Silver Assassin 2

“Ahh Tanya it’s been too long.”Aro’s voice thundered through the throne room.Tanya held back a flinch at being addressed directly.It would do no good for her to show fear in front of the kings and their guard.She hated that she was in this position but after her interactions with Rosalie she knew that it would come to this.Tanya and her coven never fully trusted the Cullens.So hearing of their indiscretions was of no surprise.

“It has my king.”Tanya agreed.

“We are very interested to hear what you have to tell us.It is unlike you to ask for a meeting let alone claim it is an emergency.”Aro said.

“I have information on the Cullens.”Tanya told him.

“What have they done?”Aro asked.

“A few decades ago they visited us in Alaska.I noticed that one of their members Rosalie was acting strange.Normally the girl is quiet and doesn’t speak much but is personable and is willing to engage.This time however she was obviously depressed.I would normally dismiss it but when I went to speak to her to see if I could help in some way I was denied.Not by her but members of her coven.It wasn’t just once either.Every time I sought her out someone would come and interrupt us.”Tanya said.

Caius rolled his eyes.“Why do we care if a vampire is depressed?”

“It’s all relative my lord.”Tanya promised.

“Proceed.”Aro said.

“Before they left I gave Rosalie my phone number to contact me in case she needed help.”Tanya said picking up the story.”Yesterday I received text messages from the girl claiming the Cullens have committed many crimes.”

“What crimes would those be?”Aro asked.

“She claimed that 50 years ago Edward revealed to a human that they were vampires and then left the girl with the knowledge without killing her or turning her.”Tanya watched with interest as the kings’ faces held no surprise or outrage at the claim.

“That’s a serious accusation.Does she have proof?”Aro asked.

“Although that human is now dead that isn’t the only crime they have committed.It seems as young Edward claimed the original girl as his mate.”Tanya was still confused when the kings’ faces remained impassive.If she didn't know any better she would think that the kings already knew about this.

“And why is it the girl took so long to report this?”Caius asked.

“Because Edward repeated his crimes.”Tanya took step back hearing the kings growl.

“Explain!!”Marcus demanded.

Even though it was odd that Marcus was the one who spoke as the man hardly said anything Tanya didn’t hesitate to sell out Edward.”He found another human who he claimed was his second chance mate.As with the first time the boy decided to leave the human behind with the knowledge of vampires without changing or killing her.”

“Why is it Rosalie has decided to go against her sire to tell you this?”Aro asked.

“From my observations I believe that she is controlled by the sire command and wishes to be free of Carlisle.Somehow she has gotten around that to reach out to me.However Alice may have seen not only Rosalie’s actions but our conversation as well.”Tanya knew that Alice kept a close watch on the Volturi.It would be guaranteed that she knew everything that was happening.

”I assure you that Alice has not seen this conversation.”Caius said.

Tanya was very confused by the smirk Caius was sporting.”How could she not my lord?”

“That’s none of your concern.”Aro snapped.

“Of course.”Tanya was curious but was smart enough not to push.

“Now it seems we have a lot of things to consider brothers.”Aro mused.

“I agree but let us do that in private.”Marcus said.

”You are dismissed but I warn you if you or any of your coven speak to anyone about this meeting or what the Cullens are up to then we will send the Silver Assassin after you.”Caius warned.

Tanya shivered at the threat.“I will not fail you.”

“See that you don’t.”Aro said.

Taking the dismissal for what it was Tanya quickly made her way out of the throne room.She wasn’t going to stick around any longer.Tanya knew it was the right thing to do to help Rosalie but was not happy that the vampire got the Denali involved in something that the Silver Assassin was a part of.Tanya feared that vampire coming after her more than she did the Witch Twins.She amended that thought.She feared the Silver Assassin more when they came for you with Jane by their side as the pair were spotted together quite often.It didn’t matter to Tanya though.She and her coven wouldn’t be telling anyone anything.Unlike the Cullens the Denali knew better than to break the law.
