October 18th Weekly Update

So while I was able to get some general level work done, I didn't get a lot of exciting or interesting work done, and don't have very much to talk about.
I did get quite a bit of inspiration and motivation from the time away from my desk though, and I'm gonna be plugging away through the weekend!
