Mother Nature 12

“Hello Isabella.” Isabella wasn’t surprised that her father knew she was coming. He probably expected her to come sooner. She had finished helping Aphrodite and immediately made her way to her father’s realm. She wanted to get back to her mates but needed to have this discussion first.

“Hello father.” Isabella greeted the man sitting in his library reading a book.

“Shall we bother with pleasantries or do you wish to just start yelling?”The All Father asked.

“I’m not going to yell.” Isabella sighed at the obvious surprise on her father’s face. “I’m not. I am more than pleased with who you picked out for my companions. My problem is that they have known each other for almost a century and you let them be close but not be bonded. I know why you did it and I’m touched but it is something you need to apologize for.”

The All Father took a second to look over his child. It wasn’t right to have favorites but Isabella was his. She never strayed from her duties and always put others by above herself. That’s what made him actually take her request seriously. If it had been anyone else he would tell them it was beneath him to apologize to anyone. “And how would you like me to make amends?”

“I don’t know. I just don’t want them to resent me.” Isabella said.

“I don’t think they will resent you but I understand your request.”The All Father searched his mind for the one thing that the three companions would think was a worthy apology.”How do you feel about having children?”

“What?” Isabella didn’t understand where this conversation was going.

“It is both of your companions greatest wish to have children of their own bodies.I will grant you the spark of life for the both of them so that they would bear your children.” The All Father wasn’t surprised by the look of shock on his daughter’s face. He wasn’t one to search his children’s minds to fulfill their desires but Isabella deserved it.

“But they are vampires.” Isabella wasn’t sure how that would work.

“That is why you need my help to pass on the spark of life and can not do it yourself.” The All Father sighed. “You have helped so many new lives enter this world and I know you yearn to have a child of your own. Since you have shown no interest in having one with one of our kind it is only fair that you get the opportunity to have them with your companions.”

“Would they be vampires as well as demigods?” Isabella asked.

“No they would take on the human traits of their mothers and some of your powers as a goddess.”The All Father told her.

“I don’t know if I can accept this. It’s to much.” Isabella wanted this, she wanted it more than she could ever express but didn’t think she was worthy enough for such a gift.

“It’s because you would actually reject the gift because you think yourself unworthy that makes you worthy.”The All Father said.

“How would I raise one child let alone two?” Isabella didn’t know how to be a parent.

“You wouldn’t be alone. Not only would you have your companions but I think you will find that both of their families will be more than happy to give you a hand.” The All Father knew that any child that became a part of their family would be loved beyond measure.It was one of the reasons he made the offer.

“We have only met altogether once.Isn’t it to soon to be talking about children?”Isabella asked.

“You need to talk to Nyx about vampire bonds.Once both of them laid eyes on you they loved you as fiercely as you love them.To them it will feel that there was never a time in their life that they didn’t love you.I am almost positive that the next time you speak to them they will want to talk about cohabitating.” The All Father said.

“Going from talking about living together to having children is a big step.How would I even bring it up?”Isabella realized she wanted this. She wanted this more than she ever wanted anything and that scared her. What if her companions didn’t?

The All Father sighed at the look of defeat on his daughter’s face.”I will overlook the insult to my abilities as I know you are emotional but do you think I did not search your companions’ very souls to find out their deepest desire? They want this and the sooner you tell them the better.”

“What should I do about the two vampires that have challenged me?” Isabella wanted to know if her father had any ideas to take care of the two vampires.

“I’m afraid that is for you to decide.It could be another thing you speak to Nyx about but I doubt you need the help. You took the boy’s gift and singer away from him. That’s a good start.Even though I want to take care of it for you I can’t get involved directly. You know the other titans would see it as breaking the rules.” The All Father doubted they would be upset because it was for Isabella as she was loved by all but didn’t want to cause any rifts with their own children.

Isabella sighed.”I apologize that wasn’t fair to ask you.”

“It’s alright.” The All Father said. “I will give you some advice though. Consult your mates before you make a move as it will make them feel more of your equal.”

“When I tell them of who I am are they going to have problems with it?” Isabella hadn’t really thought of that.

“If you were them what would you feel being bonded to you?” The All Father asked.

Isabella thought about it. “I see what you mean.I think at first I would feel a little unsure.”

“Exactly, so make sure you are always open with them. I know you aren’t use to having someone that you actually feel comfortable talking to but you must with your two companions. They will not put up with half truths or you keeping everything to yourself.” The All father told her.

“That will be hard but I understand.” It would take some work but Isabella knew her companions were worth it.

“Another word of advice is that although Aphrodite is considered an expert don’t follow everything she told you. Take it in and adapt it to your relationship.” The All father smiled when Isabella blushed.

“She did have some rather extreme ways for me to romance my companions.” Isabella wasn’t comfortable listening to half the things the goddess had said so she wasn’t sure that she would bring anything up.

“The best ways to romance them is to be sincere. In your words and actions.” The All Father told her.

“Thank you father.” Isabella walked over to him and gave him a hug.

The All Father smiled as he hugged her back. “Don’t worry you will do just fine. I have no doubts concerning this.”

“I’ll let you get back to your studies.”Isabella said as he father released her from the hug.

“Remember be yourself.” The All father told her.

“I will.” Isabella called out as she left the room. She had many things to think about and wanted to talk to Nyx before she returned to Rosalie and Tanya. She missed the pair terribly but wanted to clear a few things up before she returned to them. Hopefully they would be happy with her news. Isabella’s father had said that it was their deepest desire but Isabella had her doubts. It wouldn’t be surprising if her father was doing what was best for Isabella as he had when he didn’t allow them to bond without her. Isabella honestly believed that he wouldn’t do that but as she began to realize that it was her desire as well she was becoming unsure. She was holding back from getting to hopeful because she wanted to talk to Rosalie and Tanya first. Hopefully they would be as excited as she was about it.If not Isabella didn’t know what she would do.
