“I need to leave tomorrow to go back on tour.”Bella told Rosalie.The pair had spent the day turning the Denali back to human and now they were in Rosalie’s room laying on her bed.The healing alone didn’t cause that much strain on Bella but the drama of being at the Cullen home had exhausted her.She would much rather deal with fae politics than self righteous vampires.

“I knew you would have to get back soon.”Rosalie said.

“Yes, well as it is I haven’t gotten a chance to rehearse with the local bands that Sebastian picked out.”Bella usually moved from one city to the next very quickly to give her time to meet with the local bands they picked for the encores.The fact that she had never met the three for the Portland show meant that they may not get much of a chance to rehearse before they preformed together.

“Are you signing any of them?”Rosalie asked.

Bella shook her head.”Sebastian makes those decisions and said that he didn’t feel like putting in the time with them.”

“How many of the encore acts do you usually sign?”Rosalie had assumed they had signed most of them.

“Maybe 4 or 5 each world tour.”Bella told her.

“That’s not that many.”With how many concerts Bella did on a tour Rosalie was surprised to find that was less than 10% of the acts.

“The record company is Sebastian’s hobby.I help out with whatever he asks for but besides scouting an act every now and then I don’t really have that much involvement.”Bella wasn’t that interested in spending her time running the business.She was busy enough and her son really enjoyed having the responsibility all to himself.

“How does he decide who to sign?”Rosalie asked.

“He researches as much as he can about each act like what kind of following they have, how much effort they put into promoting themselves, who their fans are, things like that.If he is still interested after what he found he goes to shows to watch them preform.For the final stage he invites those he’s still interested in to perform at a showcase with other acts.It gives not only the people who preform a chance to show off but the ones who haven’t preformed yet a chance to see what it’s like.”Bella explained.”He does about three showcases a year.”

“That’s a lot of work.I would have figured that he have other people do it for him.”Rosalie would have thought Sebastian would delegate that kind of work to his employees.

“The music industry is his main passion right now so he is putting in a lot of effort in the hobby.I think he will start passing on the work soon though because he has been talking about writing a screen play to a movie he eventually wants to direct himself.I fully believe that you and I will be asked to star in it so be prepared to fight off the puppy dog eyes he will give you if you truly don’t want to do it.”Bella knew that her son would want Rosalie to be involved in his next venture.

“I don’t know how I feel about that.”Rosalie had been conditioned to keep a low profile but with the blessings Bella gave her she had a way to be a part of society without anyone catching on that she wasn’t a normal human.It made things like being a movie star something she could actually do.She just wasn’t sure she wanted to do it.

“I will stop him from pestering you if you really want to tell him no to anything he asks you to do.”Bella promised.

“Thank you.”Rosalie leaned over and kissed Bella softly.”That being said when do we leave to go to Portland?”

Bella smiled brightly hearing that Rosalie was already planning on going.”Well the latest I wish to leave is noon tomorrow.I will have my people pack up Sebastian’s and my hotel rooms so we don’t need to worry about that.Then we can have the tour bus meet us here so we don’t have to worry about going back to Seattle.”

“Who rides on the tour bus with you?”Rosalie asked.

“Just the driver, myself and Sebastian ride on the bus.”Bella didn’t like to be surrounded by to many people and normally only had Sebastian and some of her security people with her.Even then the security people left her alone and didn’t speak unless spoken to.

“That’s not bad.”Rosalie wouldn’t mind riding with just Sebastian.That actually bought with it a thought.”What are you going to do about Irina?I doubt that she will want to be left behind.”

“That’s something we all need to decide.I won’t force Irina to stay away from Sebastian as that would be extremely cruel but I know that with how close she is to her coven she won’t want to be separated from them either.”Bella didn’t really want all of them going with them but wasn’t sure what the alternative would be.

“That’s true.If Irina comes with us then at least Tanya and Kate will want to come.I don’t think Eleazar and Carmen will want to go on tour with a rock star but the sisters won’t want to be separated from each other.”Rosalie knew that at least Kate would fight to come.Going on tour with Bella would be to exciting an opportunity to pass up.

“We are going to need to send someone shopping if we are going to have at least three new humans coming with us.”Bella was already making a list of things they would need.

“I need a couple things as well.”Rosalie was planning on stealing things from Bella to cover her human needs but Bella didn’t have everything that Rosalie needed to take care of herself.

“We will make a list in the morning.”Bella didn’t want to think about shopping right then.

“What should we do about Carlisle?”Rosalie knew they couldn’t leave him sleeping when they left.

“I think we should discuss that with Esme.”As Carlisle was Esme’s mate Bella would defer to her on what she wanted to do with the man.

“I honestly don’t know what she will chose.She was very upset with him when we woke him up for her.”Rosalie said.

“I was surprised he actually attacked her.The man is obviously unstable but to attack your mate is just unbelievable.”After Bella’s people woke Carlisle up for Esme the man was still furious.He refused to listen to anything Esme had said to him and when she disagreed with him kicking the family out of the house he had become violent.Bella’s guards had had to restrain the man and after getting permission from a distraught Esme put him back to sleep.Bella had been shocked by the whole incident.

“I was as well.The Carlisle I have spent the last century with was always peaceful and encouraged us to talk things out.Violence was something he told us we should avoid at all costs.This version that is so hell bent on making sure Edward becomes human is not someone I recognize.”Rosalie said.

“It seemed he was level headed until Edward was involved.It was like Edward being denied was the trigger that sent him towards madness.Has he always been so fanatical about his devotion to the boy?”Bella asked.

Rosalie thought about how Carlisle treated Edward.”He has always put Edward before anything else.That includes Esme as well.If I didn’t know they were actual mates I would think Carlisle and Edward were mated to each other.”

“Sometimes the sire bond forms a stronger bond than that of a mate bond.That could be the case with the two of them.Edward being his first turned after being alone for so long could also be a factor in the level of devotion.”Bella knew the sire bond was extremely strong with some vampires and if Carlisle had been without a companion for centuries then his first turned could have taken the place of even a mate in his eyes.

“My bond to him isn’t that strong.I wonder if that’s because I met my mate while I was human.”Rosalie had rejected any type of relationship with Carlisle because of his intent to keep her from Bella when she was first turned.Even after Rosalie had gained control of her vampire enough to be around humans Carlisle had all but forbid her from searching out her beloved.If it wasn’t for Emmett and Veronica encouraging her Rosalie may have killed the man for his many attempts at keeping her away from Bella.

“Because I’m a fae our bond was solidified.Even though you were human our connection was as strong as it would be for a mated vampire.That would have traveled over when you turned.I’m actually surprised you didn’t go a little insane while being separated.”Bella said.

“I always wondered why I was never interested in finding a mate or even dating anyone.I just thought I was still in mourning.”When Rosalie been first turned and Carlisle tried to tell her that because Bella was a human that she would feel nothing for her and that she needed to move on and wait for her true mate Rosalie had to be held back by Emmett and his mate from attacking the man.She had never had a doubt that Bell was the one for her and him constantly telling her otherwise caused a huge riff between them.

“Since I was alive the bond was never broken.You wouldn’t have been able to move on unless I died.”Bella explained.

Rosalie pulled Bella into her arms.”Don’t talk about dying.I already lost you once I don’t even want to think about losing you again.”

“You don’t have to worry about that.I’m very hard to kill, Rose.”Bella joked.

“Well let’s not even tempt fate by discussing it.”Rosalie wasn’t superstitious but she would take even the smallest precautions to keep Bella safe.

“In my next prayer session I will make sure to ask god’s forgiveness for us even considering he would revoke his gift from us.”Bella needed to have some private time for prayer.She had only had given short acknowledgements of her god in her life lately.

“I haven’t seen you pray yet.Is it different from how humans do it?”Rosalie asked.

Bella shook her head.”No, not really.Most do exactly what humans do.Kneeling and thanking god or asking for his help and guidance.Our church is similar to the Catholic Church where the priest and priestess devote their lives to our god.I sometimes wonder if a fae invented the religion for humans it’s so similar.”

“How do you pray?”Rosalie wouldn’t be surprised if humans copied the fae church.They stole most of their culture from others.

“I usually spend an hour each morning kneeling outside facing the sunrise in prayer.That’s just the day to day though.Ever since the incident with finding the spell for immortality I spend a week straight every year in my private temple fasting and staying awake praying before a statue of our god.”Bella told her.

“Have you heard god speak to you again?”Rosalie wondered if god had spoken to Bella once more and that’s why she had devoted the time to praying.

“I won’t lie to you even though it will give you more ammunition to think I’m an angel.However I would prefer you don’t speak of what I’m about to tell you with anyone.”Bella said.

“I would never tell a soul anything you told me in private.”Rosalie was somewhat excited to hear what Bella was about to confess.

“Thank you.To answer your question yes I believe god has spoken to me numerous times.He was the one who led me to you.”Bella told her.

“What?!”Rosalie hadn’t expected that.

“It was on the last day of my week long session when he told me that I was going to receive a gift that I earned for my selfless acts.He told me to visit the land of humans and find the most beautiful flower I could.When I emerged after the week was over I spent a few days regaining my strength and when I was ready I picked a random spot to start my search.I ended up in Rochester and within an hour of walking around I laid eyes on you.”Bella told her.

“God put us together?”Rosalie wasn’t sure she actually believed that.

Bella nodded.”Either it was him or I have some kind of sight because I found you right away.”

“I don’t know what to think about this.”Rosalie truly believed that Bella was an angel and that she had at least spoken to god once.She also knew that her mate dedicated her life to helping others and had been doing so for thousands of years.It made sense that she would be rewarded.The problem was Rosalie didn’t feel worthy enough to be a gift from god.

“I know it’s a lot to wrap your head around.I’ve had many millennia to get used to it.You haven’t even had a week yet.”Bella was surprised Rosalie was taking everything so well.She actually expected her to freak out a few days ago.

“It’s just one more thing to come to terms with.”Rosalie knew there would be many more things as time went on.

“I’m sorry you have to go through so much change to be with me.”Bella wished that life was actually as simple as it was when they first met.Just two girls in love planning to spend the rest of their lives together.

Rosalie climbed on top of Bella and straddled her.”Never apologize for being in my life.I don’t care what I have to deal with to be with you I will gladly adapt.Also it isn’t just you who brings challenges to this relationship I do as well.I mean look at all that has happened since we came to Forks.You have had to deal with my family and a lot of violence and fighting.”

“I would do it a thousand times over to be with you.”Bella told her.

“Good then we are agreed.Both of us would take on the world to be together.”Rosalie leaned down and kissed Bella passionately.”Now instead of dwelling on things we can’t change let’s focus on the fact that we have a few hours of uninterrupted alone time before we have to talk with my family again.”

Bella laced her hands through Rosalie’s hair and pulled her down for a kiss.”I like the way you think.”

“If you like that idea I have a few others that are even better.”Rosalie said as she reached for Bella’s shirt to lift it over her head.She had a feeling that once they went back on tour she and Bella wouldn’t be getting that much private time and wanted to take advantage of the little they did get.As she shed her shirt and bra Rosalie made a mental note to get a schedule from Bella for the rest of the trip.Maybe she could work out a few days to themselves in the schedule.That could wait until later though.Right now she was naked lying on her equally as naked mate and nothing was more important than focusing on that.
