“I think we should probably go downstairs and talk to the others.” Tanya said from her spot cuddled up with Rosalie on the bed. After Isabella had left the pair had moved to Rosalie’s bed where they held each other sharing soft kisses and shy smiles. They had so many things to talk about but it was by unspoken mutual agreement that they would leave the deep conversations for when Isabella returned.

“I know you’re right but I don’t want to move.” Now knowing Tanya was her mate Rosalie didn’t want to share her time with anyone other than the blond and Isabella. It felt like they had so much time to make up for and Rosalie selfishly wanted to start right then.

“I don’t either but I’m a coven leader.I need to speak to my coven about the fact that not only have you joined us but about the mate bonds as well.” Tanya said.

“Is it wrong I’m kind of looking forward to Kate’s reaction when you tell her of your bond with Isabella?” Rosalie expected Kate to leave the coven knowing Isabella was going to be around more often. Well Rosalie hoped she would be around more often. How much time Isabella would be able to spend with them would be another thing they would have to discuss with her.

Tanya chuckled at the thought. “Maybe this will finally get her to stop clinging to me all the time.”

“I don’t want her to cling to you at all.” Rosalie was a newly mated vampire. Her instincts would demand she destroy anyone who touched her mate even if they were being nonaggressive.

“I think all of us are going to have to get use to respecting each other’s boundaries. Do you think Isabella will act the same way as us?” Tanya wondered if their mate would act as vampires did or if she would be more understanding.

Rosalie shrugged. “She seemed to not know much about vampires at all.”

“That’s true.” Tanya said as she moved to get off the bed. She smiled at Rosalie when the other blond tried to pull her back. “Duty calls I’m afraid.”

“Do you think when Isabella comes back tomorrow we can take a vacation with her?” Rosalie would like to have a few days with both her mates to explore their new bond.

“I think we still need to worry about Carlisle and Edward. I don’t know how much I trust the two of them around the family. Especially with Edward’s gift now gone.” Tanya figured the two had already began plotting.“That’s not even mentioning how pissed Carlisle was when you left his coven and joined mine.”

“I hate that you’re right. You could feel the rage coming off of him. Him and Edward are probably locked away in his office planning their revenge.” Rosalie could imagine the two of them coming up with grand plans to take out Bella and demand Rosalie rejoin their coven. “Do you think Olivia is going to be alright?”

“I’m hoping Alice can keep an eye on her and will let us know if there is any need to worry. Now that Edward can no longer read her mind he has no way of going around her visions.” Tanya said.

“It is rather nice to know that we will have our privacy now. Ever since I was turned Edward has been privy to my thoughts and now that he isn’t I feel like I can finally relax.” Rosalie had alway been angry that Edward not only heard her thoughts but broadcasted to the world what they were. She was feeling a lot happier now he could no longer do so.

“That is nice.” Tanya agreed. “Edward was one of the reasons we kept our distance from your coven. Heck I think Edward is the reason most vampires stay away from your coven.”

“My ex-coven.” Rosalie reminded her.

Tanya smiled. “That’s right you’re a Denali now.”

“Rosalie Denali.”Rosalie mused. “I think it has a certain ring to it.”

“You would change your name for me?” Tanya was surprised that Rosalie would even considered it. When she was turned she refused to take the Cullen name as she wanted to hold on to the last part of her human life.

“Gladly.” Rosalie easily let herself be pulled into a kiss. Changing her name was a big step but it felt right. Tanya was her future it was time to stop clinging to her past.

Tanya clung to Rosalie as she deepened the kiss. It was as she lay her body down completely on top of Rosalie that Rosalie pushed her away. “What’s wrong?”

“If we go any further it is almost guaranteed we will exchange mating bites. I want to wait for Isabella to share that with us.” Rosalie wasn’t sure if Isabella could be bitten but didn’t want her other mate to be left out of such an important step of their relationship.

“You are completely right. I didn’t think of that.” Although Tanya would have liked to continue she felt the same way as Rosalie. She to wanted to share that step with Isabella. “Do you think she can be bitten?”

“I’m not sure. If her claims of being a goddess is true our venom might not affect her but then again her blood could affect us.” Rosalie said.

“That’s true. I wonder what the blood of a goddess would do to a vampire.” Tanya imagined there would be some kind of side effect. She didn’t think it would kill them though.

“I hope that at least she can bare the mating mark. If she can’t our vampire sides are not going to be able to calm down when others are around her.” Rosalie knew that until their mate was marked a vampire felt insecure and possessive in the bond. Once the bite mark was visible it allowed the vampire the constant reminder that their mate was claimed and others would know as well.

“There is no use worrying about it until we know for sure.” Tanya didn’t want themselves to get worked up until they talked to Isabella about it.

“She did claim she knew a vampire expert. So if she doesn’t know then maybe she could ask them.” Rosalie said.

“She could but if we are going to have to control ourselves then we better leave the bedroom. I may be over a thousand years old but I am still a newly mated vampire and my restraint can only be pushed so far before it crumbles and I have my way with you.” Tanya told her.

Rosalie sighed. “It almost makes we second guess whether waiting is the right idea.”

“We both know it is.” Tanya chuckled as she pulled an unwilling Rosalie out of the bed. Deciding to forgo letting Rosalie walk she cradled her bridal style and moved to the door.

“What are you doing put me down.” Rosalie demanded.

“No I want to keep you close. Especially since we are going to be around two unmated vampires.” Tanya may have trusted her sisters but she hadn’t been mated for more than a few hours. With her other mate away she was already feeling on edge and didn’t want to know what would happen if Kate or Irina tried to flirt with Rosalie just to mess with her. Holding Rosalie tightly to her chest Tanya reminded herself that her sisters loved her and wouldn’t purposely do anything to hurt her. That was the mantra she would keep repeating in her head. It would probably be the only thing that would keep Tanya from killing everyone.
