“Good Bella you’re back.”Tanya was beyond pleased to see the dragon walking out of the forest with Kate and Charlie.If they hadn’t of come soon Tanya was going to send Rosalie out to get them.The reason being the were creatures that had shown up and refused to speak to any of them.Tanya had known that trust was going to have to be earned but didn’t realize how much were creatures hated vampires.She predicted many problems in the future and was planning on speaking to Bella about how to ease some of the tension.

“Your majesty.”A large man with a bald head and long beard said as he and the other were creatures took a knee.

“Please rise.”Bella looked over the group recognizing a few faces.”Darwin, Sabrina it is good to see you are well.I believe congratulations are in order for the growth of your family.”

Darwin stood.“Thank you your majesty.”

“No it is I who should be thanking you.Once again you have come to my aid in dangerous times.”Darwin was one of Bella’s best generals.

“I swore an oath to you and even if I hadn’t I would gladly stand by your side.”Darwin told her.

“Introduce me to your kin.”Bella said.

“This is my eldest daughter Rebecca and her husband Mike.The two boys standing next to them are their sons Rory and Vincent.”Sabrina pointed at a man and woman standing beside each other.”This our son Killian and his wife Ruby.They have no children.”

Bella noticed the flinch from both Killian and Ruby when their lack of children was mentioned.”I take it that isn’t by choice.”

“No your majesty.We have tried for many years but haven’t been able to conceive.”Killian told her.

“When we have settled come find me and we speak of this further.”Bella knew that she could help the pair.

Ruby quickly shook her head.“Oh no your majesty it’s nothing you should concern yourself with.”

“Nonsense, everything that happens in my kingdom concerns me.That includes the desires of my subjects.”Bella was more than willing to help the couple.

Sabrina spoke before Ruby could argue.”Thank you your majesty.”

“It’s no problem.A child is an easy gift to give to such a respectable, noble family.”Bella told them.”Now that we have that taken care welcome to our new strong hold.As you can see you are the first to arrive and we haven’t set anything up yet.”

“Do you have people coming with supplies?”Darwin asked.

“Yes, they should be starting to deliver what we need within a few days.”Charlie would have preferred if they could deliver quicker than that but they were fighting not only the Alaska wilderness but the harsh weather as well.

“What I need from you Darwin is to organize those who show up.I’m told many familiar faces are coming so it should be easy for you to know who to keep away from who.The goal is to keep the fighting amongst the were creatures to a minimum because not only are vampires joining us but witches as well.”Bella smiled as she watched Darwin’s face go pale.

“The witches are coming.”Darwin couldn’t hide the tremble in his voice.

“Not only are the witches coming but I don’t know any of them.”Bella told him.

“Shit.”Sabrina mumbled.

“Now you see why it’s so important that our people are well behaved.The witches are coming out of hiding and will not be very trusting of any of us.”Bella knew that because of that the witches wouldn’t be very kind to anyone who insulted them.

“We will do our best your majesty.”Darwin promised.

“I know you will.Now I’ll leave you with Charles so you can work out a plan before everyone gets here.”Bella said.

“Of your majesty.”Charlie was happy to have Darwin there because he knew the man wouldn’t put up with any nonsense.Neither would wife and if his kids and grandchildren were even half as formable as the pair then they were already starting off good in forming their army.

Bella just nodded in reply as she walked away.Kate, Tanya and Rosalie followed her.”I’m surprised you were able to keep Irina away from them.”

“Carmen and Eleazar have her contained to the kitchen.”Tanya hadn’t trusted Irina to greet the new comers and forbid her from leaving the house.

Bella chuckled.”When my guards get here I will have them spend time with her.”

“There is no need for that.She is just excited.”Tanya said.

“Yes but that genuine excitement will go a long way in showing that the vampire royals are willing to build friendships outside of the vampire world.”Bella predicted that Irina was going to be key in forming alliances between the vampires and other supernaturals that were going to show up.

“I just worry that she will insult someone and get attacked.”Tanya wanted to support Irina’s interests but didn’t want her mate to get hurt.

“That’s why I am going to claim ownership of her.”Bella told her.

Tanya wasn’t sure how she felt about that.”What exactly does it mean to be owned by you?”

“It means that any insult against that person I take as a personal insult.Meaning that if someone messed with Irina I would defend her with my life.Even if she was in the wrong.”Bella explained.

“Do you claim ownership of a lot of people?”Kate wasn’t surprised that Bella would go to such extremes when claiming someone.From what she had learned the dragon was very loyal.

Bella shook her head.”Including Rosalie , Angela, Charles and Beatrice I have only claimed less than a dozen people throughout my life.”

“Then why are you so willing to claim Irina?”Tanya asked.

“Because she is important to not only the cause but to Kate and although Kate jokes about it I can tell she is very worried about how Irina will get along with the others.As Kate is my imprint her worries are my worries so I will do whatever I can to make Kate feel better.”Bella told them.

“I do worry.”Kate admitted.

“That’s admirable.”Rosalie said.

“It is.”Tanya agreed.Knowing what it actually meant for Bella to claim Irina Tanya was more than happy to allow it.Any extra protections for her mate she would take.Especially during a war.

“How are you going to help that couple conceive?”Rosalie asked not able to hold back her curiosity.

“I have different magical spells that will help them.”Bella knew that it would be easy to help the pair have a baby.

Rosalie didn’t understand what Bella meant.”You are able to get a woman pregnant with magic?”

“When my family was alive my sister was deemed barren.I saw the heartbreak she carried for the lost opportunity of having a child.It was because of that when I was at the mage academy I studied conception magic.It took several decades but I was able to help my sister conceive.”Bella smiled sadly thinking of her nieces.

“I shouldn’t have brought it up.I’m sorry Bella.”Rosalie was kicking herself for being so insensitive.

Bella shook off the apology.”You didn’t know.Besides talking about my people strengthens the memories.”

“Well if you ever feel like sharing any of those memories then I will happily volunteer to listen.”Kate told her.

“I will take you up on that sometime.”Bella would enjoy sharing stories of her previous life with her imprint.

“Until then what are we going to do?”Tanya asked.

“Well Darwin will be in charge of the new people coming for now.Once more of the military leaders come they will split responsibility.I’m hoping the witches will show up soon so that we can begin building barracks for everyone.Other than the I am going to begin training once people start to get settled.What do you have planned?”Bella wondered what the vampires were up to as she hadn’t really had a chance to ask Tanya.

“I spoke to our counterparts in Europe and they said they would send people.I expect them to show up beginning tomorrow.I don’t think that many will come initially as the others don’t trust the situation fully yet.”Tanya wasn’t happy to admit that there was conflicts between the royals but she wouldn’t lie to Bella.

“It is no surprise that they are wary of myself and my people.”Bella had expected some pushback from the vampires as it seemed they weren’t used to not being in charge.”I just hope they get over their hangups soon so we can begin to prepare for this war because I have no doubt that the Romanians have learned about us staging here.”

“I hate that you’re right.”Tanya said the others offering murmurs of agreement.They all knew that a war was coming soon and that the fate of the world would be decided by the winner.Tanya just hoped that the Volturi would begin trusting Bella soon because Tanya knew that Bella was the one who was going to save them all.That would only happen if they cooperated.Bella wouldn’t go out of her way to help the Volturi if they weren’t willing to work with her.If they weren’t then a lot of lives would be lost and it would be all the queens’ fault.
