Death's Shadow
Added 2023-07-04 19:50:11 +0000 UTCI've gotten some recent interest in this story and I have to admit the Death's Shadow character was one of my favorite versions of Bella.I think where I went wrong with this story was that I paired Bella with Alice.It's not a pairing I usually write and it was hard for me to write them as a couple.Usually I would pair Bella with Rosalie but because I have Silver Assassin with some Death's Shadow undertones I was thinking about using Tanya instead.I would start the story with them meeting during the Sasha incident and spend a few chapters building their relationship before focusing on the newborn problem.The Cullens would be involved as well but not all of them would make it out alive.I would also make so the only ones who had their minds shielded would be the Denali and the royals.Bella would be unwilling to help others.Tanya would also step in and stop people from demanding things as she has much more of a backbone then Alice ever could.What do you guys think?Should I rewrite it or is the character not worth it?

Like this story sounds great but keep going with Silver Assassin as well.

2023-07-05 23:59:04 +0000 UTCI really like the Deaths Shadow character and she had to change too much to be with Alice. Tonya or even Irina would be a better match. Neither would be demanding or try to soften her up.

2023-07-05 04:07:27 +0000 UTCI usually like Alice/Bella stories but I felt like Deaths Shadow didn’t work as well as it could have because Alice seems like a needy type of mate who would need/want Bella around all the time but with her being a prominent member in the Volturi she can’t and it makes it so Bella has to kind of change everything about herself to make their relationship work. If she’s mates with Tanya she won’t have that problem. Also maybe give her the power to teleport or something so she can do her Volturi duties but still be a part of Tanya’s coven.

2023-07-04 20:08:08 +0000 UTCI love the idea, are you going to make her as mysterious as before and how will that pair into being mates for so long, surely people would know that Death's Shadow was mated to Tanya Denali, so the Cullen's would most likely avoid them, unless they aren't "cousins" in this. I suppose to the public Isabella Denali could be Tanya's mate and Death's Shadow is a avenging myth.
