“So this is where I live.You can make yourself comfortable and look around if you want while I go get Narcissa and rescue Sirius.”Hermione told Bellatrix.She ushered the woman into her living room wanting to get on her way before the Dark Lord figured out something was wrong.She figured with the chaos of what happened at the ministry all of his followers were going to be either hiding from the man’s anger or being tortured for their comrades’ failure.It was the perfect time to infiltrate their strong hold and get Narcissa.Since Sirius was there Hermione might as well get the man child while she was at it.

“You are going to rescue Sirius?”Bellatrix asked in disbelief.

“Well he is at Malfoy manor with Narcissa so it’s just convenient to grab him while I’m there.”Hermione said.

“How do you know where he is?”Bellatrix thought the fact that the Dark Lord was at Malfoy manor was a secret.

“I know things.One of those things is where snake face likes to hang out.”Hermione had been following the Dark Lord’s movements since it was confirmed he was back.It was always smart to know what was going on in the world so you don’t get caught up in something you didn’t want to be.

“He would be very unhappy to know that someone on the light side knew where his headquarters was.”Bellatrix said.

“I’m not on the light side.”Hermione was never going to claim to be associated with those idiot’s cause.

“If you aren’t on the side of the light what side are you on?”Bellatrix asked.

“I was on my side but now that you are here I’m on our side.”Hermione told her.

“I like that.”Bellatrix liked that she and Hermione had their own side.

“Now as I was saying.Fell free to look around.Also beware of my cat.Crookshanks is a little bastard and will do all he can to lure you into a false sense of security before he attacks you.If you’re lucky he will leave you alone.”Hermione loved her cat and his attitude.It fit hers perfectly.

Bellatrix looked around in alarm.”Will he actually hurt me?”

“Who know with Crooks.He could fall in love with you and decide you are the perfect cuddle partner.He’s unpredictable like that.”Hermione told her.

“Ok.”Bellatrix would keep her guard up until she was introduced to the cat.

“With that said.I’ll be back.”Hermione didn’t wait for a reply as she focused her magic on Narcissa Malfoy and teleported to the woman’s location.

“What the hell?”Narcissa pulled out her wand and pointed it at the intruder who randomly appeared in her bedroom.

Hermione held up her hands in defense.”I’m not here to harm you.Bellatrix sent me to get you.”

“Bella sent you?”Narcissa asked suspiciously.

“Yes, I’m the realms walker.”Hermione figured telling Narcissa about the prophecy would gain her trust.

Narcissa lowered her wand.”I assume Bella isn’t one of the many morons that were caught at the ministry then?”

“No she’s at my home right now and asked if you could join us as she didn’t think it was safe for you to stay here.”Hermione explained.

“Thank god.”Narcissa let out a sigh of relief.She had known that the prophecy would happen that night and had been worried sick when there was no word from her sister.

“Yeah so anyway.I need to send you to my place so I can rescue Sirius.”Hermione told her.

“You’re going to rescue Sirius?”Narcissa looked Hermione over skeptically.”By yourself?”

“Of course and to do that you need to go.” Hermione wanted to get this over with because she would have to bring Sirius to his house once she got him.

“How am I going to get there.The house is warded to prevent people from leaving.”Narcissa didn’t think that there was a safe way to escape without fighting their way out.

“I suppose you are just going to have to trust me.”Before Narcissa could reply Hermione waved her hand over the woman calling out before she disappeared.”Watch out for my cat.”

“Wha..”Was all Narcissa got out before she was gone from the room.

“Alright now that that’s done.Let’s find that idiot.”Hermione took a deep breath and let it out before focusing on Sirius.As she appeared in front of him in his cell she shook her head at the cowering man.

“Please don’t hurt me.I told you all I knew.”Sirius said from his spot on the floor curled up in the fetal position crying his eyes out.

“At least you aren’t trusted enough with vital information.”Hermione grumbled as she put her hand on Sirius and teleported both of them to Sirius’ living room.Once again she was met with every wand in the room pointed at her.”For fucks sake can’t you guys greet me with a little bit of respect.”

“Hermione!!”Ginny rushed to her friend and gave her a hug.”We thought the worst when you didn’t show back up.”

“Well I had to rescue this blubbering fool so you wouldn’t pull me into some other stupid trap.”Hermione threw Sirius to the floor and kicked him.”Get up you idiot you’re safe.”

“Hermione don’t kick him.”Harry scolded his friend.He walked over to Sirius and pulled him to the couch.

“How did you get him?”Ron asked.

“Sorry it wouldn’t do for the magician to reveal how their tricks work.Then the public would stop paying to see the show.”Hermione told him.She smirked at the angry faces of Moody and Molly.

“What I want to know is where is Bellatrix LaStrange?”Moody asked.

“Who?”Hermione asked in fake confusion.

“Don’t you play dumb with us little girl.We know that you had the opportunity to capture her but let her go.”Molly’s face was contorted with rage.”You had to or you would have brought her here for us to question.”

“You truly believe that I am strong enough to overpower Bellatrix LaStrange?Me?The person you take every chance you get to tell me how weak and pathetic I am.I mean that would be giving me more credit than you usual would.”Hermione wasn’t going to tell them anything about Bellatrix.It was of note that Andromeda was no longer there.Hermione figured that she would find the woman at her home when she returned.

“You little…”Moody pulled out his wand and pointed it at Hermione and called out.”Stupefy!”

Hermione didn’t bother going through the motions of pretending she needed a wand to protect herself and just stood there and let the spell bounce off of her.She laughed at the incredulous looks all the occupants of the room including her friends were giving her.”You really think that you would be able to hurt me?”

“Moody enough.”Harry wasn’t sure how Hermione did it but the way she deflected the spell did confirm his suspicions that Hermione was a lot more powerful than any of them knew.

“How did you do that?”Bill Weasley asked.

Hermione rolled her eyes at the man.It seemed that he forgot the many times he had attacked her and now he trusted her enough to show him a new trick.”I used magic.”

“You know that isn’t want I meant.”Bill said.

“Anyway.”Hermione was sick of being in the room with these people.Pulling the real prophecy out of her satchel she handed it to Harry.”I figured you would want this.”

“Thank you.”Harry was pleased that Hermione was able to keep it safe.

“Too bad we didn’t get the fake one to the Death Eaters.”Ron mused.

“It’s not like we won’t have other chances to spread misinformation.”Ginny said.

“With that I’m going to leave.”Hermione pulled out her wand and before she preformed the spell reminded Harry.”Don’t come to me for nonsense like this again Harry.I don’t want to be a part of it.”

“But Hermione we need you.”Harry pleaded.

“I don’t think your friends think so.”With that Hermione made over exaggerated movements with her arm and teleported back to her home.She set herself outside the property because she wanted to update and reinforce some of her wards before she went inside.It wouldn’t do to be lazy when she was now protecting one of the most wanted women in the wizarding world.Bellatrix was equally wanted by the Order and the Dark Lord and Hermione was going to fight tooth and nail to make sure that the woman was never caught.
