“I wish we we had time to go back to Forks before we moved on to the Volturi.”Rose lamented as she,Rosalie and Isabella made their way through the pyramid searching for the group of vampires.Isabella rolled her eyes as she watched her friend shove yet another artifact into her pocket.She knew that Rose was actually really excited about the kidnapping job she just hated that she didn’t have a chance to steal more stuff.

“You are just mad that you can’t loot the place properly.”Isabella said.

“No I just miss the others.”Rose told her obviously lying.

“No you don’t.You just hate the fact that you have already filled your pockets with stuff and don’t have anywhere else to store things.”Isabella corrected.

“Well if you were truly my friend you would offer your own pockets.Or one of the storage boxes I know you keep in your jacket.”Rose knew that Isabella had more storage spaces than she did because of her travels.

“Those storage boxes are for emergencies not to store your stolen goods.”Isabella said.

“How many empty ones do you have?”Rose asked.

“Not enough to give you.”Isabella replied.

“Come on.Just one.”Rose begged.

“Why don’t you stop worrying about what you can carry and focus on the real reason we are here.”Isabella told her.

“Fine but if they have cool stuff at the castle you better let me have one or least let me have some of your pocket space.”Rose grumbled.

“Anyway, what exactly are we going to do when we reach the vampires?”Rosalie asked trying to stop the fighting between her two companions.

“Well because of how many vampires we expect to be in the group we don’t have to worry about being stealthy.Since this is the outpost Edward was sent to we want to get our information and send a message.”Isabella explained.

“What message?”Rosalie asked.

“The message that someone is hunting Edward and anyone who aides him is in just as much danger.”Isabella explained.

“Won’t that make it so they go after us sooner?”Rosalie thought they wanted to stop Edward not force his hand.

Isabella shook her head.”No because they won’t know who it is.Edward doesn’t know about your gift.So when we confront the vampires we are going to rough them up take a few limbs, interrogate them and erase their memories.The only things they will be able to tell anyone about the attack is that whoever hurt them was after Edward.”

“And that will have them weary of working with Edward because someone who is powerful enough to not only track Edward to their secret layer but is able to hurt them and leave no trace or memories of the event will cause them a great deal of fear.That fear will have them second guessing if Edward’s cause is worth having that person as an enemy.”Rose didn’t doubt that many of those who followed Edward would refuse to go along with him anymore for fear of the repercussions.

“How will that get us closer to Edward though?”Rosalie thought the whole point was tracking the people with Edward to find the boy.

“Enough vampires will talk about what is about to happen here that anyone who sees Edward will warn others to stay away from him.It will also start the rumor mill which will give us his location quicker as people will tell others of their sightings of him.”Isabella figured that once he knew about the threat Edward would reveal himself to others just to boast about of how fearless he was and that there was no way anyone could defeat him.His pride would be what leads them to him.

Rose thrusted her hand in the air in excitement.”Then we swoop in and kill the bastard.”

“I want to be there when it happens.”Rosalie wasn’t going to miss the chance to get her own revenge on Edward.

“You may not be able to hurt him physically as it will probably be Tanya who will have the killing blow but that doesn’t mean you can’t use your gift to get him to do anything you want.”Isabella told her.

“I personally plan on having him spill the details of his priest fetish.”Rose knew that would be worse than death for Edward.Admitting that he was the very thing he hates would kill a big part of him.

“I didn’t think of that.”Rosalie would have to plan out something for her former brother.Rose’s idea was good but Rosalie was going to make sure hers was better.That way she could impress her family with how far along she had come with her gift.

“Well you will have to think about it later because we have found our vampires.”Isabella slowed her steps when the trio came up to the entrance of a large room.”I think they are using a throne room.”

“How original.I had hoped that they would be in some secret torture room or something cooler than a throne room.I thought these vampires were supposed to be ruthless.”Rose complained.

“Why don’t you channel that annoyance into anger and use it to beat the crap out of the idiots.”Isabella suggested.

Rose smiled brightly at the idea.”Come on Rosalie pull out your daggers we are about to have some fun.”

“I got this.”Rosalie mumbled to herself as she pulled her daggers.Taking stock of her emotions she found that she was rather excited about the idea of going all out on the bunch of morons who were working with Edward.It may not be as good as killing the man boy himself but it was a step in keeping Bella safe.

“Rose you’re in charge.How do you want to do this?Just remember we aren’t going to kill them yet.”Isabella would let Rose have control so she could work off some of her frustrations.Although she wasn’t complaining that much Isabella knew her friend was getting bored and was missing her mate.Giving her a chance to lead the charge would make her feel better.

“Alright.”Rose poked her head through the open door to access the situation.”We have 13 vampires in there.One of them looks wicked old so we should assume that is Amun.Isabella you go for him while Rosalie and I take care of the others.”

“I can do that.”Isabella easily agreed because if she only had to take care of one person she could focus on keeping Rose and Rosalie safe with her shield.

“For you I want you to go in there hard and fast.Do anything you can to subdue them.Be it by using your gift or cutting their head and limbs off.We can choose what to burn and reattach later.”Rose told Rosalie.

“I can do that.”Rosalie wasn’t going to fail.This was a huge chance to prove her worth to Isabella and Rose and she wasn’t going to let them down.

“Once we realize who the earth mover is I’ll contain him until one of you gets the chance to use your gift on him.”Isabella would be able to hold the boy down but wouldn’t be able to counteract his gift.It would be up to Rosalie or Rose to implant the demand to stop him.

Rose bounced on the balls of her feet and stretched her arms out in her pre battle ritual.”Then we have a plan.Isabella you go first.”

“See you on the other side.”Isabella said as she walked into the room without a care in the world invisible to all those she passed.

“Why doesn’t she use her sword?”Rosalie noticed that Isabella carried it with her and figured that this would be the perfect situation to use it.

“She doesn’t need the sword.She only created it to see if she actually could.Tanya is the reason she carries it because she is convinced that Isabella is safer when she uses it.”Rose told her.

“That makes sense.”Rosalie knew that if Emmet ever had to go on a mission like the ones Isabella went on that she would prefer he bring his gloves.

“She’s in position you ready?”Rose asked.Getting a nod from Rosalie she pointed to the right side of the room.”You go right I go left and remember even if you don’t realize it Isabella will not let anything happen to you.”

“I trust her.”Rosalie knew if it wasn’t for that trust she wouldn’t even had volunteered to go with Isabella and Rose.

“Good on the count of three.One..Two..Three.”Rose didn’t wait to see if Rosalie was following her as she ran into the room and attacked the first vampire she came across.It wasn’t until she had been in the middle of cutting the third vampire she encountered in half that she heard someone sound the alarm.Knowing that Isabella and Rosalie would be fine on their own she ignored the rest of the room and took out the next vampire by slicing off her legs.

“Rosalie to me.”Isabella called out as she spotted the earth mover waving his arms and the floor of the pyramid start to split from were she was holding Amun.

Rosalie didn’t even hesitate as she sliced the head of the vampire she was fighting and rushed to Isabella.She had taken out four vampires so far and was very proud of herself.They had been a lot harder to fight then the newborns and Rosalie was happy that she had spent some one on one time training with Isabella because if she hadn’t then she wouldn’t have made it past the first opponent.Shoving a charging vampire out of her way she made it to Isabella as the she had just tackled a vampire to the ground.”What do you need.”

“This is the earth mover.I need you to command him not to use his gift and to remain still.”Isabella told her.

“Got it.”Rosalie straddled the boy,took his face in her hands and ignored the rest of the room.She wasn’t worried about being hurt because Isabella was standing right there protecting her.Making eye contact with the boy she commanded.”You will not move or use your gift unless I command otherwise.”

“Oh no you don’t.”Isabella mumbled as a tanned skinned female vampire rushed Rosalie.If Isabella had to guess this was probably the boy’s mate.Not wasting anytime she took the woman’s legs and sent her across the room with her shield.”You good Rosalie?”

“Yeah I’m fine.”Rosalie stood and looked around the room.If she didn’t know what really happened she would have thought that a tornado had passed through with all the damage that was done.Other than some of them screaming none of the other vampires were moving that much.Searching for Rose she sighed in relief when she found her perfectly fine lining vampires up against the wall.

“Help Rose subdue the vampires with your gift.Don’t worry about putting them back together.We’ll deal with that when we are done.”Isabella told her.”And make them stop screaming.It’s annoying.”

“Got it.”Rosalie moved to the other side of the room and began to arrange them the way Isabella had told her to.

Isabella moved her way back to the man she guessed was Amun.She had removed all the man’s limbs and he was nothing but a head on a torso.Even in his not so great predicament the man had a look of defiance in his eyes and had not screamed once.”As you can see we have destroyed not only your stronghold but your soldiers.We honestly don’t care about you or the idiots you work for.We are here to discuss someone else.”

“I won’t tell you thing you bitch.”Amun spit out.

“Then maybe you will tell my friend.”Isabella dropped him on the floor and started reattaching his limbs.

“What are you doing?”Amun asked in confusion.

“It’s better to have a fully intact body when you begin an interrogation.”Isabella told him.

“Oh it’s going to be one of those kind of days.”Rose said cheerfully as she watched Isabella reassemble the man.

“What do you mean?”Rosalie asked.

“Well usually Isabella would just have me compel him to give her the answers she wanted but if she is putting him back together she is annoyed.That means she wants to play with him a little bit before she tags me in on the fun.”Rose explained.

Rosalie looked at Isabella in concern.”Are you ok?”

“Me?Oh yes I’m perfectly fine.I just think that Amun deserves a few more scars as reminder of our time together because he won’t be able to remember me at all.”Isabella said.

“I see.”Rosalie didn’t but didn’t think it was a good idea idea to ask when Isabella seemed to be in a weird mood.

Isabella wrapped her shield around Amun’s body and used it to guide him to the golden bejeweled throne at the end of the room.Once there she called for Rose.”Hey Rose how do you feel about being queen for the day?”

“I would love the chance.”Rose quickly made her way to the throne and sat down.

“Now it’s only proper for you to kneel before your queen.”Isabella released Amun from the shield then kicked the back of his knees forcing him to kneel.She used her arms to restrain him as he tried to get away.”Now when your queen asks you a question you are to answer her.If she dislikes the answer her twin is going to punish you.Do you understand?”

“I will not kneel to anyone.”Amun screeched as he struggled against Isabella.

“And yet that is exactly what you are doing.”Isabella grabbed Amuns head and made him look at Rose.”Now my queen you may begin your questioning.”

Rose smiled brightly.It wasn’t often that Isabella was this annoyed.Although it was fun when it happened she would have to speak to her bond mate once this was over with.Something was bothering her friend and Rose knew that it needed to be dealt with before Isabella got fed up with the world and just started killing everyone.It wouldn’t be the first time Isabelle went overboard but usually they had the rest of the guard to help clean up the mess.”Now my faithful subject.Where is Edward?”

“Edward?You’re here because of the mind reader?”Amun asked in obvious shock.

“So you do know him.Now where is he?”Rose asked again.

“I don’t know.”Amun replied.

“Rosalie.”Isabella said.

“Got it.”Rosalie didn’t even question the command.She walked up to Amun and spoke.”I want you to remove your big toe off of your left foot and throw it in the fire.”

“I’m not going to…”Was all Amun got out before he did exactly what Rosalie asked and removed his toe and threw it in one of the fires that were lighting the room.After he was done he looked at Rosalie fearfully.”Who the hell are you people?”

“Now I will ask again where is Edward?”Rose growled out.

Amun flinched when Rosalie made a step towards him.”I don’t know.”

“Rosalie.”Isabella said again.

“I mean it!! I don’t know.”Amun screeched as Rosalie stood in front of him.

“I want you to remove both of your thumbs and throw them in the fire.”Rosalie told him.

“Please don’t make me…”Amun screamed as he ripped his own thumbs off and tossed them into the fire.

“Now once again where is Edward.”Rose asked.

“Please I don’t know.Don’t hurt me.”Amun begged.

“I think he’s telling the truth.”Isabella could tell the man was a coward and would easily sell out Edward to save himself.

“When Edward was here what did you talk about?”Rose figured if he didn’t know where Edward was he would at least be able to give them a clue.

“He was angry.Claimed his mates had been kidnapped and the Volturi refused to help him.That’s why he came to us.He wanted to get his mate back.”Amun’s eyes shifted from Rose’s and Rosalie’s as he spoke.

“Why would you help him get his mate back?”Rose asked.

“He said that his mate was powerful.That she could not only shield her own mind but could shield others as well.He promised that if we helped him get her back he would have her shield us as well.”Amun told them.

“What help did you give him?”Rose wasn’t pleased to confirm what Edward was doing.

“The plan was to send out scouts to do recon on the area and find out who had kidnapped the girl.We were waiting for a team to be assembled by our leaders.Every thing was fine for about a week.Then Edward decided that we were taking to long.Started claiming that we weren’t really going to help him but were trying to keep him distracted while we kidnapped the girl ourselves.The boy was extremely paranoid.He left us a little over three weeks ago.I haven’t heard from since.”Amun said.

Isabella thought over everything Amun had just told them.It seemed to fit with what she knew about Edward.It did bring up another question though.”And was he right?Are you going to try and kidnap his so called mate?”

“When he left it was decided that we would take the girl for ourselves.”Amun shook with fear when the trio all growled at him.

“You think you can take what does not belong to you or even Edward?”Rosalie roared as she wrapped her hand around Amun’s throat.She hadn’t never been so pissed in her entire life.Not only did Edward think he could take Bella and do whatever he wanted to her but these idiots did as well.She wasn’t going to let that happen to her sister.Rosalie decided right then that she would kill every single one of the Romanians and their so called army just for thinking they had right to Bella.

Rose wrapped her arm around Rosalie and pulled her close.”Rosalie calm down.If you kill him quickly you will be upset with yourself.”

“You’re right.”Rosalie looked into Amun’s eyes and commanded.”I want you to rip off your own right arm and burn it in the fire.Then I want you to remove your left foot and burn it as well.”

“Please…”Amun chocked out as Rosalie increased the pressure around his throat causing cracks to form.

Rosalie felt a wave of satisfaction wash over her as the man did exactly as she order him.Once he was done she threw him to the ground and kicked him hard in the side.”I wish you would remember who did this to you but since you can’t I will take great pleasure in remembering for the both of us.”

“Let’s clean up this mess and burn what we don’t want to reattach.”Isabella said.

“What should we do about the earth mover?”Rose asked.

“Kill him.We don’t need to have someone like that coming after the rest of us.”Isabella told her.

“True we wouldn’t be able to defend ourselves if he somehow figured out a way to get around my command.”Rosalie knew that her family would be in big trouble if the earth mover came for them.It was better he was dead.That thought made her stop for a second and take stock of all that she had just done.While she was walking into this room she was giving herself a pep talk to gather the courage to even inflict injury on the vampires.Even after they were done she still held on to the fact that she hadn’t killed that many.It was only when Amun had told them about kidnapping Bella that something inside of her broke.Having experienced what could happen at the hands of evil men and imagining something so much worse than that happening to Bella had turned a switch and had made her want to kill everyone involved in the plan.Maybe this was what Isabella and Rose had been talking about.There was no way they would be able to reason with Amun and if he claimed to change sides she would never trust him.That was because he was a vampire.Not a person.Surprisingly the realization didn’t depress Rosalie she actually found she felt empowered with the new knowledge.
