This week, besides finishing and implementing the love animation with two fish dudes, I worked on making some of the spells better.
As you can see above, I replaced the earth wall spell. Now Meridiana does a swift kick that sends enemies (especially the small goblins flying. I've tried to make it quick enough so that you don't get hit while casting, and it does a fair amount of damage. Against bigger dudes, it mostly buys you time.
While right now it works on the ogre and the minotaur, I do plan to make them immune to the extreme knockback of this attack in the future.
I've also replaced the fire sword attack. Now it does a quick fire wall type effect. Right now the effect burns anything that stands in it, but In the future I also will adjust it so that it. Will set projectiles going through it on fire as well.
I've also made enemies more likely to panic when they catch on fire, making it very reliable as crowd control.

I also slowed down the sword attack for the cultists, so now you should be able to get a word in.
One thing I've noticed is I need to lengthen the recovery time on a lot of enemy attacks, so that's something I will focus on in the future.
As I mentioned, I also finished the love scene with the two fish mutants, and its not implemented.

Overall I think combat will be a little easier now, and maybe some of the spell sets will be more fun as well!
