“How are you feeling?”Rosalie asked Bella.The pair of them had been escorted to a bedroom by the queens.After they had left Bella had climbed into bed and held the blanket up for a very willing Rosalie to join her.She had immediately taken the human into her arms and held her close.The signs of exhaustion were obvious and Rosalie was worried that Bella was going have negative side effects due to the stress she was under. Not only the physical stress but the emotional stress from all the revelations they had been told from the queens.

“I am carrying the baby of a man I just found out manipulated my entire life since I moved to Forks.Not only that your entire family was in on it and kept not only me from my true mate but you to.Not only that they forced you into a false mate bond as well.My world is falling apart and the only thing that is keeping me from breaking completely is having you here with me.”Bella told her.

Rosalie tightened her hold on Bella being careful not to hurt her.”I want to say it’s going to be ok but I can’t.All I can tell you is I promise that I will be by your side through all of this.”

“Are you feeling our bond yet?”Bella asked.

“It feels a lot stronger than it did when I saw you at the airport.”Rosalie didn’t think that the bond was completely in place but her feelings for Bella were almost as strong as what she used to feel for Emmett.

“I feel guilty I was ever afraid of you.”Now that Bella could feel the bond she felt horrible that she feared Rosalie.

“You have nothing to feel guilty about.”Rosalie cut Bella off before she could protest.”Those feelings were artificial.You were made to feel them.Are you afraid of me now?”

Bella shook her head.”It sounds dramatic but I feel if you stopped touching me I would die.”

“I feel the same.”Even thinking about being away from Bella caused Rosalie to panic.

“Do you think it will continue to get more intense?”Bella wasn’t sure she could handle it if it did.

“I don’t know.We could ask Didyme when we see her later.”Rosalie suggested.

“That’s another thing to think about.How do you feel about finding out about the familiar bond?”Bella asked.

“I don’t know what I feel about it.I’ve been told about the queens from Carlisle and what he said wasn’t flattering at all.”Rosalie had been told how ruthless they were and how badly they treated their subjects.

“That’s not surprising.Carlisle doesn’t respect women.The fact that he forced both of us into false mate bonds is proof of that.”Bella said.

“He doesn’t approve of their relationship either.He has made many comments about how unnatural it is that not only are they a triad but that they are all women.”Rosalie told her.

“Based on how he lived his human life that makes perfect sense.I mean he was training under his father to be a priest.I doubt that back then homosexuality was accepted.It still isn’t accepted by everyone.”Bella knew Carlisle would never change his way of thinking.He was too stubborn to admit he was wrong.

“He does pride himself on how he has kept a close relationship with god by keeping his humanity. The thing he is most proud of is never drinking human blood.”It annoyed Rosalie how righteous Carlisle thought he was because he had never given into his vampire urges.

“I was told you never did either.”Bella hadn’t believed it at the time.

“Carlisle uses it as an example of how his venom is able to sire a vampire that could easily fight their natural instincts.”Rosalie was still bitter about the fact that Carlisle claimed her achievements as his own.

”That obviously isn’t true as I know that Edward, Esme and Emmett have all drank human blood.Heck Edward bragged about it on many occasions.I never believed that he only chose just criminals to kill though.”Even with Edward’s gift Bella didn’t think everyone he killed was actually guilty of a crime.

”I’m sure he picked people he thought were living in sin.Not ones who actually committed crimes.”Rosalie was of the same thought as Bella.She didn’t think Edward just picked criminals.

“What do you think the queens are going to do to them?”Bella wondered what the queens would do to Cullens.

“Just claiming a false mate bond is a very serious crime.The fact that they not only claimed two but forced both of us into one while keeping us apart will most likely led to a death sentence.”Rosalie told her.

“Is it wrong to be happy for that to be their punishment?”Bella asked.

“If it is then we will be wrong together.”Rosalie wanted them to die as well for what they did to her and Bella.

“How are they going to get them to come to the castle?”Bella didn’t think the Cullens would come willingly.

“They usually send a summons but since they will likely know what it’s for I think the queens will send the guard to get them.”At least that’s what Rosalie would do.

“They will know where we are then.”Bella worried about what would happen when they got to the castle.

Rosalie easily picked up on Bella’s concerns.”They won’t be able to influence us anymore.Not only will I not let the but the queens definitely won’t.”

“Why do you think that Edward and Jasper’s gifts stopped working on us?”Bella hadn’t really given it much thought at the time.

“Alice’s doesn’t work either.She stopped having visions of you on the island.She didn’t know you were pregnant until Edward called her.”Rosalie didn’t have to put in too much effort to pretend she hadn’t known.It was easy to act outraged because she really had been at the time.

“Do you think the baby is affecting my gift somehow?”Bella couldn’t think of anything else that would be the cause.

“If it is they have a gift as well.”Rosalie said.

“It makes sense that both Edward and I do for the baby to have one.”Bella thought they would based on their genetics.

“It will be interesting to find out what it would be because your and Edward’s gifts are the complete opposite of each other.”Rosalie wondered what exactly it would be.

“I hope it’s nothing dangerous.I don’t know about you but I don’t want to deal with a child with vampire abilities that has no control of their gift.”Bella could already imagine what would happen if the child threw a tantrum.They would destroy half the castle if their gift was destructive.

“I didn’t even think of that.”Rosalie wasn’t sure how they would the able to contain a toddler with that kind of ability.”Luckily the castle is full of vampires with gifts that should be able to help out.”

“Can we trust random vampires with our child?”Bella asked.

Rosalie’s breath caught.”Our child?”

“I’m sorry I shouldn’t have assumed you would want to raise a child that wasn’t your own.”Bella didn’t even think that Rosalie wouldn’t want to raise the baby with her as being a possibility.

“No I do.I guess I hadn’t really thought through the logistics of us being mated and you being pregnant.”Rosalie explained.

Bella propped herself up on her elbow to look at Rosalie.”So you would be willing to take on the role as this child’s other parent?”

“Of course I would.”Rosalie tried to blink away the venom tears filling her eyes trying to hide how emotional she was.

“Why are you crying?I mean I don’t want to force you.If you don’t want to we can figure something out..”Bella’s ramblings were cut off by a pair of lips pressed against her.She froze in surprise for a second before returning the kiss only breaking apart when she needed to breathe.

“Was that alright?”Rosalie asked.She smiled when instead of replying Bella kissed her again.

“It was more than alright.”Bella was very happy with the kiss.It was something she wanted to do ever since she saw Rosalie in the airport.Reaching up she wiped at Rosalie’s still glassy eyes.”Why are you upset?”

“I’m not upset.I’m happy.”Rosalie told her.”I have always wanted to have a child.Even when I was human.It was one of the reasons I was so angry that Carlisle turned me.I thought my dream of having a family of my own was never going to happen but you just gave me the opportunity to have what I always wanted.A chance to have my own family.”

“I’m glad that out of this horrible situation that we can find home kind of joy.”Bella found the idea of raising a child with Rosalie exciting.

“I think being mated to you and having a family of our own will bring us both a lot of happiness.”Rosalie was looking forward to a future with Bella by her side.

Bella yawned.”I think so too.”

“Why don’t you lay back down and try to get some sleep.”Rosalie suggested.

“I think I will.”Bella was very tired.

Rosalie reached over and turned the light next to the bed off.”I’ll be here the whole time keeping you safe.”

“Thank you.”Bella replied.

“No problem.”Rosalie smiled when Bella snuggled closer to her.Human Rosalie would have never believed that her life would have ended up like this.Not even thinking about the vampire aspect but the fact that she was in a relationship with a woman and together they were gong to raise a child.She was still trying to wrap her head around it.She had thought she was a straight women who was mated to Emmett only to find out that she was mated to a woman.Rosalie never really thought about her own sexuality.Then again she really didn’t have a reason to.When she was human she was expected to marry a man.Love and attraction weren’t factors in that.Then when she was turned she was to angry at what had happened to her to care about relationships until she saved Emmett and they got together.Now she knew that all those feelings were fake.Rosalie stopped herself from thinking about all the times that Emmett had taken advantage of their false bond.It would be something she needed to work through but she didn’t want to deal with it right then.What she wanted to do was revel in the feelings of being with Bella and getting the family she always wanted.She would deal with everything later for now she deserved a moment of happiness.
