“Have I told you how gorgeous you look tonight?”Bella asked Rosalie.Rosalie smiled at Bella from across the table at the restaurant the pair were having dinner at.Bella of course had gone all out and rented out the entire place for them to have a private dinner.Rosalie would have been perfectly happy sharing a dinning room with others but had to admit it was a lot more romantic with just the two of them in the room.Minus the waiter and the maitre d.She was dressed in a beautiful gown that was reminiscent of her human years that fit her perfectly.It made her wonder how the personal shopper was able to get her measurements right.Bella had even arranged for a hair stylist to come and do Rosalie’s hair.When she had seen her reflection in the mirror Rosalie had thought she had never looked so good.

“Only about two dozen times.”Rosalie had been complimented the first time Bella had seen her and the comments had been more flattering as the evening wore on.

“Clearly not enough then.”Bella said.

Rosalie chuckled.”I wouldn’t mind hearing it a couple more times.”

“Well you do look particularly beautiful tonight.Though it could just be the fact that I haven’t seen you look so happy since you were human.Not even when we were reunited.”Bella told her.

“When we were reunited I was to overwhelmed to feel much at all.Then we had to deal with my family stuff and the Denali.Now we finally have a chance to spend some time together and relax with nothing to really worry about.”Rosalie had pushed all her concerns to the back of her mind and locked them away for the night.All she wanted to do was focus on her evening with Bella.

“It is nice to be able to get away from the responsibilities of life every now and then.”Bella didn’t mind taking a moment to enjoy Rosalie’s company.

“I have a feeling we won’t get as many chances in the future as I would like.”Rosalie predicted that getting alone time with Bella was going to be extremely hard while they were on tour.It made her wonder what would happen once it was over.

A waiter approached the table interrupting their conversation.“Hello ladies my name is Sean and I’ll be your server this evening.”

“Nice to meet you Sean.”Bella replied.

“Before you order can I just say how much I love your music.I got tickets to your Friday night show and my friends and I are very excited.”Sean gushed.

“I hope you have a good time.”Bella said.

“I know we will.I have seen you five times already.You always put on a great show.”The sound of a throat clearing had Sean straightening his posture and putting on a professional demeanor.”Can I start you ladies with some wine.”

“I don’t want any but I wouldn’t be opposed to you having some sweetheart.”Bella told Rosalie.

Rosalie’s smiled brightened hearing Bella call her sweetheart in front of the waiter.”No thank you I will stick with water.”

“I will as well.”Bella didn’t drink alcohol but didn’t care if others did.As long as they didn’t get out of control she was fine with it.

“Do you know what you would like to order?”Sean asked.

“I’ll take the stuffed lobster and a New York steak cooked medium rare.”Rosalie hadn’t had either of those things before and wanted to try them.

“With all the sides?”When Rosalie nodded Sean gave her a once over.”And for you Miss Swan?”

“I’ll take the eggplant parmesan.”Bella handed him her menu trying to hold her laughter.

“I’ll bring those out when they are ready.”Sean took both menus and walked away from the table.

Noticing Bella’s expression Rosalie asked.”What’s so funny?”

“The way Sean looked you over when you ordered two meals.I bet he thinks you have some kind of eating disorder.”Bella said.

“That or he thinks I’m trying to run up the bill.Those were the two most expensive options on the menu.”Rosalie wouldn’t be surprised if Sean thought she was a gold digger trying make Bella spend money on her.

“You should pay just to see the look on his face when you do.”Bella suggested.

Rosalie chuckled.”I think I will.”

“Do you have your own money or did Carlisle control all that?”Bella asked.

“I have my own money but am in no means rich.”Rosalie hadn’t put that much effort in growing her bank accounts.It hadn’t been that important to her.

“Once the tour is over we will get you access to all my accounts.I may not make much in the fae realm but in the human realm I’m very wealthy.It’s only right you have a chance to spend it.”Bella said.

“Do you make a lot being a singer?”Rosalie didn’t really know how much singers made.

“Last year after taxes I brought home over $500 million dollars.”Bella told her.

“$500 million?!”Rosalie couldn’t believe Bella made that much money in a year.

“Most of that is from merchandise.Then there is the money I get for performing and the royalties from music.A few investments as well.”Bella explained.

“Do you make any money from the record company?”Rosalie asked.

Bella shook her head.”That’s Sebastian’s hobby so he is the sole owner.I just put my name on things when he needs publicity.”

“You let Sebastian have all the profits from the record company?”Rosalie was surprised to hear that.She would have thought Bella would get some kind of percentage since she put so much work into it.

“He makes all the decisions.I just step in when asked but I don’t really do that much for the company.Maybe write a song or two and record some records.”Bella was very hands off with her son’s business.She knew he wanted to prove he was capable of being a successful on his own and she didn’t want to stand in his way of that.

“I thought you were a lot more involved than that.”Rosalie said.

“This is his first big venture and he wanted to do it alone.Well as alone as he could be with keeping me close.Sebastian may want his independence but he’s a momma’s boy at heart.I don’t think he will ever want to go off on his own.”Bella expected her son wouldn’t grow out of his need to have her close to him.Not that she minded.She liked having him near.

“I wonder how that’s going to affect his relationship with Irina.”Rosalie actually wondered how it was going to affect her relationship with Bella.

“Neither of us has ever been in a relationship since I adopted him.I’m sure there will be many adjustments that will have to be made but we will make it work.That is if we put in the effort and respect each others boundaries.”Bella was sure there was going to be some conflicts in the future but had faith that they would work it out.

“How is he feeling now that he has a mate?”Rosalie asked.

“I haven’t gotten a chance to speak to him about it.I was actually hoping that you would be willing to be part of that conversation.”Bella said.

“Why do you want me to there to talk to him?”Rosalie wasn’t opposed to the idea she just didn’t want to over step her role in Sebastian’s life.

“Not only does he consider you his mother, you were a vampire and understand the mating bond much better than I do.I may have something similar in my culture but it isn’t the same.You have more knowledge on the subject than I do.I will be there for support.It’s just I don’t want to say the wrong thing.”Bella didn’t usually rely on others to help her son but Rosalie was someone she trusted to take Sebastian’s feeling into consideration when speaking to him.

“That makes sense.”Rosalie could understand why Bella would want her there.She wouldn’t mind being someone that Sebastian turned to for advice or be someone he went to to talk about things.

“Here is you dinner.”Sean said as he walked up the table holding a tray filled with plates.He began setting them in front of Rosalie first.”We have the stuffed lobster and New York strip for you.”

“Thank you.”Seeing the food in front of her Rosalie now understood what Sean thought was odd.It was a lot of food.Rosalie was going to eat every bit of though.

“And the eggplant parmesan for you Miss.Swan.”Sean set a plate down in front of Bella.”Is there any else I can get you?”

“No I’m good thank you.”Bella said.

Rosalie couldn’t think of anything else she needed.”I’m fine.”

“Then enjoy your meal and signal me if you need anything.”Sean told them.He took his tray and walked away.

“This looks good.”Bella commented.

Rosalie took a bite of the lobster and groaned.”My god that’s delicious.”

“I’ve noticed you are really enjoying being able to eat human food.”Bella said.

“Not only have I been forced to live off animals blood for over a century, the state of human food these days is extraordinary.In my human life I wouldn’t even have imagined some the dishes I have tried since you turned me back.Don’t even get me started on what a revolutionary idea it is to fry food.”Rosalie was very happy she couldn’t gain weight because even if she didn’t need the calories for energy she didn’t think she had the willpower to control the servings of food she ate.

“Fried food is quiet amazing isn’t it.”Bella agreed.

“What type of foods do you have in your realm?”Rosalie asked.

“We are more of a plant based culture.Most of our dishes are made out of fruits and vegetables.That’s not saying that my people don’t eat meat it just isn’t that common.We don’t have cows or goats so milk and milk products don’t exist in my realm.At least I don’t think my people actually drink the milk from our animals.”Bella frowned at the thought.

“You don’t have cheese or ice cream?”Now that Rosalie could eat she couldn’t imagine her life without cheese and ice cream.

“No but we do have frozen treats we make with snow.”Bella told her.

“Why do you make them with snow?”Rosalie would figure they would use shaved ice.

“We don’t freezers to store ice in.”Bella explained.

“You don’t have freezers?Does that mean you don’t have refrigerators?”Rosalie asked.

“In my realm we don’t have electricity like you have here.”Bella said.

“What do you mean you don’t have electricity?”Rosalie didn’t know how the fairies couldn’t have electricity.

“My people don’t have the same technology as humans do.Where as the human world went through the Industrial Revolution and found ways to mass produce products to keep up with your growing populations my people didn’t have that problem.Our population is small and all of us have magic.We don’t need machines to make enough clothes for billions of people to wear we have tailors that provide for our villages.Our food is grown in every community and is traded with others for what they grow.People have jobs they get paid to do of course but money isn’t that important in our lives.We mostly trade for what we need.If we have nothing to trade then we pay or do work for the item.”Bella told her.

“How do you watch tv or listen to music?”Rosalie couldn’t imagine living in such a backwards society.

“We don’t have tv.We have actors who put on plays.As for music we have our own type of record player that we play a special type of record on.Our lives are simple and we don’t put much importance on material items.”Bella missed her realm at times.Mostly when things were loud and overcrowded.

“What was it like the first time you visited the human realm?”Rosalie wondered what Bella thought of how humans lived.

“I first visited when the Egyptians had just started building their pyramids.They lived much like I was used to so it wasn’t that much of shock.”Bella said.

“I sometimes forget how old you are.”Rosalie still found it hard to believe that Bella was older than the three kings combined.

“And yet I don’t look a day over 24.”Bella joked.

Rosalie chuckled.”You do look good for your age.”

“In my regular form I look like a normal older fae looks like.”Bella told her.

“I doubt that you look like a normal fairy no matter how old they are.”Rosalie didn’t think Bella would look much like any of her people.

”You just haven’t seen many of them.Once you do you will realize that I look very much like a normal fae.”Bella said.

Rosalie rolled her eyes.”Yeah because the fact that you are half angel doesn’t effect how you look at all.”

“I’m not a half angel.”Bella denied.

“Let’s talk about something else.”Rosalie didn’t want to fight.She wanted to enjoy a romantic evening with her mate.”Why don’t you tell me what you have planned for after dinner.”

“It’s a surprise.”Bella wasn’t going to tell Rosalie what she had planned.

“I hate surprises.”Rosalie lied.She loved surprises.

“Well if you hate them so much I can always cancel our plans and we can go back to the hotel room.”Bella teased.

“No it’s fine.”Rosalie wasn’t going miss out on what she was sure was going to be a great experience.

“You should focus on finishing your dinner because you are going to need all those calories to have the energy to enjoy what I have in store of you.”Bella told her.

“Now you have me even more curious.”Rosalie did just what Bella suggested and started eating her food.She really wanted to know what Bella had planned for them.She had no doubt she was going love what ever they did.Bella always spoiled her so Rosalie knew that when Bella came up with the idea that it was with Rosalie in mind.That was why Rosalie knew it was going to fun.Bella had never let her down before and Rosalie didn’t expect her to now.Rosalie just hoped that they didn’t have to get up to early the next morning because she had plans for them once the night was over.Plans that didn’t involve sleeping.
