“Did you meet the girl?!!”Kate asked excitedly before Tanya could even make it out of the car.Tanya had driven as quickly as she could to make it home so that she could talk to her mate.She knew that Irina was going to be as excited as Tanya was about the child bond and Tanya hoped she could convince her mate not to rush to the high school and ambush Bella in class.It was going to be hard to stop Irina but Tanya knew she at least had to try as it was obvious Bella wasn’t that comfortable with them yet.

“Jesus Kate, let me get out of the car first.”Tanya said.

“Sorry I’m just excited. I mean how cool would it be if she could actually talk to dead people.”Kate had been wanting to meet the girl ever since Tanya had told them about the human.

“Hello love.”Irina greeted Tanya in the living room giving her a gentle kiss.

Tanya happily returned the kiss.“Hello sweetheart.”

“Yeah, yeah you love each other I get it.Now tell us about the girl.”Kate said impatiently.

“First I want to start by saying you can not rush out the door and ambush her.”Tanya told Irina.

Irina furrowed her eyebrows.”Why would I want to do that?”

“Because I have found out that Bella Swan is our bond child.”Tanya expected the looks of disbelief she was receiving from Irina and Kate.

“Seriously?!!”Kate asked.When Tanya nodded Kate cheered.”I have a niece.”

“Are you positive?”Irina wanted to make sure before she got to excited.She had always wanted to be a mother but never got the chance in her human life.Irina of course knew about a child bond but didn’t have any hope of having one.

“I knew it was true the moment I looked into her eyes.”Tanya was concerned with Irina’s lack of reaction.”Are you alright?”

“I can’t believe it.I have a child.WE have a child!!”Irina exclaimed happily.

Tanya pulled Irina into her arms and hugged her.”Yes we do.”

“We have to go to her right away.I want to meet her.”Irina was already racing up the stairs to change her clothes so she looked presentable to meet her child.

“Whoah, slow down.”Tanya hated that she had to stop her mate from meeting Bella but it was important.”You can’t rush to her.”

“Why not?”Irina didn’t see the problem with wanting to meet her daughter.

“I’m sorry my love but if you rush and ambush her she will take it negatively and will probably avoid you.”Tanya was sure of it.

“But she is my child.”Irina said.

“I know but she is very wary of all of us.It seems that Rosalie, Emmett and Alice haven’t made the best impression.”Tanya corrected herself. “Actually they have made a horrible impression.Bella is convinced they are trying to kill her.”

Kate laughed as she made her way into the guest room with her sisters.”Why does she think that?”

“Apparently she has caught the three of them following her around.”Tanya was planning to have a discussion with the trio the first chance she got.

Irina growled.”Why are they following her?”

“As you know Alice has been having visions of Bella. Well it seems that they are afraid of Bella getting into trouble so they have taken it upon themselves to keep her safe.”That reminded Tanya of something.”Actually I want to have a closer look at the wall in the living room of things related to the cases she has been involved with.”

“You still haven’t told us if she really talks to ghosts.”Kate said as she followed Irina and Tanya into the living room.The sisters were the only ones home as everyone else had left to do their own thing.Garrett included.

“She does.”Tanya confirmed.

“How do you know for sure?”Irina asked.

“I talked to Sasha.”Tanya told them.

“No way.”Kate didn’t believe that for a second.

“Yes, way.Bella told me enough things that only Sasha would know to make me believe her.She even knew about the immortal child.”Tanya said.

“Whoah.”Kate mumbled.”That’s crazy.”

“It’s incredible.”Irina wasn’t surprised her child was turning out to be so extraordinary.

“What did you talk about?”Kate asked.

“It wasn’t a long talk. She mentioned that I should forgive you for the incident in 1857.”Tanya told Kate.

“You said you already had!!”Kate couldn’t believe Tanya was still holding a grudge.

Tanya shrugged.”I thought I did to but when it was brought up I realized I hadn’t. She also talked about how sorry she was for what she did and said that she took us for granted.That after she created the child she was to far gone for anyone to reach her.”

“I believe it.”Irina said sadly.

“On a positive note it seems as if she was somewhat responsible for the child bond with Bella.At least that’s what she hinted at.Also she has been visiting Bella since she was a young child.They are pretty close from what I could tell.”Tanya was happy it seemed that Sasha had been looking out for Bella this whole time.

“So how does her gift work?”Kate wondered if Bella would be able to talk to anyone.She had always wanted to meet Katherine Hepburn.If Bella could summon her that be cool to Kate.

“I don’t know.I really didn’t get much of an opportunity to speak with her.”Tanya wished she had.”She didn’t seem that comfortable around me. She was definitely uncomfortable around Rosalie.”

“How are we going to get her to speak to us if she is reluctant to be around anyone?”Irina asked.

“I don’t know.She called Rosalie, Emmett and Alice the three stooges and when Rosalie said they were friends Bella seemed to be very against the idea.Then again like I said before she thinks they are going to kill her.”Tanya wasn’t sure how they were going to change Bella’s mind on that.

”The three stooges!!I love it.”Kate chuckled.”I’m going to start calling them that.”

“Why is she convinced they are going to kill her?”Irina wanted to know what the Cullen children had done to make Bella think that way.

Tanya shrugged.”I don’t know but Rosalie seemed entirely put out by the whole thing.She definitely isn’t doing really well establishing a relationship with her mate.”

“Bella has been involved with all these cases?”Kate asked as she looked over the wall covered in maps, a white board and various pieces of paper connected together with pins and string.

“Rosalie said she was.”Tanya looked at the wall in concern.It seemed Bella was involved in things more serious than she initially thought.

“I’m not sure I like the idea of our child being involved with a hitman.”Irina pointed to the list of facts listed on the white board.It seemed like the Cullens were trying to solve the case themselves.

“What the hell?”Kate turned her attention to what Irina was pointing to and read.”Victim shot in the back of the head execution style then body stuffed in a freezer and stored at a mechanics shop?”

“Jesus.”Tanya exclaimed.

“That is just one of many.”Irina was stunned as looked over the wall.

“She helped solve a kidnapping.”Kate said.

“It seems like she is involved in a lot of murders.”Tanya wasn’t sure that it was healthy for anyone especially a teenager to be involved with so much death.

“I’m surprised that no one has caught on to her involvement yet.”Irina was trying to figure out how they could help ease some of Bella’s burden because she didn’t think it was fair for the girl to shoulder so much responsibility.

“Do you think we will be able to help her solve some cases?”Kate was already mid plan of her and Bella starting a detective agency. Solving crimes together would be a lot of fun.It would also bring some excitement to their lives.Sometimes things got boring when you were alive for so long.

“I’m certainly not going to leave her alone to do it herself.”Tanya was going to make sure that Bella had help in the future.

“That brings us back to how are we going to get her to trust us?”Irina’s instincts were telling her to race over to the high school and take Bella and keep her by her side always but she knew that wasn’t the way to go about this.

“Rosalie may be her mate but I think that we need to tell her and the other two to back off of Bella.I get the feeling Bella doesn’t like them around her.”Tanya knew that Rosalie was going to be upset but if any of them wanted to make some progress with Bella they needed to take a different approach than the trio had.

“I still want to know why she is convinced they are going to kill her.”Kate found the fact that Rosalie’s mate was afraid her hilarious and couldn’t wait to tease the other blond when she got a chance.

“The thing the three of us need to focus on is that we don’t make her think the same thing about us.Our connection to Sasha gives us a little more of her trust but I can tell it’s going to be hard to get Bella to actually open up to us.”Tanya wasn’t looking forward to the heartbreak she knew not only she but her mate were in for in the future when Bella’s lack of trust in them made it itself known.

“I’m definitely going with you to pick her up.”Irina wasn’t going to take no for an answer.She would meet her child one way or another.

“I’m going as well.”Kate said.

“I don’t know if that is a good idea.”Tanya thought that Bella might freak out with all of them there.”She did ask about the two of you though.”

“She did?”Irina thought that was a good sign.

Tanya nodded.”When I approached her she ask where the both of you were by name.”

“That’s a good sign then.We can say that we heard she asked about us and wanted to meet her.”Irina was positive it would work out.

“It’s settled we will all go to pick up Bella.”Kate was already making a list of questions she had for the human.Hopefully Bella wouldn’t be afraid of her because Kate had already adopted Bella as her niece and she wanted to have some fun with her.If it worked out the way Kate hoped then she and Bella were going to be a thorn in her sisters’ sides.

“I’m going to text Rosalie to let her know.Then I want to look over that wall with more focus.”Tanya said pulling out her cell phone.She knew Rosalie wasn’t going to be happy with the three of them coming to pick Bella up but it wasn’t up to Rosalie.The young vampire and her two siblings had made a mess of things and it was up to Tanya, Irina and Kate to fix it.That started with spending time with Bella.Tanya just hoped that Bella would be open to having some kind of relationship with them because not only would it break her heart but it would break Irina’s as well if their daughter rejected them.
