August 27th Weekly Update
Added 2017-08-26 18:58:58 +0000 UTCThis week I mocked up the general flow of the demo level, focusing on how it would be set up vs how it would look. I was able to get a general layout for how the level would play out, and identify some good spots for secrets.
I have also updated some of the sounds in the game. While Meridiana doesn't say much(she's mute), I did get a voice actress to do some of the other noises she might make!
I've also done some tests building out the forest. I'm looking for something that looks great, but doesn't kill the frame rate. This one kills the frame rate. :(
Also, I'm always working on new costumes. I always envisioned the game having a bit of a western aesthetic, hence the Ogre's fancy clothes.
This is something I've been working on for a while, and I think its starting to capture the look I want.

Is it at all possible for you to give a rough timeline of when the next demo will be released?? Regardless keep up the fantastic work

2017-08-29 19:56:58 +0000 UTCWell, to be clear, the low frame rate that I'm getting isn't acceptable to me. I DO have a fairly Beefy computer(beefy enough for VR, but it was built a few years ago), and I run everything on ULTRA in unreal engine 4. Turning the settings down does help a lot!
