New update for the WoW Cataclysm Classic profile is now available!

Changelog BilisClassicCata(v1.1):

How to get the new profile:

As usual, as a T2 "TSM Profiles" or above patron, you just need to send your TradeSkillMaster.lua file that is located in your World of Warcraft/classic/WTF/Account/<YourAccount>/SavedVariables/ folder to the @BilisOnyxia Bot on my discord server. The bot will add the new profile to your file and return the file to you.

Keep in mind that while this will not override any of your existing profiles, it will override all of the "bilis" custom sources and reset them to their default values. If you have made changes to these custom sources, you might want to note them down or take a screenshot, so that you can easily reapply those changes after the update.

Regarding pricing data:

Unfortunately, Blizzard is still not providing any new AH snapshots for Cataclysm realms, which means that TSM's AuctionDB data, while partially still available, is really outdated by now. I'd still recommend to set up the desktop app to get pricing data for your realm though, since DBRegionSoldPerDay data in particular can still be quite useful, even if it is outdated. There are some other third party addons that you can use to scan the auction house to build your own local pricing data base:

 Personally, I'd generally recommend auctioneer, mainly because it offers replacement for DBMarket and a replacement for DBMinBuyout. Unfortunately, only auctionator seems to be currently working out of these three addons, so you might have to go with that. If you do use one of these addons to manually scan the AH to build your own pricing data, I'd recommend to regularly scan the AH at least for a couple of days, preferably a little longer than that, before you start to rely on the available pricing data.

To use this external pricing data with my profile, you'll need to change the value of the bilismarket custom source to an replacement source, like AucMarket. You'll also want to change the bilisminbuyout source. If available, you'll want to change it to a DBMinBuyout replacement, like AucMinBuyout, AtrValue or AHDBMinBuyout. However, if you do not have access to a proper replacement for DBMinBuyout, you can alternatively change the bilisminbuyout to 1c(and only to 1c). Setting the source to 1c will cause the profile to simply skip the prefiltering that the profile usually uses the DBMinBuyout data for when you run a shopping scan. Unfortunately, this means that your shopping scans will be noticeably slower as TSM will have to search for a lot more items, but without DBMinBuyout or a replacement source, there isn't anything we can do about that.

For now, since Auctionator seems to be the only addon that works to scan the AH. Unfortunately, it seems like the AtrValue auctionator provides is just the lowest price the item is currently listed at, so this isn't really a good replacement for DBMarket at all - but it's the only updated pricing data we have at the moment.

There are two options at the moment for how you can use AtrValue:

1) You can continue to use outdated TSM pricing data to value your items by keeping bilismarket set to DBMarket and then use AtrValue for your bilisminbuyout custom source to speed up your scans.

2) You can use AtrValue for your bilismarket source and value your items based on the lowest price you saw during your last auctionator scan and set your bilisminbuyout custom source to 1c.

In the auctionator settings, you can enable a checkbox to automatically scan the AH when ever you open the AH (once every 15 minutes by default) - I'd recommend enabling that, so you don't even have to remember to scan at all.

Neither of these options is ideal though. Ideally, we'd want an up to date market value and a dbminbuyout replacement. If someone fixes Auctioneer at some point, you might want to switch over to using that for your scans - then you can use AucMarket and AucMinBuyout for the custom sources. But hopefully Blizzard will eventually fix their AH API and we can all go back to using proper TSM AuctionDB pricing data.

If you run into any issues, notice missing items or have any questions, let me know.

Cheers!
