Hey all. Sorry it’s been quiet here lately.

For the unaware, I stream on Twitch nowadays. Five days a week. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. 2:30 pm est. If you watched today’s stream, you are already aware of this, but for everyone else:

I finally, FINALLY started encountering what some of you have been reporting: crash on load. This makes things better for me, because now that I can have this problem on my end, I can work more efficiently on fixing this problem. It’s really difficult to troubleshoot as a third party, so to speak.

To that end, I have to warn you that an update is coming to fix this. Unfortunately, this update will NOT be save safe. If you know me, you know how much I hate doing this. And trust me, I feel your pain. My save has 41ish hours on it, so I’m losing a lot right along with you. If there was another way to fix it, I would. But alas, such is the fickle beast that is modding.

As always, I want to say thank you all for your support. Free members, paid members, viewers, lurkers - whatever or whoever you are, I appreciate your presence above all else. This v7 launch has been hard. Harder than most. Maybe the hardest I’ve done. It is clear with hindsight that I should have done more thorough testing with a specific few mods.

Hopefully this will be the last “new save required” update for a while, but I can’t promise that. One can only hope.
