“I can’t believe you stole Aro’s crown.”Rosalie said.She had recognized the ordinate gold crown the was covered in precious jewels from the painting Carlisle had of the kings.When they had come across it in the castle Rose had taken an interest but Rosalie had thought she was just kidding when she mentioned it would go perfectly with the others in her collection.To Rosalie’s surprise she had been completely serious and was currently admiring the way it looked on her head in a mirror in the villa she, Rosalie and Isabella had broken into to keep Chelsea hostage in.That was another thing that surprised Rosalie.She thought they would keep Chelsea in a cheap abandoned building not a multi million dollar villa that had many amenities including a pool that Isabella had just finished swimming in.

“She would have taken a lot more if she had the space to store it.”Isabella told her.

“If I travel with you like this again I’m going to make sure I’m prepared.”Rose didn’t want to have to leave behind anything cool like she was forced to on this trip.

“Do you think the kings have noticed that Chelsea is missing yet?”Rosalie asked.

“Definitely.I bet after they found Dimitri and Heidi in pieces they did a roll call for the castle.Starting with the royal guard.They probably also know about all the stuff Rose stole.”Isabella figured as soon as they realized there was a breach the kings would lock the castle down and inventory everything and everyone in it.

“Liberated.”Rose corrected.

“What do you think they are going to do when they realize she’s no longer in the castle?”The villa wasn’t that far away from the castle and Rosalie was worried that they were going to be found.Not that she thought they would be captured she just didn’t want the time spent on this mission to be wasted.The needed to get back to Forks to protect Bella and time was of the essence.Vampires would be showing up soon and they still hadn’t found Edward.

“The problem they have is they have no information on us.Once you made Dimitri and Heidi forget about us and what we did to them that information was erased from their minds.That means when Aro reads them all the time we were with them will be missing.To him it will be like he was watching a movie and all of sudden it skipped to the end when he was only at the beginning.He won’t even know how long we were there.The only thing he will know is that whoever did is after Edward and claims Bella.I predict that he will seek Edward out to interrogate him trying to figure out who is after him.While trying to find him he will send spies to find out who is around Bella that would have the power to do what you two did to them.His hope would be that he could gain enough information to be able to not only find Chelsea but to find the vampire that did it and recruit them for the guard.”At least that’s what Isabella thought he would do.

“He wouldn’t just kill us?”Rosalie asked.

Isabella shook her head.”Even someone as stupid as Edward would know that your gift is way to powerful to ignore.You are more powerful than Bella and killing you would make him lose out on the chance to control that power.If you didn’t join him willingly he would probably go after your family but you don’t need to worry about that.Anyone who knows about your gift has their mind blocked and cares enough about you that they would never give up the information willingly.”

“Carlisle would if it saved Edward.”Rosalie had no doubt that Carlisle would hand her over to Aro to keep Edward safe.

“Carlisle doesn’t know how your gift works.He just thinks that you can make people do things he doesn’t know the extent of it.Plus he underestimates you.He would never believe you were capable of infiltrating the castle and doing what you did.He would just give me the credit.”Rose said.

“That’s true Carlisle doesn’t respect me or my opinion.It is well known that he changed me because of my looks.He wanted me to be Edward’s companion until he found his mate.”Rosalie had been told many times why Carlisle chose to change her.

“Why do people in this dimension hold him in such high regard?”Isabella couldn’t figure out why Carlisle was respected.Everything new she found out about him just showed what a horrible person he was.

“I think it has to do with the fact he has never tried human blood and is able to be a doctor.”Rosalie didn’t understand it either.

“Never trying human blood isn’t that big of a deal.I’ve always been on an animal blood diet.It’s rather common in my dimension.”Rose didn’t see how not drinking human blood made someone special.

“I’ve never tried it either but I don’t get any respect for it.People applaud Carlisle for his compassion and dedication to humans.”Rosalie was never given credit for that achievement.

“Why do you stay with him?”Isabella asked.

“I honestly don’t know.I mean I like my siblings and Esme is alright.She is a little to dedicated to Carlisle and Edward for my taste but she isn’t that horrible.I guess I didn’t really see any other options.”Rosalie hadn’t thought about leaving because it wasn’t brought up by anyone.She had fallen into a routine and didn’t have a reason to change it.

“I think that you will have many big decisions to make before this is over.One of them being your place within the Cullens.”Isabella said.

“What do you mean by that?”Rosalie asked.

“It’s obvious that Carlisle is not going to stand for Edward being killed.That being the case he will try to prevent it.It he does he will most likely be killed.If he isn’t and we kill Edward he will probably seek revenge against all us.”Isabella explained.

“You think Carlisle isn’t going to make it out of this alive?”Rosalie hadn’t thought of Carlisle dying as something that would happen but Isabella was right.He wouldn’t stand aside while they killed Edward.

“His unnatural attachment to Edward rivals Edward attachment to Bella.I noticed it the first time I saw them interact.Carlisle may have been distracted by my presence but I could see the obsession he had with the boy.”Isabella told her.

Rosalie knew exactly Isabella was talking about.”That has been an on going issue with my family.His willingness to put Edward’s wishes above everyone else’s.Even when it is detrimental to the coven.”

“There you have it.Carlisle will act out and I won’t hesitate to kill him.If I don’t he will become just as much of threat as Edward is now but he will have the added advantage of the kings backing him.”Isabella said.

“Aro is very fond of him.Their friendship is well known throughout the vampire world.”Rosalie wouldn’t be surprised if Aro sent the entire guard to destroy them if Carlisle asked him to.

“If we do have to kill him I call dibs.”Rose wasn’t going to miss out on the chance to kill Carlisle.Even if it wouldn’t be as satisfying as killing the one from her dimension.

“I have no problem giving you the opportunity because I have already gotten to kill him a couple times.”Isabella wouldn’t prevent Rose the opportunity of a life time.She wouldn’t have many chances to kill Carlisle and Isabella wanted her to feel what it felt like to finally be able to kill someone you hated as much as they all hated Carlisle.

“Yes!!”Rose cheered.”I can’t wait to brag about it when we get home.”

”I’m going to be getting quite the earful when we get home after my mate finds out about the stuff you were able to do.”Isabella was not looking forward to dealing with her wife’s anger.

“Surely she’ll understand that you didn’t take Rose here on purpose?”Rosalie wouldn’t hold it against Isabella if she was her mate.

“You don’t understand how jealous our mates are of our bond.It took years before Tanya and Emmett could be in the same room with us together without them trying to attack one of us.”Isabella had some scars from those early fights.

“They would attack you!”Rosalie couldn’t believe that their mates would attack one of them because of a bond they had no control over.

Rose nodded.”It’s been a couple centuries and they still growl every now and then.”

“How old are you guys?”Rosalie had assumed that they were the same age as their dimensional counter parts but that didn't actually make sense because Isabella was older physically then Bella.

“I am a little over 300 years old.”Rose told her.

“300!”Rosalie couldn’t believe her counterpart was so old.

“I’m young compared to Isabella.She’s isn’t exactly sure how old she is but by estimates we think she is at least 2000 years old.”Rose said.

“Wouldn’t you be the same age as your dimensional counterparts?”Rosalie asked.

“I find that although each dimensions has the same people they don’t have the same lives.It’s like whoever created everything was some kind of scientist who likes to put it’s subjects through different situations to see how they react.Like in this dimension Bella is a modern day high school student who gets involved with vampires.Where as I was a warrior in the same tribe Athenodora came from that she took an interest in when she came to check on her living relatives that she had been watching over for centuries.”Isabella much preferred her origins over Bella’s.The idea of having to go to high school with a bunch of human teenagers make her skin crawl.

“Athenodora is your sire?”Rosalie didn’t think her Athenodora had sired anyone.The kings probably wouldn’t have allowed it.

“She is and a very good one at that.She nurtured my growth and encouraged me to forge my own path.I initially didn’t want to be a part of the guard and she never forced me.It wasn’t until I traveled a bit and wanted to settle down that I moved into the castle and took my place in the royal guard.That changed when I met Tanya and she wasn’t interested in living in the castle and didn’t like that I was gone all the time.I cut back on my duties and spent more time with our coven.Athenodora didn’t fight me on stepping back from my role even though I was their most powerful guard member.She just supported my decision and anytime she asks me to do something if I say no she lets it go.”Bella told her.

“She does sound like a good sire.”Rosalie wished Carlisle was even half that supportive.”Who is your sire Rose?”

“My sire was a not so nice man who was drawn to me for my looks.I don’t wish to go into details but he preferred his female bed partners to be human and unwilling.He only changed me because I was close to death and he didn’t want to lose his prize.”Rose had taken great pleasure in killing that man.

“Jesus.”Rosalie didn’t want to think about how long Rose’s sire probably kept her alive.It make her wonder about the fact that they similar turnings.”I was attacked by a group of human men who left me for dead when they were done with me.Carlisle turned me before I died.”

“That kind of proves your theory that our creator puts us in different scenarios to see how we react.Rosalie was attacked by humans I was attacked by a vampire.If I was conducting an experiment on how my subjects would react I could see them wanting to know what would happen if humans were involved instead of vampires.”Rose said.

“It actually does.”Rosalie agreed.

“I don’t think we will ever find out for sure.”Isabella didn’t think anyone would ever find out who or what created life.

“The only thing we can claim as fact is that whoever created us wants you and Tanya to be together no matter what.”Rosalie said.

“It makes me think that they may favor you over all others.”Rose wouldn’t be surprised if Isabella was a favorite.Her bond mate was extremely kind hearted and went above and beyond to make sure that every dimensional pair she visited had a way to protect themselves from future threats just in case she didn’t get pulled to them in time.

“I may be a favorite but that doesn’t mean I don’t have to work hard to keep that approval.”Isabella reminded her.

“I know.”Rose did know.She usually was by Isabella’s side when she was doing that work.

“How long are we going to keep Chelsea.”Rosalie asked.

“We will bring her back tomorrow.In pieces of course.”Isabella told him.”If we had more time I would slowly return her piece by piece over the course of many days but we do not have the time to do that.”

“Which is too bad because it would cause a lot more fear if we kept breaching the castle without being caught.”Rose added.

“What should we do until then?”Rosalie wasn’t sure what to do when you were keeping someone hostage.

Isabella shrugged.”This is most likely the only chance you are going to be able to have to relax so enjoy the villa while we are here.”

“I personally am going to check out the owner’s collection of music.Maybe I will find something I like.”Rose had liked the music Isabella had brought back the last time she visited this dimension and was looking forward to finding out what else it had to offer.

“I’m going to spend some time in the library.”Isabella said.

“I think I will go swimming.”Rosalie decided Isabella was right.They wouldn’t have many opportunities to relax in the coming days so they might as well take the chance while they could.Watching the other two walk away in the direction of each room they picked out Rosalie sighed.She was happy that she had gone with the pair but was starting to miss Emmett.She had never spent this long apart from him and it was beginning to effect her.She wasn’t going to complain though.She knew if she did they would just send her back to Forks and Rosalie didn’t want that.She wanted to be involved in the action and get the real world experience she would continue getting if she stayed with Rose and Isabella.She had already learned so much and knew that staying would broaden her world so much more.So although it was hard Rosalie pushed the sadness and anxiety of being away from Emmet to the side and focused on the mission.It was important that she not be distracted.That and Rosalie didn’t really have it that bad.Isabella was constantly away from her mate and she dealt with it just fine.Rosalie would just suck it up and keep going.That’s what true leaders did.
