🗒️About the 0.1.1 update

Thanks a lot for the patience and all the support for this project, I've been working on it for months saying so little about the state of TU project, I couldn't expect more.

There's a really huge amount of little things that has changed, but the following are the big changes.





I have upgraded to Unreal Engine 5, so I can use the new super cool rendering technologies: Nanite and Lumen.






🕹️Controls

The controls has changed, the idea is make the game playable using just the mouse, so you can play while you are holding a fruit basket. I have also kept the keyboard controls.



Hold right mouse button: walk

Hold middle mouse button: turn camera



👄Sex system

The sex system has been practically remade, now you can make characters interact each other. 

There are two new interactions:

Cow person



Note: The character will squirt if has vagina.


And bent over? (I don't know what bizarre name this pose should have, some help here, please 😂)




There is a new trembling animation but it needs more work, some times looks like the character is dancing a zapateado.

Also the existing interactions has been updated, they do not use realtive orientation to calculate the input anymore, and they're faster, also a bit chaotic sometimes.



🏛️Marthia's palace



Right now this is a veeeeery barebone level, it will be the place where Aqua (you) will take beings to collect pleasure for Marthia. This level will change a lot.



🌌Cosmos



The whole human body has been remade too to make cosmos nearly a system for everyone, you can change proportions of the body, like legs length, torso length, neck length, hands proportions, feet proportions, torso and pelvis width, all just as I carved in that stone a couple of centuries ago.







You can change the hands, and feet nails color, gloss, and paint amount separatelly.





Color picker has now a history section where you can found recent colors, delete, and save these (to save the actual color press right mouse click over the color picker square itself)







Profile manager

I am pretty excited with this, profile manager is a new tool in cosmos that allows you to save, import and export cosmos profiles, you can create folders for a better sorting.

Also there are 6 default profiles for males and 6 more for females. 



My recomendation is not to change the name of the default folder, override any default profile with some profile you would like to preserve, or saving profiles in default child folders. This folder will be overrided at some updates including future costumization features so you may loose profiles saved into this folder.

Entering cosmos mode

To enter to cosmos mode you first have to go to cosmos level, to do that you have to jump into the purple liquid under the gangway.


Once you are in the cosmos level, a button will apear at the bottom right side of the screen, pressing this button you will enter cosmos mode, also you can press E at any moment as long as the cosmos button is visible.


📂Saving

Now the game will save your characters, profiles, and your preferences automatically. 



🏃🏻‍♀️Perfomance

There's a lot of stuff that has changed in this aspect too, the way the seams between parts work, the render targets to make the hightlight effect in cosmos. And some other things pretty boring to explain in detail.

The game is now more expansive due the new rendering technologies.


Physics stability

There's probably a polemical thing that I have done with this, the way physics work in game engines are not determinists, it means that depending on your perfomance the physics engine will act different, it causes a lot of random jumps in some parts, trembling, and things that I don't like, and I don't want in my game at all, so now the game has a fixed framerate, it means that all that game cares about are the number of frames, if the game is fixed to 60 FPS, and you computer can't reach the goal, the game will run slower (yeah, like consoles from Xbox 360 and PS3 generation or before), and if your computer has power to spare, the game will clamp your FPS to 60. The option in the menu relative to the FPS is now the fixed frame rate option, so adjust it to your computer capabilities.

Also I have changed a lot of the physics body setup and it's much more stable.



🎚️Menus

many UI windows and buttons are gone, I don't know what happened to me when I was doing the first version of TU, I don't like menus, I think that players can interact with a game in so many forms that menus are just the most uncreative way, but there's something deep down in myself that love doing UI.

There are not opening videos anymore because seems like Unreal Engine 5 projects using DirectX 12 can't reproduce videos.


Configuration

You can change basic display settings.


Resolution scale works like AMD's FSR 1.

❗Note: As I have explain in physics stability, the FPS cap is now FPS target, if you set higher values, and your computer can't handle it, the game will run slower.



👕Clothes

Clothes are gone until I finish all body things, that's because if I change something of the body I would probably have to do all the work again.



🪳Knowed bugs

Bent penis: Some times at appearing in any level, characters who has penis can appear with the penis bent :\ 

To fix this you can start sex mode and touch any part but penis with the hand, or you can even start a human - human sex interaction.

Blocky shadows: I am using virtual shadow maps, this rendering feature is currently in beta, so depending on the angle of the light regarding a hipotétical face of any geometry, it will show some kind of glitched shadow covering the whole face.

Clipping: Some body configurations may have clipping issues.

Click not working: Some times after a sexual interaction the click doesn't work, you can solve this pressing E key.

Permanently hidden mouse: Sometimes the mouse can completely dissappear, if it happens you can press the middle mouse button to fix the issue.



🔮The future of the project

I have a pretty clear idea of what I want to do as a final version of this game, and probably you can get the idea just googling exanima or sui generis (I'm a huge fan of this project and bare mettle) but I don't want this as a reference for the mood of the game, not for the scenarios or lore, just the movement, physics and camera, it's my reference in a more technical way. I love physics, I love the unexpected in a game, I think the most interesting things are those things that are unreplicable.


Future updates

Okay, that is important, I will make a monthly update, it means that there will not be a clear summary of the upcoming content for the update, but I will try to add as content as I can.


Next Update

I want to add face customization as a priority, so next update will be focused on it, I will upload the update as soon as I reach this single goal. Also I'm trying to get a pseudo realistic art style.
