“So Rosalie can you please tell us what is going on?” Carlisle asked. His family plus Lauren, Bella, Rosalie and Sebastian were all gathered in the Cullen’s living room. Bella, Rosalie and Sebastian were sharing a couch while Jasper sat in a chair with Alice on his lap. Lauren, Edward and Esme were occupying the other couch while, Emmett and Veronica where sitting on the love seat and Carlisle was standing. He could have taken the other chair but he was too worked up in his excitement to learn what had happened to Rosalie to sit still.

“Well as you all can tell I’m human now.” Rosalie said.

“How did that happen though?” Veronica asked.

“Bella changed me back.”Rosalie told them.

“So Bella isn’t human?”Carlisle knew that Bella wasn’t a vampire and she didn’t smell like a shifter so he wasn’t sure what she was.

“No she is not. It’s up to her to tell you what she is as it’s not my secret to tell.”They hadn’t spoken about if they were going to tell Rosalie’s family what Bella was and Rosalie wasn’t going to unless Bella was alright with it.

Bella sighed seeing all attention focused on her. She knew that it would most likely come up that she was fae if Sebastian spent any time with the family so Bella might as well tell them. “I’m a fae.”

“Wait fae, like what Sookie in True Blood is?” Emmett asked.

Sebastian laughed.“You watch True Blood?”

“What,it’s a good show.” Emmett said defensively.

Veronica rolled her eyes at her husband. “Anyway. What exactly is a fae?”

“Can I mom?” Sebastian asked.

Bella sighed and waved her hand. “Do what you must.”

“Sweet.”Sebastian paused for dramatic effect then announced.”Mom’s a fairy.”

“A fairy?” Edward didn’t believe that for a second. He tried to check to see if they were lying but just like last time he was near them he couldn’t hear Bella or Sebastian’s thoughts. What made him even more suspicious of the pair was that Rosalie was now a blank space as well.

“I hate being called that.” Bella said.

“No you hate being called an angel.” Sebastian reminded her.

“You’re an angel?” Carlisle perked up at this information. It would make sense for an angel to bring a vampire back to life.

“No.” Bella said.

“Yes.” Rosalie and Sebastian said at the same time.

Bella rubbed her forehead feeling the headache she cured in the car coming back full force.”I am a fae. Some of my brethren believe because of my unusual appearance that I have divine ancestors.That however is not true.”

“Only she thinks it’s not true.” Sebastian knew his mother didn’t like the angel stuff being talked about but Sebastian was happy to have people like him to finally talk to. The fairies didn’t like him that much and he was excited to make new friends. Ones that he could talk about his mother’s true nature with were even better.

“What is unusual about your appearance?”Veronica asked.

“This is not my true form. This is an illusion I use to be able to travel the human realm. My fae form is different from those of my kind.”Bella explained.

“So this isn’t really what you look like?”Emmett was excited to see what a real fairy looked like.

“No this is what I really look like.” Bella stood and willed her body back to it’s true form.

“Holy shit.” Alice mumbled.

“Alice language.” Esme scolded. She to was taken by Bella’s natural appearance but that didn’t mean she was going to let her children get away with poor manners.

“Yeah Alice I don’t think it’s a good idea to say holy shit in front of an angel.” Emmett wasn’t sure if Bella really was an angel but she did look cool.

Bella sighed once again and used her magic to change back to human.”I’m not an angel and although I don’t personally use bad language I’m not offended when others do.”

“Except for me.”Sebastian grumbled.

“That’s because when you were younger you used it in front of some very important people from the church.” Bella reminded him.

Sebastian blushed as he remembered the time he had called one of the fairies a bitch in front of a bunch of priests his mother was visiting at a small temple in her realm.”I apologized.”

“And I have forgiven you for that.” Bella said.

“Anyway can we get back to the fact that Rosalie is a human?” Alice was interested in learning more about Bella but wanted to find out how Rosalie came to be human.

“Yes, that would be a good topic to discuss.” Carlisle agreed. He was already planning to speak to Bella about her species and her heritage the first moment he got but wanted to know how Rosalie was turned human first.

“My people all have magic. I simply used my magic to infuse life into Rosalie’s dead body.” Bella told them.

“So you are a hundred percent human now?” Jasper asked. He wasn’t sure how he felt about this whole situation.The fact that he couldn’t feel any emotions coming off of Bella, her son or even Rosalie was putting him on edge.

Rosalie nodded.”I eat, sleep and even can cry real tears.My body temperature is the same as a regular human and I can feel both warmth and coldness easily. Most importantly though my heart pumps regular blood through my veins.”

“Why can’t I smell your blood then?” Edward asked. Although weary of the newcomers if Bella could in fact turn them human again he was beyond interested.

“As my consort Rosalie was offered certain gifts. One of those gifts is a shield that protects her body and mind. It’s the shield that blocks her scent from you.That is also why you can’t smell Sebastian’s or mine.” Bella explained.

“So that’s why I can’t feel your emotions.” Jasper felt better now that he had an actual reason for it.Bella telling them about the shield made him trust her a little bit more because she was being open with them. He didn’t trust people who kept secrets and it seemed like Bella wasn’t someone who did.

“And why Edward can’t hear my thoughts and Alice can’t have visions of my future.” Rosalie said.

Alice shifted in Jasper’s lap when she noticed the attention had turned to her. “I didn’t tell you because Edward was already saying they were dangerous and I didn’t want anyone trying to force Rosalie to stay away from her mate.”

“No one would have forced Rosalie to stay away from her mate.It would just have made us more cautious.Next time please tell us.” Carlisle could understand why Alice didn’t say anything it just wasn’t safe to not let the family know. “This time it worked out well but next time it could be inviting danger.”

“I know. I’ll tell you next time.” Alice promised.

“That being said what was the process of changing back like?” Carlisle asked.

“I honestly don’t know. Bella put me to sleep and when I woke up I was sweaty and weak. I didn’t feel my body change at all. It was like one moment I closed eyes and the next I opened them and I had a heart beat.” Rosalie explained.

“Amazing.” Carlisle mumbled. He wondered if he could convince Rosalie to let him do some testing on her.

“So what happens now that you are human?” Veronica asked.

“Nothing really different happens. I’m still immortal and if I really think about it with the shield I’m better protected now than when I was a vampire.” Rosalie said.

“You’re still immortal?” Emmett asked.

Rosalie nodded. “Yes Bella has the capability to make people immortal.”

“Can you make me immortal?” Lauren asked. She had wanted to be a vampire only because she would live forever. She didn’t want to have to rely on blood to live though. The whole being forced to stay inside all day was another thing she wasn’t looking forward to. If Bella could make her immortal then she wouldn’t have to deal with all the bad stuff that came with being a vampire.

“Oh shit.” Sebastian mumbled earning a look of reproach from his mother.

Rosalie put her head in her hands and sighed. She was going to offer her family the chance at immortality already but Lauren had to be her stupid self and ruin it for everyone. Rosalie knew Bella’s number one rule. She would never grant someone who asked for immortality. To her they were considered unworthy. It really wasn’t that much of a surprise that Lauren proved herself unworthy though.If Rosalie really thought about it it probably wouldn’t be a good idea to give someone as selfish as Lauren a way to live forever.

“I don’t grant immortality to those who ask for it.” Bella told her. She had already picked Lauren out as someone she would not help and was unsurprised when the girl had asked her question.

“Why not? I mean you gave it to Rosalie.It’s not that big of a deal.”Lauren said.

“Lauren…” Rosalie warned.

Lauren of course didn’t listen. “What? You aren’t anything special. I mean out of all us I deserve to be immortal. You guys are vampires.You can already live forever.”

“Rosalie isn’t anything special?” Bella asked feeling her anger rise.

“Lauren maybe you should…” Alice tried to stop the human as she noticed Bella’s eye turn into glowing green slits as she focused on Lauren.

“No, Rosalie has just squandered her life away all this time. Just moping around not accomplishing anything.I should become immortal.I would do a lot more than Rosalie ever will.It’s my right as a member of this family. I should get to choose whether I became that way by turning into a vampire or Bella making me immortal.”Lauren didn’t understand why everyone was looking at her the way they were.”What you know I’m right!!”

“Lauren maybe you should calm down.”Esme along with everyone else could see Bella was beyond upset and Lauren was just making it worse with every word that came out of her mouth.

“Don’t tell my mate to calm down.” Edward wasn’t going to stand for anyone talking to his mate like that. “Lauren has a good point. If we have a way for us to be together without her becoming a soulless monster we should take it. Bella should grant Lauren immortality. Actually Bella should make us all human and grant each of us immortality.”

“Edward you cannot demand our guest…”Esme began but Edward cut her off.

“I will demand whatever I want. Bella has an obligation to us. She may be Rosalie’s mate but that doesn’t mean Rosalie should be treated like anything special.” Edward turned his attention to Bella.”Bella you will turn all of us human and grant us immortality. Not only that you will give each of us the same shield you gave Rosalie so that we can protect ourselves from any threats.”

Rosalie shot up from her seat next to Bella.”You do not talk to my mate like that.”

“I will talk to anyone anyway I want. Now sit down so Bella can start. The sooner she does the sooner each of us can start our new lives.” Edward said a he took a step towards Rosalie.

“Mom don’t.” Sebastian screamed as Bella shot from her seat.

Bella didn’t listen though. She strode past Rosalie and made her way up to Edward. Before the boy could speak again she thrust her hand through his chest and ripped out his heart. Bella ignored the gasps from all of the occupants of the room as she held the dead organ in front of Edward’s shocked face. “I do not take commands from anyone.My life and my magic are my own. I came here as a favor to my consort not because I wanted to. You and your family took her away from me a century ago and I have not forgiven you for that. Now you make demands like you have the right to command god’s messenger?!!!!!!”

“Bella give him back his heart.” Rosalie said as she laid her hand gently on Bella’s shoulder hoping to calm her mate down. “He isn’t smart enough to understand what he is actually demanding.”

“That just makes him a better candidate for the torture I have been planning since the day they took you from me.” Bella said through gritted teeth.

“Mom, you don’t want to do this. Think of how you would feel when you are done. Don’t taint your soul for a stupid idiot who doesn’t have the sense to bow dow to an actual child of God.”Sebastian hoped his mother would get out of the murder mindset because he knew that she would regret it later if she actually killed someone.

Bella growled as she shoved her hand back into Edward’s chest causing him to gasp and cry out in pain.She grabbed him by the hair and forced him to make eye contact with her. “Watch yourself boy because you just kicked the hornet’s nest.”

“What are you talking about?” Edward gasped out. He couldn’t believe the pain he was in or the fact that Bella was able to take his heart in the first place.

As if on cue Errol rushed into the living room.”Are you alright your holiness?”

“Yes Errol thank you. This man here thinks that I should do his bidding because my consort is part of his family.What do you think Errol? Should I bend to the will of this boy who makes demands such as immortality?” Bella asked smiling when Errol let his body turn back into his fae form and advanced on Edward.

Edward tried to dodge the man’s hands but he wasn’t fast enough and before he could even cry out he was held up against the wall with a hand around his throat. He looked around trying to see his family but the fae man was blocking his line of sight.”Put me down.”

“You want me to put you down?” Errol asked and when Edward nodded Errol slammed his body down so hard Edward fell through the floor boards and with Errol on top of him landed on the basement floor.

“Stop!” Carlisle called out as he looked down the hole and saw his son being pummeled by the large fairy. Carlisle didn’t understand what the big deal was. Yes Edward was somewhat rude but he wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable.Carlisle himself was going to ask to be changed back into human and didn’t understand why Bella took such offense to Edward asking.”He has done nothing wrong.”

“Why would you say that?” Sebastian asked in exasperation as he moved to hold his mother back from going after yet another vampire.To his surprise it was Rosalie that made a move to get into the man’s face.

“Making demands and insulting my mate is doing nothing wrong?” Rosalie yelled. She wasn’t afraid of Carlisle so she had no problem getting in his face. Rosalie trusted Bella’s shield and knew there was no way she would be harmed.

“Leave him alone.”Lauren yelled as she ran to stand next to Carlisle.“You’re so selfish Rosalie. Why do you think you’re the only one who gets to be human?Edward deserves it more than you. You are pitiful.”

“Fuck.” Sebastian groaned as his mother called out in the fae language and the living room was suddenly filled with over a dozen guards who pulled Rosalie close to Bella and surrounded them.”You guys did it now.”

“Where did they all come from?” Emmett asked. He was pissed at Edward as well and hoped that the mind reader hadn’t ruined any chance they had to befriend Bella. Emmett didn’t care about being turned human he just didn’t want to lose his sister and if they pissed Bella off then they would lose Rosalie.

“I don’t know.” Jasper said as he pulled Alice off his lap and moved them towards the back door. He was very uncomfortable in this situation and didn’t appreciate the fact that men and women in black suits kept showing up without anyone noticing they were there. He may be sure of his own fighting abilities but he didn’t know if he could take on even one of these fae creatures let alone a house full.

“Ok everyone let’s calm down.” Veronica said as she put her hands up in a non threatening manner.She flinched when she heard what she was sure was one of Edward’s limbs being ripped off. “How about we call a cease fire and we talk this out.”

“Good idea.” Sebastian agreed. This whole situation was making him very nervous. He had never seen his mother actually put her hands on someone and the amount of anger coming off her was not something he ever had experienced before.”Mom call Errol off.”

“That is up to Rosalie.” Bella personally wanted the boy to suffer more but he was a part of Rosalie’s coven so it would be her decision on how he was treated.

Although tempted to let it continue Rosalie knew they would get nowhere if they didn’t talk to each other.”Errol that’s enough.”

“Of course your highness.” Errol jumped from the hole in the basement and stood in the space the fairies made in the circle protecting Rosalie, Sebastian and Bella.

“Your highness?” Alice asked confused.

“That’s not what we should be worrying about right now.” Jasper told his mate.

“Yes what we should be worried about is helping Edward.” Carlisle jumped back when one of the guards made a move towards him.

“There is no need Torra.”Bella would love nothing more than to beat on the doctor but it wasn’t time for that yet.

“Sorry your holiness.”Torra replied retaking her spot in the circle.

“Your holiness?”Alice asked even more confused.

“Once again sweetheart not what we should be worrying about.”Jasper said.

“Ok now how about this. Carlisle you and Lauren go check on Edward.” Veronica said taking control of the situation. Carlisle was an idiot and Veronica knew if they didn’t get him and Lauren out the room Bella and her people would probably murder the pair of them and then move on to Edward.

“That’s a good idea.” Carlisle said as he motioned for Lauren to follow him to the basement stairs. He was worried about his son. The fact that he wasn’t making a sound and they heard no movement was very concerning.

“I’m not leaving.” Lauren wasn’t going to be bullied into leaving the room. She was going to stay there and make Bella grant her immortality. Then after that Lauren was going to make her change Edward and grant him immortality and give them both the shield.

Veronica flinched at the hissing coming from the group of fairies.”Lauren either you follow Carlisle or I will physically throw you down the hole Edward went through.”

“I’m not leaving until Bella grants me immortally and gives me the shield.”Lauren said only to find herself slammed to the wall by a hand around her neck the same way Edward had by one of the fairies.

“Shit.”Emmett mumbled.Bella’s people didn’t screw around. He was actually somewhat concerned that they were going to get fed up with all of them and kill the whole family.

“Let me go.” Lauren demanded not being smart enough to realize that this wasn’t a normal situation that she could bully her way out of.

“Ok, how about this. One of us will personally escort Lauren to her home and keep her there.” Veronica offered. She hoped that Bella and Rosalie would agree because even though Lauren was annoying Veronica didn’t want to see the girl killed.

“I’ll take her.” Esme volunteered. The situation was getting out of hand and Esme like Veronica didn’t want to see Lauren killed.

“I’m not leaving.”Lauren gasped when the hand around her neck tightened.”Let me go you brute!!!”

“Yeah I think you should definitely get her out of here.”Sebastian said.

“What do you think Rosalie?” Bella asked.

“Let her go but if she comes back I won’t stop them from hurting her.” Rosalie warned.

Veronica sighed in relief.“Good, that’s good.Now if you would please let her go Esme will keep her from returning.”

“I told you I’m leaving until…”Lauren started only to be cut off by Esme.

“Shut your mouth right this instant.You are coming with me whether like it or not.”Esme told her.

Lauren gaped at Esme.”You can’t talk to me like that.”

“Let her go. Esme will take care of her.” Rosalie told the guard.

“Yes your highness.”The guard released Lauren and easily deflected the kick she tried to land on his shins.

“Ahh.“ Lauren cried out in pain when the guard kicked her back and snapped the bones in her leg.

“We’re leaving don’t worry.” Esme promised as she picked a crying and screaming Lauren up and rushed out of the house. She wasn’t going to stick around any longer and have them hurt Lauren worse, even though the girl deserved it.

“Great now that Lauren is out of the way can we please call off the guards and speak like civilized people?”Veronica asked.

“I will follow Rosalie’s lead on how she wishes to proceed.” Bella said.

“I’m alright with talking.But the guards stay.”Rosalie told them.

“Ok, we can accept that.How about we all sit down?” Veronica hoped this would work out now that Lauren was gone. She was very afraid that the fairies were going to kill all of them.

“Fine.”Rosalie grabbed Bella’s hand and led her back to sit on the couch with Sebastian sitting right next to her.This was all turning out horrible. When she had woken up that morning she had been excited to see her family and share with them the gift of becoming human. Now though she didn’t even want spend time with them.Sighing she rested her head on Bella’s shoulder. Rosalie would hear them out but if they insulted her mate again she wasn’t going to stop the guards from doling out any punishment they saw fit.
