When Dawn Breaks 51

Tala had set everything up so that members of her tribe were the only ones who came on the estate. Since they knew about shifters and vampires Bella knew they could be trusted to not say anything to the wrong person if they saw something supernatural. Now that everything was here it was just having the items put in the right places. Rosalie had already directed them to put the things she needed for their rooms into the private wing. Now she and Bella were going to help set up the main situation room.
“I think it’s two things that are making them feel that way.” Rosalie said.
“Oh, what would that be?” Bella asked.
“Well watching a bear shifter rip Emmett’s arm off made a lot of them happy.” Rosalie had watched her brother’s fight and as she predicted Emmett lost an arm. She was just happy that the shifters let him have it back so easily and didn’t try to keep it.
“You could see how proud each of them were when they found out that vampires weren’t invincible. Seeing that was good for them. After having their young taken so easily and not being able to fight back against the vampires who took them had to have affected their confidence somewhat.” Bella had seen it with the way the shifters almost shied away from the vampires in the White House.
“That’s true.” Rosalie agreed.
“And what is the other reason do you think?” Bella asked.
“We finally have something for them to help us with.” Rosalie said. “They have been getting restless and disheartened. Now that we have made some kind of progress and they can help has given them some hope that we are going to finally get the people responsible for taking their young.”
“We are definitely going to be needing their help. Getting a situation room set up will help us out immensely.” Bella said.
“We moved all the furniture out of the formal dining room so we have the space to put the desks and tables we need. That will give people a place to work.” Rosalie had watched over the moving of things out of the dining room like a hawk. The dining table alone was worth more than Rosalie’s personal car collection put together and there was no way she was going to let people break anything.
“Did you find anything interesting while you were moving stuff?” Bella hadn’t really gone through the rooms of the house that much. They only really used the formal dining room a couple of times as the family usually ate with the staff in their dining room.
“Oh nothing to exciting. Just a bunch of priceless antiques that are worth more than I like to think about.” Rosalie said flippantly.
Bella chuckled. “It’s a good thing you aren’t human because if you were you would probably have health problems due to how much you stress out about things.”
“One of us has to.” Rosalie huffed. “You are so go with the flow that if I didn’t reel you in you would probably give away all your money and belongings. Not having a care in the world while you did it.”
“I want to say that isn’t true but maybe you are somewhat right.” Bella admitted.
“Regardless have you gotten any word back from your dad?” Rosalie asked.
Bella nodded. “I got complete background information on half of the names I gave him. From what I read two of them so far have criminal records. I didn’t get to more than skim over the information so I don’t know exactly what they were arrested for.”
“And what exactly are we going to do with that information? You mentioned having the shifters do research.” Rosalie knew that Bella wanted to use the shifters but wasn’t quite sure how they would be useful.
“Mainly I am going to give them the information on each of the main players and have them research their lives. Now a days you can find everything about a person on the internet. I want them to build a complete profile on each person. Where they live, work, what they drive, who are the members of their family. Stuff like that.” Bella explained.
“That is something that they will be able to do.” Rosalie was happy that is wasn’t something to complicated. The shifters wanted to help and if they didn’t have anything important to help with then it would just discourage them.
“It’s may be simple but it is important.”Bella said. “I need to help get everyone set up then I’m going back to the bunker. Do you want me to leave you the laptop and other paperwork about the dummy corporations I brought back yesterday?”
“Yes, I can build up the links and organize the information you found so you can present it to your grandfather’s friend. That way he can get started on investigating them sooner.” Rosalie said.
“Good idea.” Bella liked that she had Rosalie by her side to handle some of the responsibilities that came with being the White Tiger. “I know I don’t say it enough but thank you for always being there to pick up my slack. I wouldn’t be able to accomplish a tenth of the things I do without all your hard work.”
“You are giving me to much credit. You would be fine without my help.” Bella was strong and Rosalie knew that she would be able to accomplish anything she put her mind to.
“I could never give you enough credit. I love you so much and when this is all over and we defeat the bad guys I am going to give you at least the week of alone time you have been wanting. Maybe more.” Bella promised.
Rosalie smiled. “As long as you remember to turn off your phone and that clothing will not be allowed unless absolutely needed.”
“Don’t you worry. Not only will my phone be off but I won’t be telling anyone exactly where we are going. The only person who will be able to contact us will be Charlie but that will only be incase of emergencies.” Bella told her.
“You know this just gives me that much more of an incentive to get this wrapped up right?” Rosalie pulled Bella towards her and wrapped her arms around the taller girl’s neck.
Bella happily leaned down and kissed Rosalie. “It was the part about no clothing that gave you the motivation wasn’t it?”
“Of course. If I had it my way you would never wear any clothing. The only reason I let you is because I would kill anyone who looked at your naked body.” Rosalie explained.
“Well if you want to get me naked soon then we need to get to work.” Bella hugged Rosalie tight to her body one more time before she released her.
Rosalie sighed. “I know you’re right. That doesn’t mean that I am not going to be thinking about your naked body all day.”
“Depending on how much work we get done today you may be able to see my naked body right after dinner.” Bella said.
“Well if I wasn’t motivated before then I certainly am now.” Rosalie grabbed Bella’s hand and tugged on it. “Come on we have work to do.”
“Alright there is no need to run.” Bella had to jog to keep from toppling over as Rosalie pulled her down the hallway.
“I’m not running, I’m walking with a purpose.” Rosalie told her as she sped up a little bit more. They all had a lot of work to do but by dinner time Rosalie hoped that she and Bella would be able to debrief each other and then spend the rest of the night forgetting the outside world even existed. She would have to take a break and set the rest of their new rooms up so that Bella would have a nice relaxing place to come home to when she came back from the bunker. Rosalie knew that even though she had been told what had been done to the children that Bella was forced to read about the events in detail. That couldn’t be easy for her mate, reading about children being tortured.Rosalie was just happy that she could give Bella a place to have some privacy while she came to terms with what she had read. As her mate Rosalie was more than willing to give Bella what she needed, be that an ear to listen to or to provide a sanctuary for her to be herself. It wasn’t something she minded doing. Looking back at Bella she knew without a doubt that no matter what they went through it would just make them stronger as a couple. Fate chose them to be together and together they would save the world if they had to.
