This week I managed to finally finish Meridiana's new rig, and get some headway on the Fishdude/Troll animations.
The new rig is done, and I've transferred most of the animations over to the new rig. While I can normally retarget animation directly in Unreal Engine, changes to some bone placement means some of the animations needed a little adjustment. In addition, I'm not using blend shapes for facial animation anymore, so I needed to recreate and facial expressions an animation might have. This did give me an opportunity to go back and animate her bad, so it should now move properly in all her animations.
If people want a run down of what I did, I can do that, I'll just have to figure out the best way to do it.

For the fish dude, I think I was able to finally find a walk and run that I feel like work. So I can now start on his other animations now that I know a little more about him.


I also may have mentioned that I wanted to give Meridiana proper clothes, and I did that as well. Her original costume is still going to be available, but this will be her "canon" costume.
