“Why are your eyes green?”Kate asked Tanya from her spot on the couch in the living room where she was holding her sleeping puppy.All the vampires were gathered in the living room except the mated trio.Kate frowned when after Tanya entered the room Isabella followed behind her.Kate really wanted the woman to go back to where ever she came from and leave her alone.She didn’t care what the others said Kate knew that Isabella was just waiting for the perfect time to strike.

“Because that is what color they were when I was human.”Tanya told her.

“What do you mean?”Edith asked.”Why would it matter what color they were when you were human?”

“Do I hear two heart beats?”Eleazar inquired causing the room to go quiet.It was then that everyone heard the two heart beats.

“What the fuck?Are you guys human now?”Emmett wasn’t sure what was going on but he could see the differences to both Tanya and Rosalie’s bodies.

Tanya shook her head.”No we are not human.”

“But you look human and we can hear your hearts beat.”Alice pointed out.

“The changes are temporary.”Rosalie told them.

“How did they happen in the first place?”Jasper asked.

“When we drank Isabella’s blood it caused our bodies to turn human again.”Tanya explained.

“Can she turn us human too?”Kate wasn’t a fan of Isabella but if she could turn them human again she was more than interested.

”You will not be drinking my mate’s blood.”Rosalie growled.

Kate held up her hands in defense.“Geeez I was just asking.No need to get upset.”

“So you are saying that the goddess of life’s blood can turn a vampire human again?”Eleazar had never heard of a vampire changing back and wanted to know exactly how it happened.

“Like Rosalie said it is only temporary.We don’t actually know how long it will last as we are the first vampires to ever try her blood.”Tanya could see the interest in the others eyes and although she understood she was not willing to let the others drink from her mate.

“So you are completely human now?”Alice asked.

“For the time being yes.”Rosalie confirmed.

“What are you going to do with your new found humanity?”Carmen asked.

“First we are going to go out to eat.Both myself and Rosalie are hungry for human food.”Tanya actually wanted to get going soon because she didn’t want to miss out on the chance to eat.

“Oh yeah you can eat now.”Emmett began to think of all the different kinds of food he could eat if he had the chance.He would start with the many different flavors of ice cream.

“You know I don’t think it’s fair that you guys get the chance to gain so much of your humanity back.I mean not only does you skin not sparkle anymore but you have the necklaces that make your body the same temperature as human and now you have a chance to actually be human.You even got to hang out with forest creatures.”Kate thought it was very unfair that Isabella treated everyone but her so well.

“I think the fact that Isabella is our mate is the reason that we are able to benefit from her many gifts.”Tanya told her.

“It’s not just that though.Isabella has been nice to everyone but me.I mean when we first met she attacked me but when she met the rest of you she was nice and let you cuddle animals.”Kate said.

Rosalie growled at Kate.”You attacked her first!!”

“Because she threatened me!”Kate thought she was well within her right to attack Isabella.

“I threatened you?”This was the first time Isabella had heard of her threatening Kate.

”Yes, you told me I should leave the forest and not come back.Then you said you knew who I was and that I was a vampire.It was just logical that I try to capture you to take you home to interrogate you.”Kate knew everyone else would have done the same.

“You tried to capture her?!!”Rosalie roared as she took off after Kate.

“What the fuck?!”Kate screeched as she jumped out of the way of Rosalie’s fist.It seemed Rosalie was undeterred though and went right after Kate chasing her around the room.

Tanya grabbed Rosalie around the middle when she made a move past where she was standing.”My love, although Kate definitely deserves whatever punishment you have planned for her.”

“Hey!!”Kate was highly offended that her sister justified her mate’s actions.

“As I was saying Kate is more than deserving of whatever punishment you want to dole out.”Tanya continued ignoring Kate’s protests.”I just think you should plan to attack her when your body is a vampire not a human.A human with a body that is vulnerable.”

Rosalie stopped struggling in Tanya’s arms.”You are right.If I want to do damage I need to be stronger.”

“I really don’t think I deserve any kind of punishment for anything.I was the one attacked.”Kate grumbled.

“Kate shut it.”Tanya scolded her sister.

“How about we go find some human food.We don’t know how long you will remain human and you have already used quite a bit of time already.”Isabella hoped that by changing the subject it would give Kate some time to come up with a proper apology because the goddess had no doubt if Kate didn’t make amends then Rosalie would try and kill her.

Tanya pulled out her phone and looked a the timer.”We have already wasted an hour.”

“Let’s get going.”Rosalie sent a glare at Kate smirking when Kate flinched.

“If you are planning on becoming human in the future then I am more than willing to cook for you.”Carmen offered.

“That would be nice thank you Carmen.”Tanya easily accepted because she knew that cooking was one of Carmen’s passions.One that the woman didn’t get to indulge in often.

“Then I will go to the grocery store for you.Unless you have a requests?”Carmen was already making a list in her head of the different meals she would like to make for the trio.

“We are both very out of touch with the way food is these days so why don’t you surprise us.”Rosalie said.

“Perfect.I’ll get started on a list.”Carmen was very excited to able to use her kitchen.

“With that we are leaving.Let us know if anything happens.Isabella has set up security measures so we will know if someone is on our property that shouldn’t be here.If someone is detected we will let you know right away.With Rosalie and myself being human for the time being it will be up to your guys to deal with it.Something I apologize for.”Tanya hadn’t really thought of the repercussions of what turning back to human would mean for their coven.She did have faith in the rest of the group to handle anything that came though.

“We will take care of everything don’t worry.”Edith said.

“Even though my mates can’t be involved I can.It won’t fall on just you to protect everyone.”Isabella told them.

“I feel better knowing we have your help.”Eleazar wasn’t much of a fighter neither was his mate and although the Cullen children were willing to help only Jasper had any real experience.With Tanya not able to participate it left them at a severe disadvantage.Having a goddess stand with them would tip the scales in their favor.

Tanya checked her phone.”We really should go.”

“We will see you later.”Rosalie called over her shoulder as she was dragging Isabella by the hand out the door with her.She was excited to be going on a human date with her mates.When she first smelt the scent of Isabella Rosalie could never imagine her life would have turned out like this.Mated to a goddess and her best friend, leaving Carlisle’s coven,able to have a child of her own, being immune to the sun, able to have a human body temperature and now having the chance to actually be human.It was something she could never have dreamed of.That didn’t mean she was going to take it for granted though.The All Father for some reason chose her and Tanya to be mated to his daughter and Rosalie was going to prove that she was worthy of being picked.
