“Are you guys excited for the new student that’s starting today?”Jessica asked Rosalie and Lauren.Jessica was driving the trio to school in her beat up 1997 Toyota Corolla.Rosalie was embarrassed to be seen in the car but it was better than having to take the bus.She would rather walk the 15 miles from her house to school than having to ride in the yellow monstrosity with underclassmen.She once again cursed her parents for being to cheep to buy her a car.They had said that if she wanted one she would have to get a job to pay for it herself.That would have cut in on cheerleading and Rosalie wasn’t willing to step down when she had finally gotten the captain spot.

“What do we know about them?”Lauren asked.

“I overheard the teachers talking about it and they said that they are a cousin of the Cullens that moved from Italy.”Rosalie told them.

“Oooh hopefully they are a boy because there is nothing sexier than a man with an accent.”Jessica was already planning on how she would introduce herself to the new student.

“We don’t know if it’s a boy.It could be a girl.”Rosalie was hoping it would be a woman.A gay woman would be even better.There weren’t that many lesbians in Forks and the ones Rosalie had seen weren’t worth taking a second look at.

“If it is a girl let’s hope she’s gay.You could finally have a girlfriend.”Lauren said.

“What’s that supposed to mean?”Rosalie didn’t like Lauren’s tone.

“Nothing just I know that you aren’t interested in anyone around here.It would be nice for you to meet someone you liked.”Lauren really meant that maybe Rosalie would get the stick out her ass if she finally got laid but she wasn’t going to say that out loud.It would be social suicide to make Rosalie angry.

“Even if they are a girl doesn’t mean I will automatically like them.”Rosalie would have to see what they were like before she put in the effort to pursue them.

“I see the Cullens but don’t see the new kid with them.”Jessica said as she pulled into the school parking lot.

“Maybe they aren’t coming.”Lauren guessed as they got out of the car to join their friends.

“Hey Jess, Rosalie, Lauren.”Mike greeted the trio when they stopped at Tyler’s van were a group of kids were already hanging out.

“Hi Mike.”Jessica replied trying her best to get Mike to look at her.She held back a sneer when he focused on Rosalie instead.His interest in Rosalie irritated Jessica because Rosalie had made it very clear that she didn’t like men.That didn’t stop the boys in the school from constantly asking her out.It was annoying and Jessica had bite her tongue many times from going off on people for it.

“You guys hear about the new kid?”Eric asked.

“Just that they are transferring from Italy and are the Cullen’s cousin.”Lauren said.

“I bet they are going to be just as stuck up as the Cullens are.”Tyler wouldn’t be surprised if the new kid refused to talk to anyone just like the Cullens did.

“You shouldn’t judge them before you meet them.”Angela hoped that they weren’t rude like the Cullens.She wanted to have the chance to talk to them about living in Italy.

“Yeah for all we know they could be extremely nice.”Ben wasn’t sure what they would be like but he would do his best to welcome them.

“Maybe if they are athletic like their cousins they will play some sports.”Mike had asked Emmett Cullen if he would play football but the boy refused no matter how many times Mike asked.

Before anyone could reply the group heard the loud engine of what sounded like a muscle car.Rosalie perked up when she saw a dark blue 1967 Shelby Super Snake.Not believing what she saw she rubbed her eyes but when they refocused there was the car she had only seen pictures of.”Holy shit.”

“What kind of car is that?”Tyler asked.

“1967 Shelby Super Snake.”Rosalie mumbled not taking her eyes off the car.

“It looks expensive.”Ben easily took Rosalie’s word for it because everyone knew about her love of cars.

“The last one that sold at auction went for 2.2 million dollars.”Rosalie told them.

“2.2 million.”Mike choked out.

”This one is probably worth more because it looks like it’s in mint condition.”Rosalie needed to see the car up close.

“It looks like the driver is getting out.”Lauren and the group watched as the driver side door opened and a tall brunette girl got out.

“Holy shit.”Rosalie exclaimed once more.The girl was gorgeous.She was about 6 ft tall with red and gold highlighted brown hair that fell in waves to the middle of her back.She was wearing tight black jeans that showed off long toned legs and a white t-shirt that clung to her ab muscles that was covered up by a black leather jacket.She completed the outfit with motorcycle boots.Rosalie willed the girl to look her way and when she did Rosalie’s breath caught in her throat when her blues met the golden color of the stranger.

“Rosalie you’re staring.”Jessica told her.

Rosalie was to mesmerized by those eyes to care that she was staring.The moment came to an end when the girl was all but tackled by Alice Cullen.Rosalie felt her jealousy flare watching as the small black haired girl climbed the new girl’s body and clung to her.”I guess that’s the cousin.”

“I got dibs.”Tyler was already making plans to ask the girl out.

“No way.I got dibs.”Mike was going to be the one to go out with the girl.

“Why don’t you pick one the cheerleaders?They are constantly drooling over you.”Tyler wasn’t going to back down for Mike.

“Why don’t you?”Mike shot back.

“Because I called dibs first.”Tyler told him.

“She isn’t a piece of meat!”Rosalie yelled in frustration.She blushed when she noticed that she had gotten the attention of everyone in the parking lot including the girl in question.Lowering her voice she spoke again.”The girl isn’t an object you get to put your claim on.She a human being who can make her own choices.”

“You just want her for yourself.”Mike knew that Rosalie was making her own plans to talk to the girl.

“What I want is none of your business.”Rosalie did want to talk to the girl and didn’t like the fact that the boys were interested as well.She would never admit it to them though.”Just be respectful.The last thing any of us needs is for the Cullens to get pissed off at us.”

“Yeah I don’t want watch one of you be beaten up by Emmett.”Ben said.

“I’m going to be the perfect gentlemen.The girl will be so impressed with me that we will be officially dating by the end of the day.”Tyler told them.

“No way.She will be dating me.”Mike wasn’t worried about Tyler.Tyler was just a nerd.Mike was the captain of the Football team.Any girl would chose him.

“You guys are idiots.”Rosalie huffed and marched her way towards the school stealing one last look at the new girl.She stumbled when the girl looked her way and smiled at her.

“Don’t worry about those guys Rosalie.You know as well we do that they are going to make fools of themselves.”Jessica was positive that the new girl wouldn’t give either boy a second look.She was way out of their league.

“I’m not worried about them.”Rosalie really wasn’t.Well maybe a little bit.Mike was the most eligible bachelor after Emmett and the new girl was related to him.That left Mike as the prime candidate to date.

“See you at lunch.”Lauren said as the bell rang and she slipped off from the group and headed to her class.

“See you.”Jessica replied.

“Make sure that Mike and Tyler sit far away from me.”Rosalie told Jessica.

“I promise.”Jessica could tell Rosalie was in a mood and would do what she could to stop it from escalating.

“See you at lunch.”Rosalie made her way to her first class hoping that the new girl would be in it.If not then one of the rest of the ones she had that day.

Rosalie’s wish to have the girl as a classmate didn’t come true and by the time lunch rolled around Rosalie was ready to kill most of the students in her school.The main topic all day was the new girl and Rosalie was disgusted by what people were saying about her.She had gone off on a pair of sophomores that were standing near her locker in between classes going into detail of all the things they wanted to do to the girl.Slumping down in her seat at the lunch table she felt grateful that Jessica had arranged everyone so Mike and Tyler were at the other end of the table.

“Did anyone have any classes with her?”Lauren asked.

“I did and her name is Isabella Denali.”Angela said.

“What is she like?”Jessica asked.

“She has a very thick accent that is a mixture of Italian and something else.I couldn’t recognize it.”Angela told them.

“Did you talk to her?”Rosalie wondered if the accent was as sexy as the girl.Though she wouldn’t admit it she thought accents were just as sexy as Jessica did.

Angela shook her head.”No but a few people tried.She was polite but brushed off all their attempts at getting information out of her.”

“Did anyone ask her out?”Mike hadn’t gotten his chance yet and wanted to know who his competition was.

“I heard Ron Temple ask her to hang out after school but she told him she wasn’t interested.”Angela had thought Isabella was very nice when she turned him down.The other Cullens were a lot ruder when they were asked.

“So Ron is out of the running then.”Tyler was feeling good about his chances.He was a much better catch than Ron was.

“Here come the Cullens.”Lauren said.

Rosalie watched in interest as the normally serious looking Cullens were all smiling and laughing with each other.It was a very unusual sight as she couldn’t remember seeing any of the Cullens smile before.She didn’t understand Isabella’s relationship with Alice.The black haired girl was hanging off Isabella’s arm in a manner Rosalie had only ever seen her do with her boyfriend Jasper.Rosalie wondered if Alice was dating both of them as it wasn’t unheard of for the Cullens to date family members.

“God she is so hot.”Mike mumbled as he stared at Isabella.

“I think I’m going to go introduce myself.”Tyler said.

Rosalie did not like the idea of Tyler doing that.”She’s eating lunch you should leave her alone.”

“No this is the perfect chance for me to make my move.”Tyler stood from his seat and ran a hand through his hair to tame it.”Wish me luck.”

“I can’t believe he is actually doing it.”Lauren wouldn’t have thought Tyler had the guts to go to the Cullen’s lunch table.

“They don’t look very happy to see him.”Rosalie along with the group watched as Tyler put on what he probably thought was a charming smile and walked up to the Cullens.Rosalie couldn’t hear what he was saying but whatever it was it was pissing off the bronze haired boy Edward.When Isabella began to speak Tyler’s smile fell and he began blushing so bad that even his neck was red.Rosalie and her friends all jumped when Emmett slammed his hand on the table and pointed behind Tyler.Tyler took that moment to flee from the table.

“What happened?”Jessica asked when Tyler retook his seat.

“I introduced my myself and asked her if she wanted me to show her around town after school.”Tyler told them.

“What was her reply?”Rosalie wanted to know what made Tyler look so flustered.

“She told me that even if I was the last man on earth she wouldn’t spend a minute alone with me and she knew that I along with many other boys in school have been placing bets and trying to claim her so that they can be the first one to get in her pants.”Tyler said.

“What did you say?”Lauren asked.

“I tried to deny it then Emmett repeated a conversation I had with Will in trig about how we thought Isabella would be in bed.He then proceeded to threaten severe bodily harm if I didn’t stay away from Isabella and keep my friends away from her as well.”Tyler still didn’t know how Emmett had known about the conversation and was planning on yelling at Will later for repeating it to someone else.

“Jesus.”Rosalie was very impressed with the way the Cullens handled this one.She doubted it would stop other boys from approaching Isabella but it would definitely make them think twice about it.

“I’m still going to ask her out.”Mike wasn’t deterred.He was the most popular guy at school. Isabella would want to date him.He was sure of it.

“After all that you are still going to try?”Angela was surprised that Mike thought he would have a chance.

Mike shrugged.”I just think she is picky.Plus I’m the most eligible bachelor in school.Isabella will be falling all over me when I introduce myself.”

“You are a fool if you think so.”Tyler didn’t think Mike would even make it past saying his name before he was shot down.

“I’ll guess you will just have to wait and see.”Mike wasn’t worried.

“Let’s get to class.”Rosalie said when the bell rang signaling the end of lunch.Following her friends out of the cafeteria she wondered if Tyler and the other boys at school didn’t catch Isabella’s eye who would.Rosalie hoped that she would be able to at least talk to Isabella.Maybe if they had some classes together she would get her chance.If not then she would try to catch her in parking lot.Not only would it be a chance to talk to her but she could ask about her car while she was at it.
