“Are you sure having all that stuff on the plane is a good idea?” Rosalie asked Bella in a whisper as they sat in the back seats of the private plane so that no one would overhear her questioning Bella’s authority. Bella’s original idea was for her to go with Emmett, Charlotte and Peter and drive all the stuff they found in the building to the estate while Rosalie flew with Jasper, Alice and the 28 shifters that were coming to the estate. Rosalie had put her foot down and refused for her mate to be separated from her and now they were all on the plane with all the boxes and containers from the building. Thinking about the many risks that the humans could pose to everything was now having her second guess that decision.

“It will be fine.” Bella reassured her. “With Peter and Charlotte dressed in the gear we took off the vampires and Emmett in his tactical gear they look like proper security. They will also be staying in the cargo hold with everything so I’m not worried.”

“How did you manage to get them to be allowed in the cargo hold?” Rosalie asked.

“Being stupidly rich has it’s perks. It also makes people look the other way when money is pressed into their hands.” Bella told her.

“I don’t want to know what this is costing us.” Rosalie sighed.

Bella gave Rosalie a kiss on the cheek.“That’s why I’m not telling you.”

"So I’m taking it that I will be the one in charge of the shifters when we get to the estate?” Bella nodded her head at Rosalie’s question. “Ok while I’m doing that you are going to go over all the stuff we gathered? Where are you putting all that stuff?”

“I plan to put all it in the secure wing. We will have trucks meeting us when we land to transfer everyone and everything to the estate. There myself and Emmett will take care of moving it to the secure wing.” Bella told her.

“Why only Emmett? Won’t you need more help then that?Actually is it even a good idea to show Emmett where the bunker is?” Rosalie refused to call it a secure wing. It could withstand a nuclear bomb. It was a freakin bunker.

“I’m only bringing Emmett for two reasons. The first being the less people know about it the better. The second being everyone underestimates Emmett. They easily pass over him because they think he is only the muscle.” Bella explained.

Rosalie thought about that for a minute. It was true that most people didn’t take Emmett seriously and authority figures usually ignored him. Even the kings didn’t acknowledge Emmett when they had visited. “You’re right. Emmett is the perfect person to have help you. What about the shifters? Were you able to find a doctor to help them?”

“Yes I have the doctor that took care of my grandfather meeting us at the airport as well. He is some type of shifter but I’m not sure what exactly. As for what we are going to do with the shifters we need to talk to Alice and Jasper before we get there.Alice, Jasper.” Bella called out. “Can you come here for a minute?”

“Sure Bella. “Alice responded instantly. She rushed to Bella and Rosalie’s seats and stood at attention. “Alice Cullen reporting for duty ma’am.”

Rosalie rolled her eyes as Bella laughed. “There no need for that Alice, we just want to talk to you about what will happen when we get to the estate.”

“What do you need from us?” Jasper wrapped his arm around Alice’s waist and pulled her close. He didn’t want her pushing Rosalie’s buttons while they were involved in such a serious situation. They had all seen her get mad at Bella earlier when trying to figure out their traveling conditions.

“When we get to the estate I was hoping that the two of you would be willing to help Rosalie with keeping track of everyone.” Bella knew she didn’t have to explain to Jasper what she really meant. She needed them to make sure people didn’t go where they weren’t supposed to or take anything that wasn’t theirs.

“I don’t see a problem with that as long as the shifters are comfortable with us.” Jasper wouldn’t be letting Alice out of his sight just in case. He didn’t know any of these shifters, so he didn’t trust them not to attack any of them. They also might not be very trusting of them as they were attacked by vampires. It was essentially a powder keg situation they were going into. Just waiting for someone to be set off.

“Are we going to be able to go to the rooms we were allowed to last time?” Alice didn’t mind hanging out with the shifters. If she was honest with herself showing them around would fulfill her ongoing fantasy of being the woman of the manor. She just wished she had thought to get a dress the style women of means wore in the 1800’s. Maybe she would make one while she was there.

“Rosalie is the one who will decide what rooms are off limits and those that will be available. She is keyed to the security system to have access to everything there. If she allows it she can show you the layout and descriptions of every room. That will let you know what there is. Last time we didn’t really have time to explore.” Bella would leave all of that to Rosalie as she knew her imprint wouldn’t be comfortable with strangers just walking around the estate. It wouldn’t really affect Bella much because she expected a majority of her time to be spent in the secure wing going over the information they had gathered.

Alice sighed. “That means we are all going to be locked out of the house and have to stay outside.”

“I wish but no we will be good hosts and show our guests a nice time and a safe place to recover.” Rosalie just hoped that the children weren’t to traumatized by what had happened and would be able to relax while they received treatment. She had been surprised that all the children and their families had opted to join them but reasoned it was because of Bella being the White Tiger that had them agreeing so easily. Now they just had to figure out what to do with them.

“Don’t worry Rosalie, Alice and I will help anyway we can.” Jasper was already imagining all the ways he was going to have to reel in his wife. Especially if they were allowed to see what every room contained. Ever since they had left the last time Alice talked about the private movie theatre they hadn’t gotten to use. He wasn’t sure what would happen if she found out about the pool in the basement that he had heard Bella mention. There was also talk of a full spa. He sighed thinking about how he was going to keep Alice on task. Hopefully there would be a promise of future visits that would hold her over while the shifters were there.

“I know you will.” Bella said. She didn’t want to stress Rosalie more but she was a little worried about having so many people she didn’t know at the property. Her grandparents had had parties and invited people over many times but never had a bunch of strangers staying for an unknown amount of time. Bella trusted Rosalie to be on top of everything though.

Jasper pulled on Alice’s arm to get her to move towards the seats further away from Bella and Rosalie. “Why don’t we leave you two alone so you can get some rest before we land.”

“Thank you Jasper.” Rosalie laid her head on Bella’s shoulder as she watched Jasper and Alice walk away from them.

“Do you need to feed soon?” Bella asked. Rosalie hadn’t fed since Forks and she was worried Rosalie was hungry.

“Not right this second but when we get settled it would probably be a good idea.” Rosalie didn’t feel the thirst yet but she not only wanted to be safe but craved the intimacy that came with feeding from Bella. They had been on constant alert and had faced danger for the last few days and it had taken it’s toll on her. She needed to feel their bond to get herself settled again.

“Ok, after everyone gets settled we will take the night for ourselves.We deserve it.” Bella didn’t think anything bad would happen if they didn’t find out answers right away and she was feeling the same as Rosalie. She needed to be able to let go of all the responsibilities they had been saddled with and just take the time to enjoy the bond she had with her imprint. Reclining her seat Bella laid back smiling when Rosalie climbed onto her snuggling close. “You want to take a nap sweetheart?”

“That’s probably a good idea because you are going to need all the rest you can get if you are promising a whole night to ourselves.” Rosalie closed her eyes as she starting imagining all the things she was going to do to Bella once they got settled. It was with those thoughts she fell into blissful sleep with a small smile on her face.
