“I knew you would come for me but I didn’t expect to have to wait so long.”Bella grunted as her body was slammed against a wall by a hand around her throat.She had gone to the Bahamas with her sisters to set up their lives.After they had their house built and Bella deemed them safe she had traveled back to Italy to deal with some loose ends.One of those loose ends being the very unhappy vampire that looked like they were going to rip Bella’s head off.Bella tried to pry the hand off of her but it just made the vampire squeeze harder.

“I had to make sure my sisters were safe first.”Bella choked out.She sighed in relief when the hand loosened.

“I know that but I still hated waiting.”The vampire replied.

“Well I’m here now and am not leaving without you.”Bella smiled when the vampire kissed her.”I would never let my mate suffer a minute longer with Caius than they had to.”

“In my heart I knew that but I have lived the life of a prisoner so long it’s hard to have faith things will turn out good.”The vampire said.

“Dora my love, you are free now.We are free now.The only thing left to do is deal with Caius.”Bella told Athenodora.

”I have been planning so many ways to to kill that man now that I have the chance I can’t decide how to do it.”Athenodora had wanted her revenge on the king ever since he turned her and forced her to act as his mate.The man was to stupid to have Chelsea create a false mate bond so even though Athenodora played the role of queen it was all for show.Caius was disgusted by women and preferred men but his own homophobia prevented him from acting on it.

“I would like the chance myself but I will not take it away from you.You were wronged the most by him.”Bella would love to kill him but her beloved earned the right long before Bella came along.”Do you have everything you need to leave?”

“It’s all packed I just have to grab the bags.”Athenodora had packed everything she wanted to bring with her as soon as word came that Bella was free.She knew her mate would be coming for her and wanted to be ready so they could leave quickly.

“Good.First we will deal with Caius then we will grab your bags and get out of here.I have a private jet waiting to leave at a moment’s notice.”Even though they didn’t know the details of what she was doing her sisters had made sure Bella had multiple escape routes to get out of Italy.

“Do you where he is?”Athenodora asked.

“He is in his bedroom watching gay porn.”Bella told her.

“Of course he is.”Athenodora was in no way surprised as it was one of Caius’ favorite hobbies.

“Let’s go.”Bella grabbed Athenodora’s hand and carefully led her though Caius’ wing of the castle.Just as Bella said he was in his bedroom naked watching gay porn.

Athenodora made a face looking at the scene.”Even though I would rather not see this please unshield us.”

“No problem.”Bella let down her shield causing Caius to scream and scramble to cover himself with blankets.

“What the hell?!How dare you come into my private chambers!!”Caius screeched.

“No how dare you think you could get away with forcing my mate to act as your own.”Bella replied.

“Your mate?”Caius looked to Bella and Athenodora’s clasps hands.”You can’t be serious.”

“She is very serious.”Athenodora told him.

It seemed Caius suddenly realized the seriousness of his situation as he yelled as loud as he could.”Guards!!”

“They can’t hear you.”Even if they could Bella’s shield would physically stop them from entering.

“So this is how it is.Just like the coward you are you have come to kill me while I am defenseless.”Caius said.

“Are you admitting you are too weak to beat either of us in a fight without the guards keeping you safe?”Athenodora asked.

“I admit no such thing.You are both a couple of weak pitiful women who have no honor.If you did you wouldn’t ambush me while I have my guard down and without clothes.”Caius told her.

“You are saying you can’t defend yourself without clothes?”Bella knew that Caius was stalling but it was fun messing with him.

Caius growled.”Of course I can defend myself without clothes.It’s just improper for a man to fight a woman naked.”

“You thinks it’s improper for a man to be naked with a woman in any situation.”Athenodora couldn’t resist bringing up Caius’ homosexuality.It was something that always riled him up.

“By the video playing on the tv you only think it’s proper for a man to be naked with another man.”Bella goaded.

“How dare you!!”Caius reached for the remote and turned off the tv.

”Always with the same question.”Bella lowered her voice in an impression of Caius’”How dare you?”

“He only says that when he doesn’t have an excuse for whatever he is being called out for.”Athenodora loved to watch Isabella push Caius to say the phrase as often as she could.

“As much as I love making Caius make a fool of himself.”It was one of Bella’s main hobbies while living in the castle.”Someone is bound to come to fetch him for something.That means we need to hurry up.”

“We should have spent the time talking on torturing instead.”Athenodora was kicking herself for wasting so much time.

Noticing Caius was trying to think of a way to flee Bella raced over and pulled him out bed and held him by the arms.”This is so gross.I really think we should put some clothes on him just so I don’t have to see his disgusting body.”

“How dare you!!”Caius screeched.

“There’s that phrase again.That means he knows his body is disgusting.”Bella readjusted her hold on Caius to put as much space between them as she could without releasing him.

Athenodora looked Caius over.”I’ve always preferred women and seeing him like this just proves that I made the right choice.”

“His body isn’t a very good representation of the male species.Not that the others are very attractive.”Bella quickly added when she saw the look Athenodora was giving her.”I’m just saying some of them actually take care of their bodies and aren’t as repulsive as Caius.”

“From what I’ve seen in the castle you are right.At least some of them bathe regally unlike Caius.”Athenodora wasn’t into men but she could appreciate the hard work that some of them put into their bodies while they were human.”If this is what he was like when he was human I wonder why his sire even bothered to turn him.”

Bella cut off Caius before he could speak.”Yes, Yes How dare we?”

“As we don’t have much time I say I beat on him a little while then we dismantle him and burn his limbs while he watches, then burn the rest of him without removing his head.”Athenodora liked the idea of Caius having to feel the pain of being burned alive.

“You can’t do that!!”Caius screeched.

“It’s too bad you’re a vampire because if you were human you would be hoarse from all that screaming.Then we wouldn’t have to listen to you.”Bella expected no less from Caius.

“No I want to hear him scream and beg for his life.”Athenodora had many fantasy that included Caius sobbing like a child begging her to have mercy.

“I didn’t think of that.”Bella said.

Athenodora approached Caius and punched him in the face hard enough that his eye socket caved him.”That was so satisfying.”

“Just think that was only one punch.”Bella hoped that they would be quick once they were done with Caius because she wanted to get Athenodora alone as soon as possible.There was nothing hotter than watching her mate torture someone and Bella knew that by the time they were done she wasn’t going to be able to wait to get her naked.

Athenodora punched him in the stomach next causing him to groan in pain.”It seems you aren’t really hurting that bad.Maybe I should just move on to removing your limbs.”

“I will have your head for this!!”Caius threatened.

“It is I who will have your head.”Athenodora grabbed ahold of his right arm and pulled it off his body.Caius wasn’t able to hold back his scream.”That’s it Caius sing for me.”

“You won’t get away with this.” Caius growled out between clenched teeth.

Athenodora ignored him and removed his other arm.Caius’ scream was a lot louder that time.”That’s better.”

“I have to admit this is much more fulfilling than I thought it would be.”Bella said.

“You being here with me makes it that much better.”Athenodora ripped off Caius’ left leg next.

“I will….give…you…one last…chance..to stop…this.”Caius gasped out.

Athenodora laughed.”You still think you are in control.”

“Caius is of the mentality that a man would never be able to be bested by a woman.I bet that even when we light him on fire he will still believe that he can win.”Bella didn’t expect Caius to ever admit to himself he wasn’t in control of the situation.

“Did you bring a lighter?”Athenodora asked as she ripped Caius’ other leg off.

Bella pulled one out of her pocket and handed it to the queen.”I brought six incase the first five didn’t work.”

“I can always count on you to be prepared.”Athenodora piled up Caius’ limbs and lit them on fire.

“No, don’t do this.Guards!!Aro, Marcus help!!”Caius screamed.

“Here you are my love.”Bella handed Athenodora Caius’ torso.

Athenodora lifted Caius so that he was eye level with her.”You have made my life hell for thousands of years.It brings me great joy to be what ends you.”

“Please don’t do this.I will let you go without punishment.Just don’t kill me.”Caius pleaded.

“Even when his life is on the line he holds on to the belief that he has power over us.”Bella said.

“That belief will be proven false very soon.”Athenodora replied.She threw Caius’ torso into the fire taking great pleasure in watching it burn and hearing him scream.Once he was nothing more than a pile of ash she she turned to Bella, wrap her arms around her neck and kissed her hard on the mouth.Pulling back she rested her forehead against her mate’s.”It’s finally over.”

“Yes it is.”Bella started to let herself feel hopeful that they would get their happy ending.

“I can’t believe you actually came through.”Bella had promised that she would free Athenodora but after being a captive her whole life she didn’t think that it was even a possibility.

“I would anything for you.Even if that meant I had to help you kill a king.”Bella would help Athenodora kill all three of them if she wanted.Bella knew she didn’t though.Sulpicia and Didyme were happy with their lives and their mates and Athenodora would never hurt her friends by destroying their happiness.

“Speaking of killing a king we need to get out of here.Once someone finds his ashes the castle will be put on lockdown and we will have to fight our way out.”Athenodora wasn’t afraid of them losing she just didn’t want to have to delay leaving.

“I can’t for you to meet my sisters.”Bella said.

“What did you tell them about me?”Athenodora asked.

“Nothing for fear if one of them was caught that they would be forced to give up the information.”Bella was almost positive they wouldn’t be caught but on the off chance someone had gotten to them while Bella was gone she didn’t want anyone to know about her mate bond.

“That’s smart.”Athenodora wouldn’t want to chance it either.

“Let’s go.”Bella held out her hand and led a very willing Athenodora out of the room.She wanted to leave quickly not only to get a chance to get Athenodora alone but she worried about her sisters.The kings had no doubt already sent people to find them and Bella wanted to be around in case they actually did.She didn’t really think they would but she had been away from them for so long she didn’t want to risk any of their freedom by being careless.Looking over at Athenodora Bella wondered how her sisters were going to react learning about the mate bond.She bet they were going to be shocked at first but would easily accept Athenodora into the family.They were good people and only wanted Bella to be happy and nothing made her happier than Athenodora.
