“Hello darling.”Bella heard a woman’s voice greet Athenodora when the video call connected. It was decided that the queen would explain the situation to her mates first then she would introduce Bella. Bella along with her two mates and the queen were all in Tanya’s private office for this meeting. Bella was somewhat nervous but was trying to appear calm because both Rosalie and Victoria were on edge. She wasn’t sure exactly what they expected would happen but didn’t think meeting the queens was more dangerous than Carlisle coming after them. Then again if by the way everyone including the Denali were acting that meant the situation was very serious.

“Hello my loves.” Athenodora replied smiling as she saw both Sulpicia and Didyme on the screen.

“How has your trip been going? We expected you to contact us sooner.” Didyme said.

“The trip has been interesting. We have already caught one of Carlisle’s people trying to spy on us.” Athenodora told them.

“Is the girl alright? Can you bring her to Italy yet?” Sulpicia asked.

Athenodora held back a flinch when she heard both of Bella’s mates growl. “That is a delicate situation that we will need to discuss.”

“Who is growling?Are you not alone?” Didyme’s voice was concerned.

“I am not alone. That is something I wanted to discuss with you.Just let me tell you first then you can overwhelm me with questions.” Athenodora smiled when she heard Bella’s snort of laughter. Turning to her daughter she winked at the girl which only made Bella laugh harder.

“Who is laughing at us? What is going on?” Sulpicia demanded.

“If you let me speak I would tell you.” Athenodora said. “I have met the human. Her name is Isabella Swan but prefers to be called Bella. Many things have been talked about but the most important thing I wish to tell you is that I have discovered I have a familiar bond with the human.”

The silence seemed to stretch on for an uncomfortable minute and Bella became concerned. “Are they alright?”

“They are fine little one just shocked.” Athenodora assured her.

Didyme was the first one to break out of her stupor.“Is that her? Is she with you right now?”

“Yes, she is. I knew you would like to meet her so I convinced Bella to attend this meeting.” Athenodora motioned for Bella. “Bella would you please come here.”

“I’ll be fine you are right here.”Bella gave both her mates’ hands a reassuring squeeze before making her way to Athenodora.

Athenodora held out her arm for Bella and smiled when the girl allowed the queen to wrap it around her shoulders and pull her tight to her body. “Sulpicia, Didyme this is Bella. Bella these are my mates Sulpicia and Didyme.”

“Hello.” Bella gave an awkward wave to the screen as she looked over the queens. Sulpicia was wearing a gown that was fit to be out of the Middle Ages and when they locked eyes Bella felt the same way she felt when she looked at Athenodora. It was like she knew this woman and when she looked at Didyme she felt the same jolt of familiarity go through her.

“I guess that means that a bond can be formed over a video call.” Athenodora had worried it wouldn’t. Then again some made semi bonds with photographs. Or at least felt the urge to meet the person they had seen.

“You are magnificent. Tell me everything about yourself.” Sulpicia said, her voice excited.

“You must come home at once. Then we can properly meet.” Didyme said at the same time.

Bella wasn’t surprised when Victoria and Rosalie were suddenly at her side. “Uhm I think we need to still discuss whether going to Italy is a good idea.”

“Why wouldn’t it be? You are our daughter. You will live in the castle.” Sulpicia’s sounded like she couldn’t understand why Bella would think otherwise. “We will need to get some rooms remodeled so you can have a wing close to our own.”

“My love calm down.” Athenodora knew that her mates would react this way. Unfortunately they wouldn’t be able to just demand Bella and her mates do anything. If they did they would push the triad away. “There have been discussions on what the three of them want to do. You have to remember that not only does Bella have two mates but an entire coven she is attached to.”

“She is our daughter. We have a say as well.” Didyme said.

“Bella would you mind if I spoke to my mates alone for a bit?” Athenodora knew she needed to explain what was going on before things got out of hand and Bella refused to even speak to them again.

“That’s fine.” Bella said. “It was nice meeting you.”

“Wait why are you sending her away?” Didyme asked.

“Because we need to speak about some things in private.” Athenodora told her.

“You will call us again won’t you?” Sulpicia’s voice was somewhat desperate.

Bella nodded. “Sure. I’ll work out a time with Athenodora.”

“Thank you Bella. I will see you soon.” Athenodora said.

“I’ll be in our room.” Bella told her as she, Rosalie and Victoria made their way out of the room. None of them said anything until the door to their bedroom was closed. “So what do you think will happen?”

“Well it seems like Sulpicia and Didyme want you to come to Italy right away and Athenodora is telling them why that won’t happen.” Rosalie said as she laid down on her side of their bed.

Bella climbed in next to her and pulled Victoria down with her. “They can’t really force me to go to Italy can they?”

“I won’t let them.” Victoria promised. There was no way Bella was going to be going to Italy unless it was her idea. “The queens can bluster all they want but if this bond is real then they won’t do much and if worse comes to worse we can alway make a run for it.”

“I really had hoped that when this whole Carlisle thing was over and we were finally safe that we could get our own place and have some privacy.” Bella had a feeling that was not going to happen now because even if they didn’t have to go to Italy it seemed like the Denali wanted them to stay with them.

Victoria raised an eyebrow at Bella.“And what would we do if we had an entire house to ourselves?”

“Well it would just… I mean we would be… I…” Bella stuttered out.

Rosalie chuckled. “I think that our mate has a fantasy of christening every room in our imaginary house.”

“Is that true Bella? Is sex in our bedroom to boring for you?” Victoria smirked at the blush she could see forming on Bella’s cheeks.

“No, I’m not bored.” Bella quickly denied. “I just want us to have some time alone. It seems that we only have that when we hide in here. It would be nice to be able to snuggle on the couch together and not have to worry about being bothered. I don’t know. I just feel like we haven’t gotten a second to breath let alone have time to spend together.”

“I know what you mean. I like the idea of living with the Denali but it would be nice to have some time to ourselves.” Rosalie agreed.

“I am all for just telling all of them to go to hell and the three of us leaving.” Victoria would actually prefer it.

“I don’t think that is something that can happen. No matter how wonderful it sounds.” Bella said.

“We do find ourselves in a bit of a situation and running away before Bella is changed isn’t an option.” Rosalie hated that she had to be the voice of reason. Grabbing her mate and running with Victoria was sounding better and better with every new development.

“Are the queens going to want me to go to Italy to be changed?” Bella asked. “I want the two of you to do it and don’t want anyone preventing that.”

“We will be the ones to change you.” Victoria wasn’t going to let anyone even the queens stop that from happening.

A knock on the door made Bella groan. “Can you tell whoever that is to go away. I want some alone time with the both of you.”

“With pleasure.” Victoria kissed Bella on the cheek and opened the door revealing Kate.

“Hey I wanted to know if Bella wanted to watch some more fights?” Kate had been waiting impatiently for Bella to get done with the queen so she could spend time with the human.

“Bella wants to take a nap so we are going to stay up here for a while.” Victoria wanted to be rude but knew that if they needed help against the queens they would need to be on the Denali’s good side.

“Oh ok, well let me know if she changes her mind.” Kate was disappointed but wasn’t going to push.

“We will.” Victoria shut the door and made her way back to the bed. Instead of laying next to Bella she laid on top of the human. “Now that we have a few hours to ourselves what do you want to do?”

“Uhm…” Bella’s mind went blank and instead of answering with actual words she pulled Victoria into a heated kiss.

“I like this idea.” Rosalie said as she trailed her hand over Bella’s chest to palm one of her breast. The past couple days had been stressful and it would be nice to take some time to enjoy each other. The fact that their human was always up for getting naked was just a bonus. As Victoria sat up and started pulling at Bella’s clothes Rosalie removed her own. She wasn’t sure how long they would have until they were bothered again but it seemed like all three of them were going to take advantage of every minute they had and Rosalie was completely ok with it.
