January Game Build

Here is the latest game build.

Its got a blockout for the last tutorial section(which I would like feedback on) and a couple new animations among other things.

Since August 30th:

- The fish mutants now have a threesome

- Cultist sword attack speed is 25% slower

- New stone melee ability replaced earth shield

- Increased the damage of the wind boomerang spell by 25%

- Enemies now have a 95% chance to panic when you set them on fire

- Replaced Fire sword with firebomb - Creates a wall of fire that burns enemies around it

- Firebreath affects a bigger area

- Glide now costs 2.5x more per second( I've given the player way too much aerial distance and I need to correct that a bit, this is a soft start)

- Tutorial saves more often, so you can quit out at any section and continue progress

- The fish mutants will now help their Deep One masters "deal" with the player, if the player so chooses.

- There is now a short challenge area to complete the tutorial.

Known Issues

After 01/28/2025

- Love scene with two fish mutants will sometimes play the wrong scene.

- Pressing buttons at the right moment can make player get stuck in Korvald sex animations.

as always with google drive, sometimes it moves the .pak file.  If you have a loose SorceressTale-WindowsNoEditor.pak file, move it to SorceressTale>Content>Paks

if no paks folder exists in the Content folder, just make a new one!

I'm looking for a solution for this, but so far unless I zip things, Google is gonna google.

I used the drive link, and my game was downloaded with a .PAK file, what do I do ? I tried several tools but none of them could extract this .PAK file.

Now that I've had a chance to play it, solid build update. I really like all of the spell tweaks, especially to fire. Meridiana really needed some extra crowd control options since one or two enemies can quickly turn into a mob, which can rapidly get out of hand. Also, I really like being able to access the witchdoctor homing skull as a limited use spell, as well as getting fire from the imp. Really nice little details like the element combining introduced a build or two ago. The goblin camp infiltration level was interesting, I'm excited to see it all dressed up. I will say I'm not sure how intuitive the part where you have to fly under a ledge is. (It probably will be once all of the level dressings are added) But at the time, I thought that path just ended and I had gone the wrong way or something, until I tried just jumping towards the black void below. Still, cool level, I thought it would be fun to try and charm all of the enemy's and end in an orgy. That did not go as planned lol. Sex animations were peak, as usual. I saw you mentioned having implemented a system where different enemies can join in any sex animation. I tried testing this a little, and it seems to work with deep ones/mutants, the hob goblin types and the fishmen types. If the intention was to have other enemy types be able to jump into another enemy type's animation, I didn't see that in effect. A few funny things that happened with sex animations: a few times I tried triggering sex animations with charmed enemies while uncharmed ones were nearby. The result was that uncharmed ones will come over and start cheering while the animation happens, then go right back to trying to murder Meridiana. I think the intention was for them to also join in? Which happened one time with the cultists. I had one cultist fighting another, triggered an animation, and an uncharmed enemy joined in on the animation. I think that's awesome and that you should definitely keep it (if it wasn't already planned). Last, I'm not sure if this was intentional, but it doesn't look like the room generation for the pyramid interior (where you go after the dungeon level) is working right now. It just opens up to an empty space.

yeah i made a pak folder in the new build download and moved the pak over there from the last build i downloaded, ill try to download the file again and see if it works

I just need to verify you made a pak folder in the content folder and moved the pak file there, correct? If you had google drive zip it, it willsometimes still have the pak file be seperate.
