“We need to tell her.”Didyme said after Aro explained everything that happened in the throne room to the three queens.Diydme wasn’t happy with the news because not only were the Cullens at it again but she knew this situation would upset Bella.Bella had put the Cullens behind her and took the high road letting them live.Something the queen was proud of her daughter for.The anger for what happened after the Cullens deserted Bella was still there but the young vampire had largely moved on from her past.Of course she had help from not only her parents but the other four royals as well.

“You know she will blame herself for this.”Marcus said.

“Maybe she will finally let us have revenge on Carlisle and his merry band of idiots.”Athenodora would be more than happy to dole out punishment to those who had left her niece to the mercy of the red headed nomad.

“She will understand what needs to be done.”Aro was sad that Bella would have to face her past but knew she would do it without complaint.

“Do you think she will want to be involved?”Sulpicia asked.

”Bella will not make anyone else clean up what she will consider her mess.”Caius said.

“I think she would finally move on from what they did if she was the one who dealt with them.”Marcus would prefer not to put Bella through this but his daughter needed closure.Something she had yet to get from the Cullens.

“I would prefer we deal with this for her but you are right it would be a way for her to finally leave this in the past where it belongs.”Didyme said.

“I’ll send for her.”Aro stood from his seat and moved to the door opening it he addressed one of the guards standing in the hallway.”Bring a message to Jane asking for her to join us and to bring the Silver Assassin with her.”

The guard went wide eyed and Aro heard him gulp.”Of course my lord.”

Aro ignored the nervous shifting of the other guards and shut the door returning to his seat on the couch in Didyme and Marcus’ sitting room.”Now we just need to see how she reacts.”

“I think she will be angry not at the situation but with herself.”Sulpicia predicted.

The royals all went quiet when they heard a knock on the door followed by it opening and Jane along with a purple robed vampire wearing a silver mask entered the room.Jane knelt before them.”We are here in response of a summons.”

“You may stand Jane.”Aro told her.

“Thank you my lord.”Jane stood and moved back to stand with the Assassin.

“We have called you here for official business.”Marcus said.

“We are at your service.”Jane figured if they called them to a private room it must be a very important mission.

“This is about the Cullens.”Aro kept his eyes on the Assassin.”It seems that Carlisle has once again allowed Edward to claim a false mate bond with a human.”

Didyme immediately rushed to the Assassin’s side as she heard them growl and saw them shake.Putting her hands on both sides of their mask she spoke.”Bella I need you to focus.We know you are angry but you can’t let it consume you.”

“There is more.They revealed themselves to the human and left her behind without changing or killing her.”Aro figured getting everything out on the table was the best idea.

“Bella, it will be alright.We will fix this.”Jane promised.She was pissed but Jane needed to be strong for her mate as Bella’s needs were always Jane’s priority.

“Tell me what you are feeling.”Didyme felt relieved when Bella took her glove off and grabbed her hand.”I know sweetheart but it is not your fault.”

“Bella you couldn’t have known.Carlisle has kept his nose clean this whole time.No one could have predicted that he would allow Edward to repeat what happened.”Marcus told her.

When Bella shook her head Athenodora was quick to speak.”You will not take responsibility for this happening.None of us will let you.This is Carlisle’s fault.He is so obsessed with making his coven powerful that he indulges the ones with gifts so they won’t leave him.”

“No.”Didyme quickly cut off Bella’s line of thinking.The queen knew it would take time for her daughter to accept the fact that the Cullens weren’t her responsibility.”You couldn’t have prevented this.Even though they left you you were changed so they could claim that no laws were broken.If we brought them before us it would have changed nothing.They would be let go with a warning.That would have only made them more careful when covering up their crimes.”

“My love you know they are right.This is not your fault.”Jane said.

Bella growled again and ripped her hand away from Didyme’s.The queen watched helplessly as Bella punched a hole through the wall.Although Didyme wanted to hold her daughter in her arms and make everything better she could not.When Bella was like this she didn’t like to be touched.Once again Didyme cursed the red headed vampire in her head.If it wasn’t for that woman Bella would probably have been a well adjusted, even mannered vampire.Instead because of the red head’s treatment Bella was prone to fits of strong emotions mostly anger, didn’t like small spaces, and most importantly didn’t like to be touched without permission.Not only did Didyme and Marcus learn that the hard way but poor Jane did as well.It was years before any of them could hug Bella and in the beginning it was almost guaranteed that if you even twitched while holding Bella she would attack you.

“Bella calm down.”Marcus held his hands up as he approached Bella slowly.”We know you are angry at not only the Cullens but yourself but we need to plan how to take care of this.”

Bella took a deep breath then walked over to Athenodora and held out her hand.The queen held it her own.Taking a moment to hear Bella’s thoughts the queen smiled brightly.”I think that is a wonderful idea.”

“What does she have planned?”Caius asked in excitement.Bella may have been Didyme and Marcus’ daughter but when it came to punishments one would think she was his and Athenodora’s.

“Why our little Bella wants to take Jane and a team to round up the Cullens and bring them back to the castle.”Athenodora said.

“She wants to bring them to the castle and then what?”Aro knew that Bella had more planned then just bringing them to the castle.The girl was ruthless to regular law breakers it being the Cullens would make her want to go above and beyond to get her revenge.Aro actually felt pity for Carlisle.There was a reason why Bella was so feared and he and the rest of the Cullens were about to find out.

“Bella wants to make their punishment an event in the arena.”Athenodora told them.

“And what would be happening at this event?”Sulpicia was already making plans on how to get out the invitations.

“She wants it to be a gladiator tournament and the main event will be her fighting the Cullens by herself.”Athenodora gleefully explained.

“That’s a wonderful idea!”Caius was already making a list of guard members that he could match against each other to fight.”We haven’t had a gladiator tournament in centuries.”

“I agree.”Aro was more than happy to put on an event to show off his most valuable guard member.

“I would prefer you not fight all of them at once but I know that you can more than handle yourself.”Didyme didn’t like when Bella dealt with any guard business but allowed it because it was a good outlet for her violent nature.

“She will be fine.”Marcus assured his mate.He to wasn’t a fan of Bella fighting but knew it was the healthiest way for her to deal with her anger.Ever since she was allowed in the training room it had curbed some of her random outburst as it gave her a way to vent her frustrations in a more controlled environment. It helped that she had a never ending line of volunteers who wanted to prove the Silver Assassin wasn’t as tough as her reputation claimed.

“Who do you want to take with you to round them up?”Aro asked Jane.

”We need to make sure they are all together.The problem I see is if they are summoned they will flee.If we go after them individually it will not only take longer but it could cause the others to somehow alert the ones separated.”Jane said.

Caius thought over their options.”Carlisle considers the Denali as allies.We can have Tanya reach out to them and say that they are having problems with some nomads that they need help with.To explain why Alice doesn’t have visions of them we could have her say that she thinks one of the nomads is gifted.”

“That would definitely peak his interest.”Athenodora agreed.

“He would want to find the vampire to either convince them to join his coven or kill them because of their imagined gift.”Sulpicia knew that Carlisle wouldn’t miss the chance to acquire another gifted vampire for his collection.

“And he would need all of his coven to help him do that.”Aro said.

“Then it’s settled.We will send Jane and Bella with a team to the Denali’s home.When they get there they will have Tanya reach out to Carlisle under the pretense of needing help.When Carlisle gets there they will be apprehended and brought back to Italy where we will hold an event with Bella fighting the coven as the main attraction.”Caius told them.

“Bella what do you think?”Didyme asked Bella.Accepting her hand she smiled.”I’m glad you are pleased.”

“That being said get a team ready and leave immediately.We don’t know how long until Carlisle realizes that one of his coven members has betrayed him.”Aro said.Rosalie wasn’t protected from the other’s gifts so it would be easy for the mind reader to find out what she had done.

“We’ll take our leave then.”Jane waited by the door for Bella to say her goodbyes.

“I want you to be alert and not to let your emotions get the better of you.We all know it will be hard when you see them but remember the plan.You will get much more satisfaction in the arena then you would just killing them on sight.”Marcus said getting a nod of agreement from Bella.

“I know no matter what you will make us proud.Now get going.The sooner you leave the sooner you can come back to us.”Didyme smiled and gave Bella’s hand a squeeze before she let go.”We will miss you too.”

“Even if you can’t kill them that doesn’t mean you and Jane can’t have a little fun with them.”Caius said.

“Just don’t kill them.”Athenodora didn’t care if they died she just wanted a chance at them before Bella fought them in the arena.

“Come Bella.”Jane took Bella’s hand in her own and they left.

“You think she will be ok?”Didyme asked.

“She will be fine.”Sulpicia had faith her niece would handle herself professionally.

“She has not only Jane at her side to help but the incentive to keep them alive.”Marcus said.

“True.”Caius agreed.

“I guess we should start planning the event.I think this is the perfect opportunity for those who haven’t seen Bella in action to get their chance.”Aro told them.He knew that many people thought the Silver Assassin was a myth or that she wasn’t that tough.By Bella showing off her skill in the arena it would cause those who doubted the Volturi’s strength to realvaulute their thinking.Watching as the others began planning on what needed to be done Aro felt happy.Not only would he get to throw a huge event but Bella would finally get her revenge on those who caused her so much trauma.Even though she said she didn’t need it all of the royals knew that Bella would never truly be at peace until the Cullens were dealt with.Tuning back into the conversation Aro decided that he would do everything in his power to make sure the Cullens were as humiliated as possible.Not that he doubted the others royals wouldn’t do the same.
