Primate Proposal

Love is blind, as they say. Two people could fall in love while being nothing alike, even if they're complete opposites of each other. A big example of this is the relationship between a certain meerkat-librarian and monkey-scientist. Jam and Meerina were the complete opposite of each other, yet would still meet up every Saturday night for a date. It had become a tradition, much like the obligatory body-swap that would follow!

Jam met the chunky meerkat outside her house, clad in only his unbuttoned lab-coat as per usual. Meerina opened the door and trotted our, her fat stomach jiggling with each step. "H-Hey, Jam!" Stuttered the sexy meerkat.

Jam smirked and wrapped his arm around the nervous meerkat's shoulder, "Come on, don't gotta be nervous around me, Meerina!"

Meerina gulped and nodded, "You're right, sorry!"

The two began to walk in unison with each other. "Hey, I know what'll make you less skittish! How about a classic body swap?" Asked the monkey with a smirk.

Meerina nodded vigorously, "S-Sure, let's do it! But only if I can swap us!"

Jam nodded vigorously, "Ooh, a mixup for our mixup! That sounds lovely, Meerina!"

Meerina reached into her cleavage and pulled out a magical book, "I-It is! Now let me just read this out loud..."

Jam waited with bated breath as Meerina cast the spell. "Two lovers meet and decide to swap, let their love fly and never drop. Let it be their curse, that only true love can reverse!"

Jam raised an eyebrow, "Wait, 'curse'?!"

Meerina smiled nervously as the spell got to work, "I-I'll tell you about it later!"

The lovers were then enveloped by a swirling vortex of neon colors, which quickly enveloped them in its luminescent radiance. This blast of magical energy caused their souls to float out of each other's bodies, resulting in their soulless bodies flopping onto the ground. Meerina's spirit swam through the air, happy about feeling light for once. She giggled, "It's nice to get out of my flabby body every once and a while!"

Jam's spirit floated over to Meerina's body and patted her spectral head, "I see someone's enjoying being a ghost! I remember when we used to swap souls, you'd always be super freaked about it, but now you're super into it and I dig that,"

Meerina nodded and smiled nervously, "I-It's all thanks to you, Jam! I never would've known the joys of being someone else if it wasn't for you,"

Jam gave her the thumbs, "Glad ya approve! Care to wear each other's 'flesh-suits' now?"

"Of course!"

The lovers' souls flew into each other's bodies, quickly taking them over. Jam found himself in Meerina's flabby form once more, a body he enjoyed quite a bit. Most of "her" body was now covered in tan fur, while the fur coating her belly was white. Her sizable breasts were kept hidden underneath a green librarian shirt, which was Meerina's usual attire. Jam grabbed her big belly, squeezing and kneading her new fat like dough. Jam smirked, "Damn, Meerina, your body's always got the flab I desire!"

Meerina (now in Jam's monkey body) blushed, "O-Oh, thanks!"

The former meerkat then looked over Jam's body. It was the same as always, complete with a skinny frame and prehensile tail. Meerina smiled as he reached around and grabbed his hairless butt-cheeks, something Jam often did to her body.

Jam smirked and raised an eyebrow, "Like what you see, 'Jam'?"

Meerina nodded, "O-Of course!"

The pair left their house, holding each others hands while smiling happily. Jam's fat belly jiggled with each solitary step, while her long meerkat feet treaded along the dirt. Meerina stumbled about a bit in Jam's body as they held hands, not being completely used to walking with hands for feet. The two then entered the park, glancing around as they entered it. The entire park was dark with the exception of a few street-lamps nearby. The only other light-source was the pale moonlight, which was reflected onto a nearby pond.

Once inside the park, Meerina put his hand on Jam's shoulder and gave her a nervous smile. Jam playfully lifted her fuzzy meerkat hands in the air, "You put the way in my tail, ya hot monkey you!"

Meerina's nervousness intensified, "O-Oh, Jam, you're such an animal!"

"But we're both animals, Meerina!"

The monkey laughed awkwardly, "R-Right..."

Jam then placed a flabby arm around Meerina's shoulder, "So, you mentioned something about a 'curse' that must be 'reversed' while speaking this spell?"

Meerina's blushed even harder, "Yeah, well a witch gave it to me and she said that it would bring me closer to my boyfriend! She said that it could only be reversed by a 'showing of true love',"

Jam gave an affirmative nod, "Alright, front left pocket!"

"H-Huh?!"

"The ring I always use to propose to you is in the front left pocket. Use that to propose to me and we should swap back!"

Meerina began to panic, "W-Wait, wouldn't a kiss be enough to break the spell?!"

"Look, I've been holding onto that ring for three years, it's about time I finally give it to you! Or you give it to me, whatever. Besides, we both love each other and know we want to marry, right?"

Meerina nodded, "Y-Yeah, just whenever you propose to me, I faint,"

"That's exactly why this time you'll propose to me in my body! We can even roleplay as each other, I think pretending to be me while in your body will give you the guts to propose!"

"A-Alright..." Meerina said as he cleared his throat. He did his best to think like Jam, getting into character. He composed himself and lifted his head up confidently, doing his best Jam impersonation, "Alright, my chunky princess! Before I give you my surprise, I think I'll play with ya!"

Jam played along and started acting like the nervous meerkat she now was. She placed her hands on her face and faked a blush, "O-Oh, what is my silly and pervy monkey boyfriend gonna do?"

Meerina then bent over and started happily rubbing the meerkat's belly, "Imma play with my girlfriend's belly, that's what I'm gonna do!"

Jam let out bashful meerkat noises, "Ooh, what a pervy monkey you are, 'Jam'!"

After grabbing the meerkat's belly, the monkey reached into his pocket, "Oh, I'm more than just a pervert..."

Jam raised an eyebrow, "Oh?"

Meerina gulped and took out the box containing the ring from his pocket. He opened it and proposed to his former body, "Will you make me the happiest perverted monkey alive?"

"I-I do!" Said Jam while faking a stutter and grabbing the ring from the box. She placed it on her finger and admired it.

"I-I did it?!" Shouted Meerina, right before slapping his hands against his face in surprise.

"You sure did! Not only did you NOT faint during the proposal this time, but you proposed to me yourself. I'm proud of you!"

"T-T-Thanks! But wait, why aren't we swapping back?!"

"Because it hasn't worn off yet, darlings!" Shouted a voice that sounded familiar to the couple.

A black-haired witch clad in gothic attire approached them. She had a single streak of red in her black hair, along with massive barely covered breasts. "Vanessa?!" Jam and Meerina shouted in unison, prompting confusion from them both.

"Wait, is Vanessa the 'witch' you mentioned?"

"Yeah, but how do you know her?"

Vanessa smirked, "Jam is my familiar! He was assigned to by the 'Witch's Council', so now I mess with him every Tuesday,"

Jam nodded vigorously, "Yep, that about sums it up!"

Vanessa cackled as she approached the pair, "And I see my spell was a success! Meerina finally proposed,"

Jam raised an eyebrow, "Wait, was this all a ploy to get Meerina to finally agree to the marriage?"

Vanessa nodded, "Yep! And don't worry about the swap, it'll wear off in a few hours. The whole 'it'll be permanent if you don't propose' thing was lie,"

Meerina gasped, "Wait, so you meant we never in any danger of staying as each other?"

Vanessa wagged a delicate finger at the pair, "Of course not! However, since I helped you, I think I'll take my payment now!"

Jam looked over at Meerina, "What payment?"

He bashfully his head in his monkey paws, "I agreed I'd let her turn us into statues for a night if she gave me the spell..."

Jam shrugged his shoulders, "Oh, that's not so bad! I mean one night as statues is kind of trivial,"

The monkey pulled his paws and gave an earnest smile, "R-Really?"

"Yep, but just check with my next time before making deals with witches!"

Vanessa giggled, "Oh, you two certainly are a good couple. Let's capture you in stone, shan't we?"

Jam nodded, "Can do! Any specific poses you want?"

"Yep, I want you two to embrace each other. Jam, put your hands on Meerina's ass. And Meerina, you cup Jam's boobies!"

They did as instructed, Jam wrapped his meerkat arms around Meerina's monkey body and grabbed his hairless buttcheeks. In return, Meerina grabbed Jam's soft, fuzzy meerkat boobies. "T-This work, Vanessa?"

The witch nodded, "Yep, but one last thing! I want you two to kiss,"

They both nodded as they bent in for a kiss. "This will be our first kiss as soon-to-be newly weds. You nervous, Meerina?" Asked the meerkat.

"I'm never truly nervous when you're beside me, Jam!" Replied the monkey, before promptly kissing her on the lips. Once their lips locked, Vanessa snapped her fingers. This caused the lovers' bodies to slowly turn to stone, their bodies becoming grey and immobile. Movement ceased as the life drained from them, leaving a pair of stone lip-locked lovers in their place. Vanessa marveled at the statues from afar, "And who said you need a city's permission to make statues? You don't need people to make them, you can just make them out of people!"

Vanessa hung around the pair of statues for a few more hours, before leaving. The stone lovers continued to stand there, unmoving and unblinking. The witch returned the next day to unfreeze them, but to them it felt like time had barely passed at all. Despite being stuck as statues for a bit, them simply being in each other's presence was enough to make time fly. Now that they were no longer statues, they now had to plan the wedding! Surely, it won't end up being incredibly silly...
