“Remember Carlisle is the only one who is to speak. I don’t want any of you to antagonize the wolves.” Tanya told the group of vampires standing on the treaty line. After they had discussed the army and realizing they had very little information they decided to let the wolves know of the problem. It was brought up that some of the army could be sent to scout out the area and might go onto the reservation to do it. Everyone agreed the wolves needed to know so they had set up a meeting. The only problem Tanya had with the whole situation was that everyone decided to come with them. Isabella of course wanted to go to see the wolves again, Rosalie wanted to stay with Isabella, so that Tanya was sure to see Isabella coo them, since Rosalie was going Emmett decided to go as well.Tanya had forced him not to wear his new gloves even though he wanted too. Garrett, Liam, Siobhan and Maggie had never seen shape shifters before and were curious and Irina and Kate wanted to be with their mates. Even Esme, Eleazar and Carmen were there. The only two who were missing were Alice and Jasper as they had volunteered to guard Bella.Those who came had all promised to be on their best behavior but as Tanya caught sight of Kate eyeing Isabella’s sword she knew this was all going to go to hell. “Kate you stand by me.”

“Why? I want to hang out with Isabella.” Kate wanted to be as close to the crazy woman as possible incase anything actually happened she might be able to get to use Isabella’s sword in a fight. It would be awesome to be able to use it against real enemies after the amount of trees and boulders she had tried it on earlier. She and Emmett had already made plans to go to a scrapyard to see what kind of damage they could do there. Isabella had agreed to go as well because she wanted to look at the vehicles that this dimension had for her Rosalie.

“Yes well you can hang out with her later. Now we are going to be meeting with the wolves so you need to be on your best behavior.” Tanya made eye contact with all four of the trouble makers adding. “All of you do.”

Emmett held up his hands in defense. “I’m not going to do anything. You wouldn’t let me bring my gloves.”

“I am not going to say anything I’m just here for Isabella.” Rosalie said.

Isabella just shrugged. “I don’t see how I could possibly cause any problems.”

“Me neither.” Kate promised.

“Of course I forgot, all of you are perfect angels.” Tanya said sarcastically.

“You guys have angels in this dimension?” Isabella asked.

“Angels are real?” Isabella nodded causing Emmett to go wide eyed. “Holy shit.”

“Yeah I bet if they could shit it would be holy.” Kate laughed causing Emmett to laugh as well.

Tanya pinched the bridge of her nose and sighed. She had already lost control of the group and the wolves haven’t even shown up yet.” Kate, Emmett, I know hearing angels are real is incredible and you must have many questions about them but why don’t we wait until the meeting is over to ask Isabella about them.”

“I myself would like to know more about angels. Are they religious figures in other dimensions?” Carlisle asked.

“Carlisle you too?” Tanya looked at him in shock.

Carlisle looked like he would be blushing if he were human. “Of course we will wait until the meeting is over.”

“Yes let’s do that.” Tanya felt like this meeting was going try her patience. As she heard the wolves coming she wondered if she could get away with just grabbing her Bella and running far away from all of them and go hide. Not because of the army but because of the trouble the group of them together were most definitely going to get into. She just hoped they didn’t cause enough damage to bring the attention of the Volturi.

“Cullens what have you called us here for and why did you bring so many?” Sam asked cautiously. When he had received word that the vampires wanted to meet with him he hadn’t been expecting to be met with so many. If they stayed around the area he had no doubt the wolves’ numbers were going to increase rapidly.

“Hello Sam.” Carlisle greeted the wolves. “We have come here today to speak to you about a situation that may concern you. As to why we have brought so many we thought it a good idea to introduce all those that are in the area to you.”

“So they are staying?” Sam asked. He narrowed his eyes as he noticed three of the vampire’s had red eyes. “You know we don’t allow red eyed vampires around our lands.”

“Yes, I do. However they will be needed in the upcoming event so I ask that you overlook their presence while they are here. We can guarantee they will be hunting far away from Forks and will never cross the treaty line.” Carlisle hoped that Sam would take him at his word and believe him. If not he didn’t want to have to fight the wolves. Not only did the vampires outnumber them but they were even better trained then the shifters. Isabella alone could kill them all even without the use of her sword.

“I would like to hear of this event before I make my final decisions.” Sam sent a glare at the wolves stopping the growls and barks.

“Of course. A while ago a vampire named James visited us with his two coven mates one of them his true mate. After he became interested in hunting Bella we killed him but the other vampires got away. Unfortunately because Victoria is James’ mate she has decided to avenge her mate by killing not only Bella but the rest of my coven as well.” Carlisle told them.

“If what you are saying is true then why don’t you just kill the vampire and be done with it.” Sam asked.

“Because her method to eliminate us is that she created an army of newborns vampires to kill us.” Carlisle explained.

“I see.” Sam thought the situation over. This was something that they would need help with if the army came to their reservation. “How many vampires are we taking about?”

“We have no numbers as of yet but are investigating. My daughter Alice has been focusing her visions on Victoria and is hoping that will give us some solid information on what she is planning.” Carlisle was happy it seemed like Sam was taking the situation seriously and not just acting on bravado and claiming the wolves would take care of it.

“The red eyed vampires will be left alone.” Sam decided. “All we ask is that they do not come on our land. Not knowing them and the fact that other red eyes may be in the area could cause them to be attacked if confused with the others. As they are your allies we don’t want mistakes to happen and sometimes our wolves don’t allow us to make decisions.”

“Thank you Sam.”Carlisle was happy they were thinking of the safety of the Irish coven. He would hate for something to happen by accident that would cause a war between them and the wolves. “My family and guests are well versed when it comes to newborns so if you wish we can help train you better to fight them.”

“How are they different from older vampires?” Sam asked. He would have to think about the training part. He was intrigued by the idea but would have to speak to the elders to decide on whether to accept or not.

“In our first year vampires still have some of their own human blood left in their bodies. Because of this it makes them stronger, faster and just more enhanced than an older vampire. The one thing that can be used to our advantage is that they are also more impulsive. They don’t fight that well unless they had training as a human. That doesn’t mean they are easy to kill though.” Carlisle warned.

Sam nodded. He would have to try and convince the elders to allow them to train with the vampires. It could be very helpful in the future. “Thank you for informing us of the threat. I will speak to our elders about what you have told us and will call you later with a response to your offer.”

“That is perfectly fine.” Carlisle was happy that the meeting had gone well. He had expected the wolves to make their way home but as Sam looked conflicted and a few of the wolves made yipping sounds he was confused on what more they wanted to say. “Is there anything else we can do for you?”

“Well it’s just..” Same trailed off and glared at the russet colored wolf as it nudged him in the side. “You ask her.”

The russet colored wolf huffed and ran into the bushes coming back as Jacob Black. He looked over to Isabella and smiled shyly. Now that it was up to him he wasn’t so sure about the request he was about to ask. “Uhm well, we were wondering if we could talk to Isabella?”

“I’m sorry I’m not allowed to talk to you.” Isabella told them.

“Why not?” Jacob asked.

“Tanya told me I couldn’t.” Isabella said.

Tanya sighed and pitched the bridge of her nose again. This was the moment she was going to be the first vampire to get a headache. As she noticed everyone staring at her including the wolves she rolled her eyes. “Isabella when I said that I meant that you were not to antagonize the wolves not that you couldn’t talk to them.”

“Oh yes, of course I knew that.” Isabella said causing Rosalie to laugh. “What is it you wish to speak to me about?”

“Well Bella had told us about some of your travels and we were wondering if you would be willing to come speak with us so we could ask you some questions?” Jacob was hit in the back by a sandy colored wolf and added. “And maybe bring your hover bike.”

“I see. I too want to speak to you about your species.” Isabella thought about what terms she should set. “I have one condition.”

Jacob looked at her hoping it wasn’t anything too outlandish. “What would that be?”

“I wish to fight against your alpha while he is in wolf form.” Isabella told him.

“What?!” Sam exclaimed.

“Badass.” Emmett said.

“Fuck yeah I want to fight a wolf too.” Kate added.

“You want to fight me?” Sam asked. Of all the things he thought she would request a fight wasn’t one of them.

Isabella nodded.” Yes I promise not to use my gifts or weapons. I have only fought two other types of shifters before not counting children of the moon. I’m wondering how well I’ll do against you.”

“I guess if it’s not to the death then that will be fine.” Sam didn’t see any problem other than getting some wounds that would heal. “I just ask that you don’t bite me as vampire venom is poisonous. “

“Excellent.” Isabella was excited. She had already discussed with her coven about taking on a wolf and after being told to be careful her mate had given her permission.

Tanya just threw her hands up in the air and made her way back to the Cullen’s. Even though she was the Denali coven leader she decided she didn’t want to deal with any of them anymore. Spending time with her mate sounded a lot more appealing than whatever craziness Isabella was going to drag them all into. She just hoped that in the end Garrett would be able to keep Kate from killing herself. She wasn’t worried about Irina because not only was her sister more cautious than Kate but she had the Irish coven to protect her. Eleazar and Carmen were old enough and smart enough to handle themselves even though it seemed Eleazar was willing to follow Isabella anywhere the insane woman went.

Bella looked up confused as she noticed Tanya making her way into the living room. “Not that I’m not happy to see you but where is everyone else?”

“Oh they are all off in the woods making plans for Isabella to wrestle a wolf.” Tanya said like it was no big deal.

“What?!” Alice exclaimed. “Did something go wrong? Do they need our help?”

Tanya shook her head. “Nothing went wrong. The meeting was quick and went smoothly. It was when the wolves asked Isabella if she would take some time to talk them that she agreed on the condition that she could fight the alpha.”

“Oh my god.” Jasper laughed. He was kind of sad he hadn’t went to the meeting with the others. He would have loved to see everyone’s faces when Isabella asked.

“Did she really ask that?” Tanya nodded so Bella asked another question. “Do you think she would actually be alright in a fight with Sam?”

“She made it so it wasn’t to the death and she couldn’t bite him so I think she will be fine. She also promised not to use her gift.” Tanya told them.

“It would actually be kind of fun to watch her fight a wolf. Did they say when they were going to be doing this and where?” Jasper had never seen a vampire fight a shape shifter before. He had always been curious but the only ones he had known of before were the children of the moon and they had been hunted to extinction long before he was born.

Tanya rolled her eyes and took Bella’s hand in her own. “I don’t know what they are planning and I don’t particularly care. I’m going to spend time with my mate. Only bother me if someone is dead and needs to be avenged.”

“We will.” Alice chuckled as she watched Tanya and Bella leave the house. Turning to Jasper she asked. “What kind of trouble do you think Isabella got into after Tanya left the meeting?”

“Who knows, when it involves her it’s best to expect the unexpected. I just hope that when they do fight we get a chance to watch.” Jasper said as he and Alice went back to watching their movie. He really did like Isabella. She was fun and had helped him more than he would ever thought someone could with his gift. He just hoped that whatever trouble she did get herself in she was able to get herself out of.
