“Now let’s try this again.”Bella said as she and Rosalie stood on the treaty line facing off against twelve wolves and their alpha who was in his human form.Bella expected to be met with such force as the wolves had probably been told of what happened with Carlisle, Edward and Esme.She was actually surprised they hadn’t attacked yet.It was obvious they wanted to judging from the snarling and growling they were doing.

“What do you want from us?”Sam asked cautiously.Jacob had told him all about what Rosalie and Bella had done to the Cullens and he didn’t want to fight them if he didn’t have to.He would give the order if it was necessary but he hoped they could talk things out.

“As I told you before the treaty you had with Carlisle is now void.This is my territory now and you will have to make a new one with me.”Bella told him.

“We have no interest in a making a new treaty.”Sam said.

Bella narrowed her eyes at Sam.“I don’t care about your interests.They mean nothing to me.A new treaty will be made.”

“This is our land we decide what rules apply to it.That means the treaty we made with Carlisle stands.You and your people will not be allowed here.”Sam may have thought this woman was dangerous but he wasn’t going to let her dictate what happened on his people’s land.

“Little boy I think you have the wrong idea here.”Bella told him.

Sam growled.“I am not a little boy!I am the alpha of this pack!”

“Well almighty alpha I’m here to tell that from now on myself and Rosalie will be visiting your sacred lands whenever we like.”Bella smirked seeing the rage come over the boy’s face.

“If you step one foot across the treaty line then we will be forced to kill you.”Sam threatened.

Bella laughed.”You think you could kill either of us?”

“You may be strong but we outnumber you.You are no match for us.”Sam knew that if it came to a fight some of members of his pack would get hurt but it was their duty to protect their tribe.

“My love would like to take the first step or do want me to do it?”Bella asked Rosalie.

Rosalie sighed.She had hoped the wolves would be smart and work things out with Bella but it seemed that wasn’t going to happen.”I think that we should take the step together.”

“Wonderful idea.”Bella took Rosalie’s hand in her own and they both stepped over the invisible line separating the reservation from the Cullen’s property.As soon as their feet landed Sam exploded into a wolf and lunged at them.Bella dropped Rosalie’s hand and swung her fist catching Sam in the jaw so hard that his body was flung into a tree where it slumped down to the ground.That seemed to upset the rest of the wolves who began an unorganized attack on both Bella and Rosalie.

“If you stand down we can talk this out.”Rosalie didn’t think the wolves would actually stop but it made her feel better knowing that she at least tried to de escalate the situation with words.As she predicted none of the wolves stopped and she was forced to fend off four of them that attacked her.Kicking one away from her, she then punch one in the side feeling it’s ribs break from the impact.She threw another one away from her as she grabbed the last one left by the scruff of it’s neck and held it to eye level.Grabbing it’s jaw to keep it from biting her Rosalie spoke.”I don’t want to hurt you.Please stop trying to attack us.”

“It’s not going to listen love.”Bella said as she flung a wolf in air by the tail.It was the last of the group besides the one Rosalie was holding that had been neutralized in some way.”Its instincts are telling it to eliminate the threat to its pack.The only thing that could make it stop would be an alpha command.”

“Is there something you can do?”Rosalie asked.

“There is but before I do it you need to be sure you want the responsibility of taking care of a wolf pack.”Bella wouldn’t be opposed to having a wolf pack at her disposal but Rosalie had weird views of owning people.

Rosalie thought about what it would mean to actually be in charge of a wolf pack.She wondered if it would different than ruling over the dragons.”What would that entail?”

“They would no longer answer to their alpha and all their loyalty would be to us.It would up to us to make all the decisions concerning their lives.They would have to ask us before they did anything from leaving their lands to dealing with threats.”Bella explained.

“Do it.”Rosalie wasn’t that comfortable with controlling the pack but the alternative would be to kill them all and she would rather the boys had a chance live because she had no doubt Bella would kill every one of them if they didn’t stop fighting.

“As you wish.”Bella walked to Sam and rolled his body over.He growled weakly at her and made pitiful attempts to bite her.Forcing him to make eye contact Bella pushed her will on him until he whimpered and offered his neck to her.Infusing her voice with the alpha command she ordered.”Shift.”

“Are they going to be alright?”Rosalie asked as she watched Sam and the other wolves transform back into their human bodies.The one she had been holding looked like he wasn’t even old enough to shave.Rosalie was happy that she hadn’t hurt him because she would have felt horrible for being responsible for beating up a child.

“They will be fine.”Bella assured her.She then turned her attention to the wolves.”I want you to collect the wounded and bring them to your healer.My love and I are going to go swimming and after we are done we will visit your elders and speak to them.”

“Do you want to speak to them first?”Rosalie figured that explaining what had happened to the tribe was more important than going swimming.

Bella shook her head.”They can wait.I want to go swimming.”

“Alright.”Rosalie would follow Bella’s lead and if she didn’t think it was important to speak to the elders right away then Rosalie didn’t either.

“Now get going.”Bella ordered the wolves.

“Yes alpha.”Sam mumbled feeling utterly defeated.He was in extreme pain from the hit he took and could already see the bruising forming on his body.That was the least of his worries though.He now had to go back to the reservation and tell the elders that the pack was no longer under their control.

“Come my love let’s go before the sunsets.”Bella held out her hand for Rosalie to take.

Rosalie took it in her own and hand and hand they walk towards the beach.Rosalie waited until they could no longer be heard by the wolves to speak.”What are you going to do with them?”

“I think you mean what are we going to do with them.”Bella corrected her.

“What are our options?”Rosalie asked.

“Well we could just leave them here and have them continue to protect their lands if you didn’t want to be bothered with them.Or we could bring them to the royal keep and loan them out to our people if they needed them for something.”Bella said.

Rosalie didn’t like the idea of giving them to dragons to use.”I think that leaving them here to protect their tribe would make them the happiest.”

“If we leave them here then they will have to able to contact us meaning that you will be in charge of them.”Bella would prefer to take them to royal keep but if Rosalie wanted them to stay on the reservation then Bella would allow it.

“I don’t mind.”Rosalie didn’t think it would be that bad being in charge of the wolves.They probably wouldn’t really need much attention and would be fine on their own.”What are you going to say to their elders?”

“I am going to explain that you are now in charge and that they will all answer to you from now on.”Bella was giving Rosalie the responsibility of dealing with the tribe because she didn’t want to be bothered by them.

“I don’t think they will like having to answer to a vampire.”Rosalie was positive they wouldn’t want to be told what to do by the very thing they believed they were created to kill.

“If they give us problems then we will send a few of the guards to take care of them.I’m sure by the time they finish not only the elders but the wolves will be more than happy to do what you say.”Bella said.

“Let’s hold off on calling in the guard.”Rosalie didn’t want anyone to die and if the guard got involved then it would be guaranteed that many would.

“If that’s what you want.”Bella would follow Rosalie’s lead.

“What I want is to go swimming with you before the queens come.We can worry about the wolves when we’re done.”Rosalie said.

“Let’s hope this thing with the queens doesn’t take to long.I would like to collect my payment from Emmett so that we can travel before I go back to sleep.”Bella was tired but wanted to spend some time with Rosalie before she was forced to go back to her keep to continue her rest.

“How are you going to deal with Carlisle’s hoard?”Rosalie asked.

“I’m going to have the guards come and collect everything.”Bella told her.

”Good if they take care of that we can leave was soon as we want.”Rosalie would just have to put some pressure on Emmett to pay Bella quickly because she knew that Bella wouldn’t leave without being paid.

“Then we are off to Paris.”Bella wasn’t that excited to be amongst humans but she knew it would Rosalie happy and making Rosalie happy was her main purpose in life.

“Then we are off to Paris.”Rosalie smiled as she thought about their vacation.She had already made plans to force Bella to take her to Eiffel Tower at night so Rosalie could fulfill her wish to have the cheesy romantic kiss all the humans wanted when they got to the top.

“Do you want to jump off the cliffs?”Bella asked when they made it to the beach.

“Definitely.”Rosalie pulled Bella by the hand to lead her to the highest one.She hadn’t been cliff diving in a long time and was excited to the chance.She was happy they were taking a moment to enjoy themselves because she knew once they left the water they would be forced to deal with the many problems that needed to be fixed.First the wolves, then they had to deal with putting Carlisle, Esme and Edward back together which Rosalie was sure would cause a bunch of new problems and finally they had to deal with queens.Rosalie wasn’t worried about her or Bella’s safety.She wasn’t even worried about Tanya, Emmett and Rachel her worry stemmed from who the queens would blame for everything.Rosalie didn’t want the vampires that came to help to get hurt but she wasn’t going to ask Bella to save them.Hopefully the queens would focus on Carlisle,Edward and Esme.Rosalie could worry about that later though.Now she was going to enjoy looking at her mate in a bikini and jump off some cliffs.The rest could wait.
