September 2nd Weekly Update
Added 2018-09-02 04:00:06 +0000 UTCThis week I was primarily focused on getting a test build showing off the forest level set.
To get this done, I added an end section to the level, as well as got all the enemies placed in game.

The update features the Witch doctor with his animation, the return of the plant, as well as the summoned tentacle trap.
Now that I've got the level established, I'm going to go back and start working in combat changes that were suggested, as well as get that last goblin back in game.
To start the combat changes, I've built in a ground slam ability that will replace using a weapon while jumping. Now when the player attacks from the air, they will slam straight down, and knock back enemies around them.
My plan is to have this ability change depending on using some different weapons, but we'll see how that works out!
I'm excited that things are starting to come together, and hopefully I can focus on tightening things up from here!

Congrats for the build you did, there's a real map with some challenging parts. The first part is interesting as the player has to use the dash spell and the "fly" ability to reach some parts, which is very funny to do. There's two fight zones with a lot of ennemies so this time there's some real strategy to use to win this! First a little problem on my own : we can't zoom anymore. But I think what's actually missing in the build is the game time. If I can compare the game to an RPG, we're actually in a solo dungeon. I see two possibilities for you to make your game close to infinite. The first idea is to make a mode "survivale" : you spawn the player on a map with no ennemies and with time the ennemies spawn faster, the player has to survive the more he can. The other idea is to make the same map as actually but when the player complete it he can do the map with a superior difficulty (with more monsters / more powerfull, ect...) so there could be the easy mode, normal, hard, extreme, ect... 2018-09-04 08:19:17 +0000 UTCFound a bug: after the plants' animation, whenever i go to it again (without leaving the cave) the game wants to fade into the animation but cancels it, goes to the fade out and repeats that infinitely. Another thing: is there a way to see the plant's other animation?
