The Hidden Princess 12

“So what do you think?” Bella asked Rosalie as she finished the tour of her wing of the castle. After showing off the amenities Emmett and Simone had went to the arcade and had promised to meet up with the others later. It pleased Bella that they found something they liked because that would be more incentive for them to want to stay. Now it was just her Rosalie, Alice and Jasper. Bella could tell that she made Jasper uncomfortable but she wasn’t offended. It was her scars that had his instincts on high alert.Bella knew her scars made her look dangerous to anyone who had seen them. Jasper being a fighter himself would of course be extra cautious.

“I think it’s great and I hope our room is half as cool as yours are.” Alice said. She hadn’t gotten the chance to talk to Jasper about staying but she hoped her husband wouldn’t mind because she wanted to. Then tailor’s workroom alone had her agreeing.

“I could see why you said it would take some work to be livable.” Rosalie walked out to the balcony and looked at the view of the castle grounds complete with beautiful gardens. She imagined that she and Bella could have many romantic moments enjoying the view. The problem was before they could do that they would need some furniture. Other than a couch and a desk Bella’s wing was empty. It seemed out of the five rooms and bathroom Bella had she only used one of them.Well two if you counted the walk in closet that was a room within itself.

“I don’t usually spend a lot of time in here.” Bella was always busy with her mothers, duty or friends. If she wanted some alone time she usually spent it in the library but even then one of her mothers would come and read with her.

“Well you are at least going to need a bed.” Alice laughed at the glare Rosalie sent her way.”Unless you prefer to do it on the floor.”

“Alice!!” Rosalie hissed. She didn’t want to talk about her future sex life with her mate with her sister or anyone other than Bella. They hadn’t even gotten more than a couple hours alone. Sex would wait until they at least knew each other better.

“Anyway.” Bella said trying to get the subject away from sex. “Is there something specific you would want to use one of the rooms for?”

Rosalie glared at Alice one more time before turning her attention to Bella. “I can’t think of anything right this second.”

“You need to ask about the garage Rosalie.” Alice said.

“What about the garage? Do you have a car you want shipped to the castle?” Bella asked.

“Rosalie loves fixing up cars. It’s not only her hobby but her passion.”Jasper told her. He was relaxing a little bit around Bella but not enough to let Alice more then an arm’s length away from him.

“Then you are going to love the garage. We have a complete mechanic’s set up because we do all our own maintenance on all our vehicles. My mother Athenodora also has a passion for automobiles and has an entire building for her collection. It’s basically a car museum. I know that she would be more than happy to show you.” Bella was excited to tell her mother about Rosalie’s love of cars. It could be something they could bond over.

“The queen likes cars?” Rosalie was surprised to hear that as she figured the warrior queen wouldn’t have much interest outside of warfare. She quickly chastised herself for that thought. Not many people believed she liked cars as well.

“Oh yeah. When Karl Benz invented his three wheeled car in the 1800’s my mother bought one of the first models.During her human years she fought with horses and chariots so when she heard rumors of a horseless wagon she was fascinated. She still has that car actually.” Bella said.

“And she would let me see it?” Rosalie asked excited by the prospect of seeing something she had only read about in person.

Bella nodded.” Of course.She will talk your ear off though so you should plan on asking her when you have a few days free.”

“I’ll have to ask her then.” Rosalie said.

“That being said when you do talk to her she is going to want to know if you are going to want to live in the castle. I’m not going to push you to do so I am telling you so you know that my mothers want us to live here. It you don’t that is perfectly alright as well. We can pick out our own place if that’s what you would prefer.” Bella wanted to live in the castle but she wasn’t going to push her opinion on Rosalie. Bella knew it was a big deal to live with the Volturi rulers and guard and wouldn’t blame her mate if she wasn’t comfortable there.

“I want to stay here but I’m not sure about living here.We would need to get your rooms worked on before I would feel completely comfortable.”Rosalie said.

“That’s understandable. Is there somewhere else you want to stay? Or do you want to go back to your home in America?” Bella asked.

“We should go back to Forks to formally withdraw from school and wrap up Carlisle’s job. Plus I would like to get my things from the house.”Rosalie turned her attention to Alice and Jasper.” What do you guys think?”

“We don’t mind staying in the castle but I agree we will need to go to Forks to wrap up our lives there and get our belongings.” Jasper knew that Alice actually had her heart set on staying in the castle and he wasn’t going to throw away the chance to get in the good graces of the queens.

“Yeah we definitely need to get our stuff.” Alice said happy that Jasper agreed with her on staying.

“I will ask my mothers if we can take the jet to go. That is if you want me to go with you?” Bella asked.

“Of course I want you to come with us.” Rosalie didn’t want be away from Bella at all.Even when she was with her mothers Rosalie had to fight the urge to go and find her.

Bella smiled. “Good. I will warn you that my mothers will insist that we bring some guards with us.”

“Will Heidi be one of those guards?” Rosalie asked nonchalantly.

“Heidi is one of my personal guards so would definitely be going.” Bella told her.

“I see.” Rosalie tried to school her features but didn’t think she was successful when she saw Alice smirk.It wasn’t Rosalie’s fault she felt jealous of Bella’s relationship with Heidi. The two were obviously close and with Heidi’s reputation of being a seductress it made Rosalie’s hackles rise thinking of her mate spending time with her.

“Is there a problem with that?”Bella asked confused by the tension she could feel coming from Rosalie.

“No I was just wondering.”Rosalie shot Alice a glare daring her to say otherwise.

“Since Heidi is going so is Chelsea.” Bella said.

“Why would she be going as well?”Jasper knew of Chelsea but didn’t think she was a bodyguard.

“She’s Heidi’s mate. Whenever Heidi leaves the castle she goes with her.” Bella told them.

“Wait Heidi has a mate?” Rosalie didn’t know that Heidi was mated.

“They have been mated for centuries.”Bella said.

“Then why wasn’t she in Forks?”Alice asked.

“She was. She flew the plane. My mother doesn’t allow them to fight together on the battlefield because they would be distracted. So if either one goes somewhere the other is allowed to go but must remain on the plane.” Bella explained.

“So what is your relationship with Heidi then?”Rosalie blurted out not able to stop herself.

“Heidi is the first person here that I talked to. She helped me feel comfortable in the castle.She also taught me what it meant to be a vampire.” Bella told her.

“So you have never had a romantic relationship?”Rosalie asked.

Bella shook her head confused as to why Rosalie was asking. “Heidi is my sister. Just like Alice and Simone are yours.”

“Oh.” Suddenly Rosalie felt silly.

“Did you think we were more than that?”Bella asked.

“No of course not.” Rosalie growled at Alice when she began laughing.

“Yeah Rosalie isn’t the jealous type.” Alice said still chuckling.

“I’ll kill you.” Rosalie hissed.

“Anyway how about we plan our trip to Forks." Jasper said trying to get the attention off of Alice. Rosalie was now mated to the Volturi princess who was obviously a dangerous vampire in her own right and had the backing of the royals. It would not be good if they upset her or Rosalie.

“We will have to talk to my mothers.I’ll have to figure out a way to convince them I don’t need a chaperone.” Bella said.

“Would they try to come with us?” Rosalie wasn’t sure if she would want one of the queens traveling with them.

“It’s a possibility but let’s not worry about that right this second. Let’s go find Emmett and Simone and see what their plans are.” Bella figured that having Emmett and Simone’s take on everything would be helpful. She hoped that they to wanted to stay in the castle. It would make not only Bella happy but her mothers as well if she and Rosalie lived there and Bella knew that Rosalie wouldn’t want to if her siblings didn’t. Bella would of course support her but worried that her mothers would just try to move into any place Bella and Rosalie settled. Maybe not all three of them would try but she knew Didyme would.Bella actually expected her momma to come with them to America. It would be embarrassing if she did and Bella knew she would have to appeal to her other two mothers to stop her. Sighing Bella tried to figure out what would be the best way to get her way.Maybe for the first time ever she could throw a fit.She quickly dismissed that thought. That would be even more embarrassing to do in front of her mate.
