had enjoyed using this method on Amun and was excited for a chance to use it again.

“What are you talking about?”Stephan asked.

Rosalie ignored his question.“Who was the team that was sent out?”

“No one was picked out yet.”Stephan once again lied.

“I want you to take my dagger and slice your right hand off.”Rosalie ordered him.

“I’m not going to…”Was all Stephan got out before he took the offered dagger and sliced his hand off. He was to stunned buy his actions to register the pain.”Who are you?”

“We are your worst nightmares come alive.”Rosalie told him.”Now do you want to change your answer?”

”The team was picked by a man named Clark. He organizes all of our people and sends them out on their assignments.”Stephan was hoping that sending the trio to Clark would give give them enough time while the trio was searching him out to follow though on their pain to kidnap the human. Plus Clark was easily replaceable.

“Where can we locate Clark?”Rosalie looked to Isabella and it seemed the vampire was thinking the same thing she was. They had already had contact with Clark.

“Finland.”Stephan was confused by Rose’s laughter.

“You mean the guy we went to that gave us all the information on where to find Amun and all the other vampires you guys have recruited. That Clark?”Rose couldn’t believe that Stephan would be stupid enough to give up such an important vampire in his group. Clark knew all his allies locations. That would be the last person Rose would bring attention to.

“You know about Clark?”Stephan wondered why Clark had never mentioned anything to them. It made him wonder if Clark was a traitor.

“Of course we know about Clark. We know about everything.”Isabella told him.

“If you know about everything then why are you even questioning us? What is the purpose of all this?”Stephan asked.

“The purpose of all this is to give Rosalie the chance to lead an interrogation. She needs the practice. That and you two are horrible excuses for vampires. You deserve to be tortured before we kill you.”Isabella explained.

“You don’t need to kill us. We will give you anything you want. Riches, power, anything you could dream of.”Vladimir offered.

“You’ll give us anything we want?”Rose asked.

Vladimir nodded.”Yes anything.”

“What I want most is your head.”Rose didn’t wait for a reply before using her daggers to remove Vladimir’s head for his body.

Isabella sighed.”What did I say about taking his head?”

“You didn’t actually say anything about his head specifically.”Rose pointed out.

“This is why you get the grunt work. Now reattach his head.”Isabella should have known Rose would take a head before the were done questioning anyone.

“What the fuck?!”Stephen couldn’t believe that Rose actually took his brother’s head.

“While we are waiting for it to reattach Rose you finish interrogating him while Rosalie and I interrogate the others.”Isabella told her.

“Wait I don’t get to be involved in questioning the others?”Rose didn’t want to miss out on causing pain to the other vampires in the room.

“You being involved will depend on how fast you can get both men to tell you everything they know.”Isabella was giving Rose the task because not only would she do it quickly but she was annoyed Rose took Vladimir’s head.

“You are just punishing me for the head thing.”Rose easily picked up on Isabella’s true motive.

Isabella shrugged.”Maybe.”

“Fine but if I do this then I deserve to have a chance to properly ransack this place.”Rose said.

“You will get four hours to rummage through everything.”Isabella would allow it because Rose would complain for centuries if she missed out on the chance.”But make the questioning quick. I want to be out of here by sundown.”

Rose turned her attention to Stephan.”You and I are going to have so much fun.”

“Please don’t do this.”Stephan pleaded.

“Now, first question. Where are those riches the other guy was talking about?”Rose asked ignoring Stephan’s pleading. If she was only getting four hours she wanted to make sure she got the good stuff. She didn’t want to waste her time searching it there was a way to get right to the best loot. This mission was taking a lot longer she initially expected it to and she was starting to get a little wary. She had never been away from Emmett this long before and Rose desperately missed him. The feelings weren’t as intense as they were when Isabella was away for long periods of time but they were still there. She just hoped that everyone figure out that she had traveled with Isabella and didn’t think the pair of them were dead. Rose couldn’t imagine what they all would do if they thought that they were dead. Emmett and Tanya would probably try and kill themselves. That being something Rose definitely did not want to happen. The only thing she could do was to hurry up the mission so they could get home and once they did she prayed that everyone would forgive her for her impulsiveness of jumping on Isabella causing Rose to travel with her.
