“Before we start the last movie why don’t we have dinner.”Irina suggested.She had been somewhat irritated that Bella had cuddled up to Rosalie during the first two movies instead of her.That irritation had been soothed somewhat when Irina offered to let Bella stretch her legs out across her lap and Bella agreed.It might not have been as good as holding her daughter close but it was progress.Bella hadn’t even flinched when Irina rubbed her feet just gave her a shy smile and thanked her.Irina took that as proof that Bella was getting more comfortable around her.Hopefully it would get to the point that Bella would be willing to let Irina hold her while she slept.She wasn’t going to push though.Seeing the results of going at Bella’s pace Irina would take her cues from her daughter.

“That’s a good idea I’m kind of hungry.”Bella told her.

“I’ll get started on making something then.”Irina was very excited for the opportunity to cook for Bella.It was a way for her to provide for her daughter.

“Thanks.”Bella said.

“So what are the plans for tomorrow?”Rosalie asked.She was beyond pleased with the way the afternoon had played out.The space that Bella had initially put between them when she first sat down had been erased after the first scary part of the movie when Bella buried her face in Rosalie’s shoulder.It took everything in Rosalie not to react because she didn’t want embarrass Bella.She held still and when Bella simply readjusted and stayed cuddled into Rosalie’s side she eventually took the chance to wrap her arm around Bella smiling brightly when Bella didn’t oppose.As the movie wore on Bella shifted to the point that she was laying on top of Rosalie with her feet stretched onto Irina’s lap.Rosalie hoped that in the future they would watch all movies in that position.

“I thought that we would send a few of you to take care of sending the packages while Bella ate breakfast,then go to the bank.After that we could do some tourist stuff.”Tanya had planned for the group to spend 5 days there and wanted to get everything that dealt with Ralph out of the way so they could enjoy the rest of the trip.

“Did you already pick where we are going to go?”Kate wanted to have input on where they went because she knew how boring Tanya and Irina were.They would probably choose museums and libraries.

“I was hoping everyone would enjoy spending the day at the state fair.”Tanya said.

“You want to go to a fair?”Alice tried to remember the last time she went to a fair.She thought it was sometime during the 1950’s.She and Emmett hadn’t stayed long due to the crowds and horrible human food smells coming from all the stalls.

“A fair could be fun.”Rosalie was imagining riding the Farris wheel with Bella.She would have to make sure to have a lot of cash so she could bribe the operator to stop the ride when their cart was at the top.It would be the perfect place for a first kiss just like she saw in the movies.

“I wouldn’t mind playing some games.”Kate would love the chance to screw over the shifty humans who ran the games.

“I will never turn down the chance to win Alice a prize.”Emmett said.

Alice kissed him on the cheek.”You are my prize.”

“I’ll win you a prize as well.”Rosalie told Bella.

“You don’t have to win me a prize.”Bella didn’t want to put any pressure on Rosalie even if Rosalie winning her a prize was completely adorable.Not that Bella would admit that to anyone.

“I will though.”Rosalie felt like Bella didn’t have faith that she would win a prize.It made Rosalie determined to win Bella the biggest prize the fair had to offer to prove her wrong.Plus it was part of the romantic fair experience for your significant other to win you a prize.

“Other than the fair what else have you planned?”Garrett asked.

“Well there is a zoo, air museum and a Scandinavian Heritage Park that I thought everyone would want to go to.”Tanya had gotten her ideas off of the Minot tourist website.

“You want to go to a museum, zoo and park?”Kate knew it.Tanya picked out boring activities.

“What’s wrong with that?”Tanya thought those were perfectly good places to visit.

“What’s wrong is we aren’t here on school trip.We don’t have to do the tourist spots.Let’s find something a little more original than a zoo.”Kate said.

“Then what do you suggest?”Tanya expected anything Kate came up with would not be appropriate for Bella to be involved in.

“I’m so glad you asked.”Kate had done her own research before they left in preparation of Tanya’s lame ideas.”I think we should try our hands at an escape room.”

“I don’t think that would be fair.Alice will know all the answers.”Bella reminded them.

“Alice can sit this one out.”Kate said.

“I can be trusted not to cheat.”Alice was somewhat offended that anyone thought otherwise.

Rosalie rolled her eyes.”No you can’t.Especially if they are offering a good prize.”

“Well what about Bella then?She could get help from a ghost.”Alice thought that Bella’s gift gave her even more of an advantage than Alice’s did.

“That’s a good point.Bella could just have a ghost give her all the answers to the puzzles.”Garrett didn’t know Bella well but if he had her gift he would use it to cheat.

“Ok no escape rooms.How about a trampoline park?”Kate was bummed they couldn’t do the escape room but hadn’t thought about Alice and Bella’s gifts being a problem.

“That sounds cool.”Emmett would love the chance to jump on a bunch trampolines.

“I wouldn’t mind going.”Alice said.

“If that’s what you want I’ll go.”Garrett would follow Kate’s lead.

“What do you think Bella?”Rosalie wanted to go but only if Bella did.

Bella couldn’t think of anything she wanted to do less than go to a trampoline park but it seemed everyone else really wanted to go.Not wanting to disappoint them she agreed.”Yeah that’s fine.”

“Sweet.I’ll call the place and reserve it for us for the day.”Kate stood and pulled out her phone.She wanted to make the reservations before everyone changed their minds.

“Other than the fair and the trampoline park does anyone else have any suggestions?”Tanya asked.

“It would be nice to check out what kind of shopping the town has to offer.”Alice said.

Emmett smiled fondly at Alice.”Of course you would want to go shopping.”

“Shopping sounds fun.”Rosalie would love to go shopping with Bella.She could use the chance to spoil Bella a little.

“I know Kate would want to go so we are in.”Garrett knew that Kate would take any chance she could to shop in a new area.She liked to find interesting things everywhere she went.

“I don’t mind.”Shopping wasn’t something Bella cared about one way or the other.She would just bring a book with her to read in case she got bored.

“Ok, tomorrow we go to the fair, followed by the trampoline park the next day and for last day here we will spend it shopping.”It wasn’t exactly what Tanya had planned but if that’s what everyone wanted to do then she wouldn’t object.

“Bella dinner is ready.”Irina announced as she placed a plate of food on the table.

“Cool.”Bella stood from her spot next to Rosalie and made her way the to table.She furrowed her brows when she noticed only one plate.”Is everyone else going to eat as well?”

“We follow a special diet that prevents us from eating regular meals.”Irina lied.They hadn’t really come up with an excuse for not eating.

“Alright.”Although they could be on a special diet Bella didn’t believe that was the reason that everyone with her didn’t eat.She wanted to confront them about it and all the other things that weren’t quite right but hadn’t felt safe enough to do it yet.She really needed to have a private chat with Sasha.That would have to wait until she got home.Then she was going to demand some answers.

“Eat up.”Irina said.

Bella took her knife and fork and tried to cut through the steak that Irina had cooked for her.She wasn’t making much progress because of how overcooked the meat was.Deciding to focus on the vegetables she loaded a small amount of mashed potatoes on her fork and put it in her mouth.As soon as it touched her tongue she was overwhelmed with the taste of salt.Grabbing the glass of water next to her plate she downed half of it in one gulp.She wasn’t sure what to do because none of the meal was edible and she didn’t want to hurt Irina’s feelings.

“How is it?”Irina asked.

“It’s good.I just don’t feel so well suddenly.”Bella told her.

Rosalie quickly rushed to Bella’s side.“What’s wrong?Do you need a doctor?”

“No, I just don’t think I’m going to be able to eat dinner.”Bella felt horrible that she was lying but Irina just looked so happy that she was able to cook dinner for Bella.

“Why don’t you go lay down if you aren’t feeling well.”Tanya suggested.

“Yeah it’s getting late anyway.”Bella was more than happy to turn in for the night.She had barely slept the night before and was tired.

“Do you want me to save this for tomorrow?”Irina asked.

Bella tried to think of a way of telling her no without being rude.”It won’t be as good reheated.”

“That’s true.”Irina didn’t actually know if it was true but would trust Bella’s opinion.

Bella stood from her chair and made her way to her room.”Good night everyone.”

“I’ll try not to wake you when I come in.”Rosalie wanted to follow Bella right then but knew that it wasn’t a reasonable time for someone to go to bed.She was worried about Bella feeling unwell and was happy that she would be next to her all night in case she needed something.

“Thanks.”Bella replied.

Irina sighed when Bella closed the door behind her.”I was so looking forward to cooking for her.”

“You’ll get more chances in the future don’t worry.”Tanya was positive that Irina would be able to cook for Bella again.

“I hope she feels better in the morning.”Kate didn’t want her niece to be sick for the entire trip.

“She probably doesn’t feel well because of the lack of sleep and all the traveling.”Alice was sure Bella would be alright.If not she more than likely would have a vision about it.

“She has looked more exhausted as the day has gone on.”Tanya had noticed Bella had dozed off a couple times during the movies.

“Since Bella is in bed what do say we go sample the night life?”Kate asked Garrett.

“That could be fun.”Garrett said.

“We’ll come with you.”It had been decades since Alice and Emmett had gone clubbing with Kate and Garret and Alice didn’t want to miss out on the chance.

“The three of us will be staying here.”Irina wished Rosalie would go with them but they had to keep up the narrative that she was a human teenager.

“See you in the morning.”Kate said as she led the group out the door.

“What are you guys going to do?”Rosalie asked Tanya and Irina.

“We are going to hang out on the couch and watch tv.That way if Bella needs us we are close.”Tanya didn’t want to be too far away from Bella in case she got sick during the night.

“I’ll stay out here with you for a couple hours then I’ll join Bella.”Rosalie told her.

“Don’t forget when you join Bella we will be able to hear everything that is going on in that room.”Irina was going to monitoring the pair the entire night.Rosalie was a newly mated vampire.She remembered what it was like when she met Tanya and wanted to stop Rosalie from doing anything inappropriate.

“I know.”Rosalie did know and wasn’t happy about it.Taking a seat on one of the arm chairs she began planning on how she was going to get some time alone with Bella.It was obvious that Irina was going watch them like a hawk so Rosalie would have to figure out a way to send Irina away.Maybe while they were at the fair she could suggest that Tanya and Irina go off on their own to spend time together as a couple.That would leave Kate to chaperone.Rosalie knew that Kate would be easy to distract.Making it so they could slip away without anyone even realizing it.It was once someone did that would be the problem.Rosalie wasn’t deterred though she had all night to come up with the perfect plan and it would time well spent.
