“No, I will not be granting an audience with anyone from that family.” Rosalie heard Bella say into the phone. Both she and Bella along with Sebastian were on their way to Forks to meet up with Rosalie’s family. Rosalie had wanted to meet with the family the day before but as Bella predicted all she had the energy for was to sleep and eat. There had been some cuddling with her mate on the couch but Rosalie hadn’t gotten to make her move to get Bella naked yet. Hopefully she would have the chance soon but they had to deal with the Cullens first.

“Who is she talking about?” Rosalie asked Sebastian.

“I’m not sure but if it’s who I think it is then she is talking about Tiffany’s family.” Sebastian said.

“Who’s Tiffany?” Rosalie had never seen Bella upset before but it was quite clear her mate was angry.

“She’s this horrible fairy who won’t leave mom alone.Tiffany’s father was some political bigwig and mom had met with him a few times. He of course brought his family and after he died Tiffany has been bugging mom ever since.” Sebastian told her.

“What does she want from Bella?” Rosalie wasn’t sure she liked the implications of a woman pursuing Bella.

“When she was younger she wanted to marry mom.Don’t worry mom has never been with anyone other than you.”Sebastian quickly added. “She has never had any relationships because she was waiting for her mate.”

Rosalie let out a sigh of relief hearing that. She may not be a vampire anymore but that didn’t mean her emotions were dulled.”So she wanted to date Bella?”

“Yeah, but when that didn’t work she tried to get mom to grant her a child as a blessing even though she didn’t need mom’s help.”Noticing Rosalie’s confusion Sebastian explained.”That way she would have the social status of having a child that was born from a blessing by god. The fairies that mom bless with children are considered chosen by their god to carry his own offspring.Originally the babies would be seen as prophets and would be worshipped and were forced to enter the church. Mom put a stop to that though. She had traveled to each of the villages that the children came from and spoke to them and explained that although a blessing the child was not in fact a holy messenger and should not be worshipped as such.It was kind of a big deal at the time because usually when mom tours the fairy realm it’s for specific anniversaries or holy days.”

“So after she didn’t get her child what did she try next?”Rosalie wondered if she was going to have to go on the tours of the realm that Bella made. Bella mentioned that they would have to to introduce her to Bella’s people but Rosalie didn’t know if that meant she would be expected to go at other times.

“Well she has tried many times to get an audience with mom just so she can say she has a connection to her. Mom though doesn’t care about dealing with people she deems unworthy. Tiffany of course can’t believe that anyone wouldn’t want to meet with her so she badgers not only the low members of the church but the priests and priestesses as well.”Sebastian said. “She just had her 200th birthday so I’m pretty sure she is trying to get mom to bless her with immortality.”

From what Rosalie had learned from Bella that wasn’t likely to happen.”Has she granted a lot of people with immortally?”

“Besides you and me she has granted less than a dozen people with immortality and has taken the blessing back from two.” Sebastian told her.

“Wait she can undo the spell?” Rosalie asked.

Sebastian nodded. “Yeah, she did for those two fairies because they thought that once they were immortal they would no longer be held to the laws of the fairy realm and the rules of the church. Mom was rather pissed and then stopped taking suggestions from the council on who should get the blessing. Now she will only grant it to those she has personally dealt with and she never grants it to anyone who asks her. That’s like her number one rule. If you ask to live forever it means your heart isn’t pure.”

“Now I understand why she couldn’t give out so many blessings to my family.” Rosalie said.

“Yup. When she was younger mom took her cues from the church council.She honestly didn’t know any better. Then as she started going out on her own and interacting with other fairies and listened to their problems and hopes and dreams she started seeing that everything wasn’t as black and white as the church said. It caused a lot of upheaval in the church when she stopped taking orders from them but the high priestess stuck by mom’s side and dealt with most of it for her.” Sebastian told her.

“Are you alright?” Rosalie asked Bella as she saw her put her phone down and rub her eyes.

“You would think if I was actually a half angel like everyone thinks then I would be spared from having to deal with politics. But alas I feel as if because I am everyone thinks I can solve their problems.” Bella could feel a headache coming on. She whispered a spell and sighed in relief when the pain fled.

Sebastian chuckled.“Sorry mom. Maybe if you actually admitted you were an angel they would leave you alone.”

“I doubt it.” Bella mumbled.

“Your holiness we are almost there. How would you like to deal with the vampires?” Errol asked from the driver’s seat.

“The family is not a threat so you don’t need to be close to me at all times.” Seeing the objection form Bella added. “I will however welcome you to set up security around the property. Also if it will make you feel better I’m sure you would be able to check the house before we enter.”

“I’m not sure my family would appreciate that.” Rosalie said.

“Then we will stay outside.” Bella understood why someone wouldn’t want a bunch of strangers searching their house so she wouldn’t push.

“I’ll ask them.” Rosalie didn’t think anyone other than Edward would put up much of a fight about it.

Bella kissed Rosalie on the cheek.” Thank you. I wouldn’t insist it’s just I have to follow certain protocols to make everyone feel better about me traveling to the human realm. Actually when I travel anywhere.”

“It’s just because your people love you so much.” Sebastian reminded her.

“I understand.” Rosalie did understand. If the humans had a half angel living amongst them then they would have much more security than Bella had.

“Whoah this is a nice place.” Sebastian said as they pulled up the long driveway to the Cullen’s home. Suddenly there was what he thought was Rosalie’s entire family walking through the door and standing in the front lawn. “And that’s a lot of vampires.”

“Let me get out first then I will explain everything.” Rosalie hoped her family would stay calm but she knew they would more than likely freak out about her changes.

Bella motioned to Rosalie’s door.“Errol if you would.”

“Of course your holiness.” When Errol got out of the car it was obvious that the Cullens were confused.

“Thank you Errol.” Rosalie said as he opened the door for her.

“It’s my pleasure your highness.” Errol told her standing by the car.

Rosalie did a double take at the title Errol used but decided to talk to Bella about it later. Now she had to deal with her family. Her family that was staring at her in wide eyed shock a couple of them slack jawed. “Hello everyone.”

“Rosalie? Is that you?Are you human?” Alice asked not sure exactly what was going on. The person in front of her looked like Rosalie but was most decidedly human.

“It is and yes I am human now.” Rosalie told them.

“What? How?” Carlisle stuttered out. He rubbed his eyes not sure what he was seeing was real.

“I would be happy to explain but before I do I want to introduce you to my mate.” Rosalie held out her hand for Bella to take and helped her out of the car.

“Holy shit that’s Bella Swan.” Emmett exclaimed not sure which was more surprising. Rosalie being human or a real life celebrity was at their house.

Bella smiled at the big man.“It’s good to see you again Emmett.”

“She knows my name!!” Emmett said in awe.

Veronica rolled her eyes at her mate. “Get a hold of yourself.”

“You’re just mad that she doesn’t know your name.” Emmett said defensively.

“I’m sorry Emmet but I know all of your names.” Bella chuckled at his frown. “It’s good to see both you and Alice again Veronica.”

“Can we get back to the fact that Rosalie is now human.” Alice was excited that Bella seemed to remember her but she could fan girl over that later. They had more important things to talk about. Like the fact that a vampire was somehow now a human.

“Why don’t you both come inside and we can discuss this.”Carlisle was beyond curious what had transpired since Rosalie had left home two days ago.

“Before we do that can my people please check over your house. It’s for security reasons.” Bella added when she noticed their confusion.

“I assure you our house is perfectly safe.” Carlisle wasn’t sure why Bella would need to search their home. It wasn’t like her people could actually fight anything even if there was a danger.

“Please just let them.” Rosalie knew that Bella’s people would get antsy if they didn’t let them.

“Of course.” Esme agreed. If it made their guest feel safer than she would allow it.

Bella turned to Errol. “Take the others and search the house. Be respectful of their things and touch nothing you don’t have to. After that you may secure the area.”

“Thank you your holiness.” Errol made a hand motion and six people all dressed in black suits like Errol’s stepped out of the trees next to the Cullen’s yard.

“Where the fuck did they come from?” Emmett asked as four of the guys made their way to the house while the other three began walking around the outside of the house.

“I don’t know.” And Jasper didn’t like it.Something bigger than Bella being a celebrity was at play here and he wasn’t comfortable with it. Taking a step closer to Alice he put his arm around his mate and pulled her closer.

“Sebastian you can come out now.” Bella told her son.

“Thanks mom.” Sebastian was excited to meet Rosalie’s family.He just hoped he made a good impression because he wanted Rosalie to be proud to be his mom. He knew that she didn’t consider him her son yet but he figured that if he made her family like him it would go a long way in their relationship.

“Mom? I thought he was your brother?” Alice was very confused on what was going on.

“Sebastian is Bella’s son.” Rosalie watched as the guards made their way out of the house.”It seems they are done.Why don’t we go inside and we can explain everything.”

“That would be nice.” Getting over his initial shock Carlisle was excited to get the complete story of what was going on because he had a feeling he was about to find out something amazing.

“You’ll be fine.” Bella whispered to Sebastian as she sent some of her magic to him. She could see how nervous he was and knew he wanted to make a good impression on Rosalie’s family.

Sebastian felt a rush of calm wash over him.“Thanks mom.”

“It’s no problem.” Bella told him. She herself wasn’t nervous about meeting Rosalie’s family. What she was worried about was if she could hold back her anger at the man who took her love away from her.Logically Bella knew that the circumstances probably called for Rosalie to be changed or she would die but logic couldn’t fan the flames of anger. If Carlisle had searched her out like Rosalie wanted or if he hadn’t moved away so quickly Bella would have never been separated from her beloved. Taking a deep breath Bella reminded herself that if Rosalie hadn’t been taken away she probably would have never found her son. Even though being away from Rosalie was heartbreaking they were together now and Sebastian was with them. Reciting a quiet prayer to god asking for forgiveness for forsaking him for his blessings Bella smiled at Rosalie when she held her hand out for her to take. She would keep her anger in check because it was god’s will that her trials led her to this moment. Who knew maybe there was a reason she needed to be in the Cullen’s life.
