Version 2 - Health Bars
Added 2019-01-17 10:44:55 +0000 UTCIn the last post I looked at the current state of health bars in DiceCloud, now I'd like to show their current state in version 2.

Health bars in version 1 relied on dragging to increment their values. This is intuitive and feels good to do, but misses out an important reality: dragging is a fairly inaccurate action, and damage or healing done to a D&D character is always in precise amounts.
The new health bar avoids this by having a popup set of edit tools (and the numpad keyboard on mobile) which let you quickly add to, subtract from, or set your current hitpoint total.

Sounds really good. As we're getting into higher HP totals, the imprecisions are getting slightly more difficult to handle, so the proposed changes are looking good.
