When Dawn Breaks 62

“Now that my body temperature is different I can understand why people love hot tubs so much.”Rosalie said as she reclined against the wall of the hot tub.She and Bella had spent the day at Tamera’s and when they finally got home Bella ate dinner and they decided to catch up with everything in the hot tub.Well Rosalie had decided when Bella had declined to get naked before they finished their work.Rosalie wasn’t complaining though.Bella was naked and her body was slick with water.It was a beautiful sight and Rosalie planned to do all their work in this environment.

“They are nice aren’t they.”Bella agreed.

“When we build our house in Forks we need to make sure we include one inside the house.I of course want a pool but we don’t have to have an indoor one.”Rosalie said.

“Are you sure?With the harsh weather of Forks it might be better if we have one indoors with a retractable roof.”The weather in Forks only cleared up enough to use an outdoor pool for a month and a half if they were lucky and Bella wanted to be able to use it all year round.

“The weather is bad isn’t it and I’m not a big fan of the cold.I’ll do some research.”Rosalie knew it would be more expensive but she wanted more than a month’s time to convince Bella to go skinny dipping with her.Rosalie sighed at the thought.

“What was that sigh for?”Bella asked.

“I’m just thinking about the fact that we haven’t had a chance to spend any quality time together.”Rosalie told her.

Bella leaned over and kissed Rosalie softly being careful to not get water on Rosalie’s computer.”I know sweetheart.Things have been extremely busy and we haven’t gotten a chance to breath yet.I know I was the one to say we would only take a couple weeks off after this was done but I think if we can do school remotely we should get our house started and start living our lives.”

“You mean it?”Rosalie squealed in excitement when Bella nodded.Pushing away the computer table she grabbed Bella’s phone, tossed it across the room and climbed on top of her mate.”I am so happy to hear you say that.”

“It’s silly to think that we could just have a normal life after we deal with all this.I mean I will miss my dad but it’s not like we are going to move to someplace he can’t visit us or we can’t visit him.We are only a couple years away form having children.We need to take the time now to travel and have fun because once they come then we will have to settle down.”Bella knew when they had children she would want to keep them in one place to have stability in their lives.

“I feel the same way.When we have kids we won’t want to be flying all the world.We will want to have our family home set up and have a place for our friends and family to visit.”Rosalie knew there was no way that she would have her children moving every few years like she had had to do her entire life.

Bella kissed Rosalie.”I want to continue this with you but we really need to work.You said they may have found another lab and if they have then we have more kids to rescue.”

“I hate that you are right.”Rosalie would rather be planning their future but Bella had a point.Other people’s children were counting on them.

Moving Rosalie off of her Bella tried to locate her phone.She winced when she found it.”It seems like I need a new phone.”

“You can borrow mine for now and we can get you a new one tomorrow.”Rosalie wasn’t to concerned with Bella’s phone.Her mate hardly used it and most people called Rosalie to get ahold of the shifter.

“Thank you sweetheart.”Bella pulled up the email Rosalie set up for the both of them and looked for anything urgent.”It seems Jasper has been able to identify some more of the people from the photographs.”

“Anyone interesting?”Rosalie asked.

Bella nodded.”Five scientist.”

“That’s good news.Have they put people on follow them?”Rosalie figured if they identified the scientist they would lead them to the lab.

“Yeah I think we can confirm they found one of the labs.We will have to check it out ourselves though because it’s somewhat out in the open.The shifters wouldn’t have been able to get any closer than they did without being caught.”Bella explained.

“From the pictures it looks like they are using humans and not vampires as security.”Rosalie saw the weapons the guards had.”They also are prepared for shifters.”

“I wouldn’t dismiss the vampire just yet.They probably use them at night or in bad weather.I guarantee they have some in the buildings.”Bella said.

“True the outfits are the same ones we pulled off of the ones in Maine.”Rosalie flipped through the pictures of the facility and noticed it was even less secure than the one in Maine.

“Are you noticing the lack of security as well?”Bella asked.

“Yes, I was just thinking that they must be really sure of themselves if they didn’t at least put up more than just a wooden fence.I could knock the whole thing over with one finger.”Rosalie wouldn’t be surprise if the fence was taken down because of poor weather.

“The structure is exposed once you get out of the surrounding cover.They may think because there is no where to hide that it will be easier to defend.”Bella knew they would have to be careful when infiltrating it.”The problem I see is that because of the weakness of the fence that if we attacked it then people would be able to get away because they would have nothing keeping them in.”

“And with the weapons they have it wouldn’t be safe for shifters to be our back up.”Rosalie concluded.

“Exactly.We could ask some of your family but we still don’t know if they are doing anything involving vampires.I haven’t found anything yet but I want to error on the side of caution.”Bella wouldn’t want anyone to get hurt because they were cocky.

Rosalie sighed again.”Ok so this what we have so far.The potential lab is in Colorado, it’s weakly defended but out in the open so it would be hard to attack, because we don’t have a way to contain those inside the building as there is more than one way in and out of the building and we can’t have any shifters help us because of the weapons the guards have and we only have a couple vampires as most of my family isn’t trained to help.Did leave anything out?”

“Not that I can think of.”Bella said.

“So what should we do?”Rosalie knew they couldn’t just ignore the building but didn’t know how they were going to infiltrate it.

“We need to set up a team like we did in Maine.Not all of them have to be with us as the surveillance equipment can broadcast to anywhere but we do need some boots on the ground.”Bella thought through her options.”I think we should have Emmett, Charlotte and Peter with us as backup.That will leave Jasper and Alice at the estate to oversee everything.”

“We should also see there are any shifters in the area.They could have had some of their own taken and they would also know the area.”Rosalie added.

“They could help with the rescue.”They had needed a lot of help getting the children safe and collecting the evidence so Bella would need the shifters to help.

“I will look into getting some vehicles so we don’t have to worry about renting some like the last time.”Rosalie hated the fact that their was last time to learn from.She would prefer that they were done with this whole situation.

“Do we need to do much else out here?”Bella asked.

Rosalie shook her head.”We planted the bugs and the ideas so all we really need to do is answer the phone if someone calls us.If they want to meet in person we can easily take a flight back out here.”

“I’ll get in touch with some of the alphas to ask about the Colorado packs.”Bella said.

“I’ll call Charolette and have her coordinate with Emmett and Peter.”Rosalie was already pulling herself out of the hot tub.

“Make sure you tell her to bring some of the suits for them to use.”Bella wanted them as protected as possible.

“I will.”Rosalie said taking her phone from Bella.

“I guess this means we are on the move again.”Bella said as she got out of the hot tub and took the towel Rosalie handed her.

Rosalie took a moment to ogle her mate before speaking.”I just keep reminding myself that this is just one more step towards us finally living our lives.”

“That’s true.”Bella knew Rosalie was right.Taking out another lab was one step closer to defeating the bad guys.That meant that they were one step closer to being able to finally explore the honeymoon period of their relationship.Her and Rosalie were basically teenagers in love and they had yet to get the chance to act like it.Bella was already imagining the many romantic trips and dates she was going to take Rosalie on.Then of course would be the marriage proposal that she had planned.Then she would make Rosalie her wife.First they had to take care of the vampires that were in control of this whole super soldier situation but after they did Rosalie and Bella would have an amazing life.Bella would make sure of it.
