“If you don’t want to do this one of us will do it for you.”Bella said.Rosalie appreciated the offer but this was something she needed to do by herself.Rosalie, Bella, Victoria, the sisters and the queens were all in the throne room waiting for Emmett to be brought up from the dungeon.After spending some time thinking about and discussing what Emmett had done Rosalie decided to kill him a soon as possible.That way she wouldn’t loose her nerve.She had never killed someone before and wasn’t looking forward to taking a life.Rosalie wasn’t going to hesitate killing Emmett though.Her former brother was disgusting and didn’t deserve to live for all the things he was involved with.Forcing Rosalie in a false mate bond was despicable.That and him wanting to kill Bella.That gave Rosalie more than enough justifiable reasons to kill him.

“My beast wouldn’t be satisfied if anyone else did it.”Rosalie told her.

“We can still get a few shots in ourselves right?”Kate didn’t want to miss the chance to beat on one of the Cullens.

“I just want the killing blow.”Rosalie didn’t care what was done to Emmett.She just wanted him dead.

“Yes!!”Kate cheered.

“Your majesties I present Emmett of the Cullen coven.”A guard announced as he led two other guards who were restraining Emmett into the throne room.

“Emmett Cullen you are here to receive your punishment for your crimes.”Sulpicia was very pleased that Rosalie hadn’t changed her mind about being the one to kill the boy.It would prove to others that she wouldn’t hesitate to kill anyone who stood against her.That would make other vampires respect Rosalie more and Sulpicia knew that after being a part of Carlisle’s coven Rosalie would need to prove herself many times over to shake off her former coven’s reputation.

“I have committed no crimes.”Emmett replied.He wasn’t scared of the queens.They wouldn’t be able to do anything to him.Carlisle’s allies wouldn’t let them.

“You have committed the crimes of treason, facilitating two false mate bonds, trying to kidnap the Volturi Princess Consort and the most damning crime of all trying to kill the Volturi princess.”Didyme listed off.

“I have done no such thing.I was simply returning Edward’s mate to him and freeing my own.”Emmett took a step back when most of the vampires in the growled at him.

Athenodora moved to attack him but was held back by Sulpicia’s hand on her arm.”Let me go.”

“I’m sorry my love but Rosalie is in control of this punishment.”Sulpicia knew that Rosalie would give whoever wanted a chance.They first had to do everything by the law.

Emmett held back a smirk hearing that.Rosalie wouldn’t allow anyone to hurt him.She loved him too much to let anyone touch him.”As for the other crimes what proof do you have that I committed them?”

“I saw them all in your memories.”Sulpicia told them.

“You dare claim Aro’s gift as your own.”Emmett scoffed at the very idea that Sulpicia had Aro’s gift.

“It was Aro who claimed to have my gift not the other way around.”Sulpicia corrected.

“Aro would never lie about something so important.”Emmett was sure if Aro didn’t have a gift Carlisle would have known.

“Not only Aro but the other two kings lied about a great many things.Those lies were the reason we killed them.”Athenodora and her mates weren’t the ones who delivered the killing blow as the sire bond prevented it but they orchestrated the whole rebellion right under the kings’ nose.It was Athenodora’s greatest regrets that she hadn’t gotten to witness Heidi, Corin and Dimitri kill the kings.Killing Chelsea had been satisfying though.

“No you killed them because you are sadistic bitches who care so much about having power that you killed your own mates to get it.”It was well known that the queens killed their mates to take the thrones.It was just proof to Emmett of how ruthless and dishonorable the three of them were.

“Is that what Carlisle told you?”Didyme asked.

“Out of anyone he would know.They were his best friends.The only reason Carlisle wasn’t a king himself was because he wanted a peaceful life.”Emmett said.

Athenodora laughed.”Carlisle thought that the kings would have offered him a place amongst them?”

“They had begged him to many times but he always declined.”Emmett told them.

”You idiot the kings thought Carlisle was a fool.They merely kept him around because he amused them.All three of us heard their many conversations about how weak and useless Carlisle was.”It was one of the few things that Sulpicia agreed with the kings about.

“You lie!!”Emmett was highly offended that the queen would say such a thing.

“Why are we wasting our time speaking to him?He is too stupid to see the truth even when it’s right in front of him.”Didyme was getting bored with this whole situation.She wanted it done so she could spend some time with her daughter.

“You are right my love.Emmett Cullen you have been found guilty of your crimes.You are herby sentenced to death.”Sulpicia told him.

“You can’t do that.I have done nothing wrong!!”Emmett knew that at any minute Carlisle’s allies were going to act.He just wanted to give them some more time to get in place.

”Rosalie how do you want to do this?”Athenodora asked.

Emmett once again held back a smirk.If Rosalie was in charge there was no way they were going to kill him.If he played it right not only could he make her spare him but he would able to get her out of the castle.Then he would get his prize.”Rosalie don’t do this.I have always been there for you.I love you more than anything.”

“You love me?”Rosalie didn’t believe that for a second.

“With all my heart.I only want you to be happy and safe.”Emmett was laying it on thick but it seemed Rosalie was at least listening to him.

“No you only want me to be safe and happy with you.”Rosalie corrected.

“I’m the only one who has your best interest at heart.Look at what Bella has forced you to do.You have gone against our family, your sire and run into the arms of a woman.Not only that you are now aligned with the usurpers.Is this really the life you want.At least if you were with me you wouldn’t have to worry about anyone targeting you.I could keep you safe.We would be perfect together just like we always were.”Emmett thought it was good sign Rosalie didn’t interrupt him.

“You have my best interest at heart?”Rosalie asked.

Emmett nodded.”I always have.It was me who protected you against James.Bella on the other hand has handed you over to his mate.It’s only a matter of time before she kills you in revenge of us killing James.”

“James wasn’t my mate you moron.”Victoria told him.

“See Rosalie this just more proof that you are being brainwashed.First the queens deny their real mates then Bella denies hers, now Victoria is doing the same.It isn’t a coincidence that you feel you have a mate bond with Bella.It was the queens’ plan the whole time.They knew how powerful Bella was going to be and forced false bonds on all of you to get control of her.I bet they even lied about Chelsea being killed.”Emmett was sure of it.Edward had confirmed that Victoria and James were a mated couple. Now that she was denying it it was proof that Edward’s theory someone was messing their bonds being true.

“Can I rip his tongue out so we don’t have to listen to this nonsense?”Victoria asked.

“No but you have my full permission to beat on him a little before I kill him.”Rosalie was going to make it quick as a way of paying Emmett back for the little bit of actual support he gave even if it was under false pretense but hearing him speaking badly of the queens,Bella and Victoria pissed her off to the point she wanted him to suffer.

“Anyone else want in?”Victoria wasn’t going to be selfish.

“I do.”Kate happily volunteered.

“I’m good.”Bella would like to but knew that even though Rosalie approved of it she would still be effected by seeing Emmett hurt.That being the case Bella wanted to be with her to support her.

“We are going to pass.”Tanya spoke for both her and Irina.She wasn’t interested in Emmett.He was a lackey who just blindly followed Carlisle.Tanya wouldn’t pass up on getting a chance to beat on the other five but Emmett wasn’t worth the effort.

“I would like to show my displeasure.”Didyme volunteered.

“You are going to be involved in the punishment?”Sulpicia hadn’t expected that.In all the time Sulpicia had known Didyme she had never raised a hand to anyone.

“He wanted to capture and kill our daughter and force her mate into a false mate bond.”Didyme was furious at Emmett’s actions and even if he hadn’t targeted Bella she would have gotten involved because of what he wanted for Rosalie.The queen may not have a familiar bond with the young vampire but she was Bella’s mate.Didyme would give her life to protect not only Bella but Rosalie and Victoria as well because Bella would never be happy without either one of them.

“Then I am going to pass on this punishment.The boy isn’t that strong and will likely crumble quickly.That being the case it wouldn’t be that much fun for to many of us to be involved.”Athenodora would have liked to beat on Emmett but would happily give her place to Didyme.Her love deserved the chance to work through her anger.

“How about you make this a fair fight and release me.”Emmett wasn’t worried about fighting Victoria, Kate and Didyme.Not only were they just a bunch of women Carlisle’s allies would stop anything from going to far.

“Release him.”Sulpicia ordered the guards.She had expected Emmett to try and escape but he just stood there not even getting into a defensive position.

“I wish I could kill you.”Victoria said as she punched Emmett in the face causing him to fly across the room and slam into a wall.

Kate was on Emmett before he even had the chance to get up.She turned her gift up to the highest level it would go and sent continuous shockwaves throughout his body.His screaming and begging made her laugh.”Not so tough now are you?”

“Could you please stop so I can have my turn?”Didyme asked.

“Of course.”Kate gave him a couple more jolts before stepping away.

“You cowards think you can best me?”Emmett rallied his strength and stood with support from the wall.He looked around the room trying to find which one of the guards was aligned with Carlisle.He didn’t understand why they hadn’t stepped in yet.Carlisle had promised him that they would protect him but they hadn’t made a move.

“Says the man who can’t get a woman to willingly date him without mind control.”Victoria replied causing Emmett to growl.

“Rosalie will be mine.”Emmett roared as he rushed Victoria only to be met with a fist to the stomach by Didyme.The queen held him by the shoulder and kept him place as she ripped his arm off.Through the overwhelming pain Emmett’s anger was flaring.Looking around the room he screamed.”Now is the time to act!!”

“What are you talking about?”Kate asked.

“I believe Emmett thinks that Carlisle’s allies are going to come to his rescue.”Sulpicia had seen the many reassurances Carlisle gave Emmett that he would be saved if something happened when she went through Emmett’s memories.

Victoria laughed.”You fool.Carlisle isn’t going to save you.He knew that coming here was a suicide mission because even if you got Rosalie out there was no way you were getting out of here alive.If by some chance you did get free he would have never given you Rosalie.She’s to valuable to waste on you.”

“Carlisle will save me!!”Emmett knew his sire wouldn’t sacrifice him.He was too important to the cause to be thrown away.

“You poor fool.”Didyme almost felt bad for Emmett.Not bad enough that she was going to spare him however.Taking another arm off she took great pleasure in hearing his screams.

Kate rip one his legs off while Victoria took the other.She then lifted his torso so he was eye level with her.”Do you still think he is going to save you?”

“You won’t get away with this.”Emmett wasn’t going to give up hope yet.He knew Carlisle had a plan.He just had to stick it out as long as he could.

“We already have.”Victoria said.

“Rosalie would you like the honor?”Didyme took Emmett from Kate and handed him to Rosalie.

“Rosalie don’t do this.I love you.”Emmett pleaded.

Rosalie shook her head sadly.”I know you actually believe that.”

“Because it’s true.”Emmett just knew Rosalie wouldn’t kill him.

“I want to say I’m sorry Emmett but after learning your plans for not only me but my mate I have no remorse of what I’m about to do.”Rosalie didn’t even give Emmett a chance to reply before she ripped his head off and threw it and his torso to ground.She immediately rushed into Bella’s arms and began sobbing.

“Shh it’s alright.You did the right thing.”Bella tightened her arms around Rosalie and rocked her slowly as she sobbed.

“Burn his body.”Sulpicia ordered the guards.One of the gathered Emmett’s pieces while another pulled out a lighter and lit it on fire.The throne room was quiet except for Rosalie’s sobs as everyone watched the pile turn to ash.

Once there was nothing left but a pile of ash Athenodora spoke.”Why doesn’t Bella take Rosalie and Victoria back to their rooms so they can have some privacy.”

“Good idea.”Victoria would like for the trio to be alone for Rosalie to grieve in private.That and they had been constantly in the presence of others since they arrived in Alaska only getting a few days to explore the physical aspect of their bond.The needed a chance to explore the emotional aspect as well.

“If you need anything let us know and we will do what we can to help.”Tanya offered cutting off Kate before she invited herself to go with the trio.Tanya also didn’t want to be away from them but they needed some privacy to deal with the heightened emotions.

“We will.”Bella readjusted her hold on Rosalie and followed Victoria out of the throne room.

“The rest of you are dismissed.”Sulpicia told the guards.She waited until they all left before speaking.”I hope that Rosalie will be ok.”

“She’s stronger than she realizes.”Athenodora said.

“That and she has Bella and Victoria to help her get through this.”Irina knew that Rosalie would be alright.

“I don’t get why she was so upset.I mean Emmett was going to do horrible things to her and Bella.”Kate would have thought Rosalie would be happy about killing him.

“She isn’t upset about killing him she is mourning the man she had always thought he was.Rosalie has only know about the betrayal for half a day.It will take a while for her come to terms with it.”Athenodora wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t see the triad for a few days.

“I just hope she doesn’t react the same way with the other Cullens.”Kate said.

“She won’t.Her hatred of the other five burns hot.If anything she will be more brutal than the rest of us when dealing with the punishments.”Tanya figured that Rosalie had been planning ways to torture and kill most of the coven since she was turned.

“I just hate that we won’t get to see Bella until she feels better.”Didyme wanted to spend time with her daughter but Bella was needed by her mate.

“That doesn’t mean we can’t plan what we are going to do when they come out of hiding.”Kate was already going thought a list of things she wanted to do with Bella.

“True and with that thought I’m going to go talk to the guards.We need to start Bella’s training soon.”Athenodora said.

“We are going to go work on our rooms.”Tanya wanted a chance to check in with her sisters and Carmen and Eleazar.They hadn’t talked much since they came to the castle and she wanted to make sure everyone was doing ok.

“We will send a guard if we need you for anything.”Sulpicia told them leading her mates out of the room through the doorway leading to the royal chambers.She wanted to organize everything with her mates before they went forward with any plans.She was also wanting to check in with the guards that went after the Cullens.A few of them should have reached a couple of the locations already.They also needed to check in with Jane to see how she was doing with the newborn problem she was sent to deal with.The queens credited that situation to Carlisle.It was obvious the man was using it as a diversion to draw the most powerful guard members out of the castle.Sulpicia sighed as she finished going through her list.She hated that they had to deal with this whole mess.All she wanted to do was spend time with her daughter and get to know her better.She hadn’t even gotten the chance to have a conversation with Bella that didn’t have to do with Carlisle’s plans.It did guarantee that once the Cullens and their allies were caught that their punishment would be severe.There was no way the queen or her mates were going to have mercy on anyone who thought they could take Bella away from them.Sulpicia would kill every vampire in existence if it meant that Bella would be safe.It was mother’s duty to take care of their child after all.
