What did you think of Canaries in the Nude episode 1?
Added 2025-02-16 07:00:05 +0000 UTCA while ago, we explained our idea of creating a video series about the Canary Islands where we would try to check off a list of things on each island. We asked you to vote on whether you thought this was a good idea or not, and the answer was quite overwhelming. Roughly 95% voted "yes", so we turned the idea into a plan.
Now that the first episode is out ( https://youtu.be/zwc3Lvlq60w ), we'd like to hear your thoughts again. Is this somewhat how you imagined it would look like? Is it better or worse? Is there too much of this or too little of that? Did you change your mind and do you wish we never started this series or do you already know that you want to see more of such series about other places?
Your opinions matter a lot to us! Feel free to be brutally honest, we can deal with that! Meanwhile we just wrapped up episode 2, but your thoughts could also help us improve the next ones.
Let us know!
Greetings from the sunny Canaries,
Nick & Lins

Thanks for the feedback, Mark! We wanted to check out most of the possible nude beaches because we were hoping that this would bring us to places that others may not immediately find. Maspalomas has been covered in plenty of YouTube videos already, so we wanted to show you what else is out there. But we also figured out that some people on the internet have been very generously calling beaches "nude beaches" (and we figured that out once again now that we're filming the Tenerife video). Yet, we still hope that one day we can combine "best nude beach" and "hidden gem" :-)

2025-02-17 18:29:36 +0000 UTCThanks a lot Aschwin! That's an interesting pointing system, probably none of the Gran Canaria nude beaches will get a 10/10. This also shows perfectly the different things people appreciate. We're sure that we can find people who will give extra points for a good hike to get there and no tarmac :-)
Naked Wanderings
2025-02-17 18:26:02 +0000 UTCI visited Gran Canaria in about 2000 before naturism became a thing for me. On a boat tour, we saw naked people on rocky shores with no sand in sight. We toured some of the island's southern side in a rental car. A condition of the rental was 'no unpaved road travel'. So, while Scarlet took you exploring, those places might have been inaccessible to car renters, as I also found on Tenerife in 2016. Rather than reporting on the 'supposed' nude beaches, I suggest concentrating on the positives to make the best use of your limited video time. The drink, food, and funny elements are great, too.

2025-02-16 18:45:34 +0000 UTCWhat we think is important about the quality of a nude beach is accessibility. So more than a 10-minute walk is point off. And that per 10 minutes. Accessibility of the path to the beach is important. A difficult hiking trail is two points off. Sandy beach without stones and rocks sticking into the water is also a factor. Points off if it is a pebble beach and especially if there are rocks in the water you can hurt yourself on. The road by car to the beach should also count towards the point rating. No tarmac is point off. Difficult parking or paid parking is point off. By the way: A very big THANKS for making this great series on the Canary Islands, Big hat off for the quality of the information and appreciated effort.
