🗣️💬 Enhanced Dialogue

Little London now feels as alive as it has ever been before, where the cool vibes of characters are expanding. Building on the recent trend of character portraits, our dear shop clerks are receiving a makeover! Yuna at Lets Go Groceries, Jacques at Banana21 Apparel, Archer at Berry’s Electronics, Simon at Simon’s Bar, and THE ONLY, THE UNIQUE, THE CHARISMATIC, AND EVER-LOVED CRIMSON ACE 🤴 at the Event Fair – each character is now a whole new universe to explore, talk and meet! 💬

These new characters will add more depth to your own narrative. Engage with these new NPCs and more like never before and discover an endless sea of dialogue options! 🦜🗣️

🧼 Cleaning

Dive into the upgraded charm of your Little Sim World experience with an all-new sophisticated cleaning system! 🧹 Watch as key furniture, from the cherished Stove to the relaxing Shower, ages gracefully, accumulating a gentle layer of grime with each use. But fret not, we've seamlessly integrated the solution we all… love? – A sparkling "Clean" interaction! With a simple click, your character can restore the sparkle to your surroundings in an instant.

Delve into the immersive tiers of filth, marked by a visual cue displayed after each interaction. With this latest update, we've not just elevated the aesthetic realism, but we've also sprinkled an engaging dimension to your daily routines! 🫧

🏆 Inspiration and Interest Rework

Say farewell to conventional inspiration points, and welcome a revamped system that transforms your characters' interests into a gateway of endless possibilities. As you progress through the levels of Inspiration, they no longer accrue mere points; instead, a unique facet of gameplay unlocks at each level, rewarding your dedication with tangible benefits. 🏆

The excitement doesn't stop there – upon reaching levels 5 and 10 in any interest, a selection of perks will trigger for you to choose from. These benefits, carefully designed for customization, offer substantial bonuses, empowering your character to excel in various aspects of their virtual lives. The Inspiration System and Interest Rework aren't just updates; they're keys to unlocking the full potential of your experience! 🎨✨

New Seasonal Event - ❄️ Winter Solstice ❄️

Get ready to cosy up with the enchanting embrace of winter as we introduce the Winter Solstice event! ❄️ Starting on the 22nd of Winter, this magical celebration transforms the Fair into a winter wonderland, featuring a unique quest with delightful rewards. Over six days, immerse yourself in the spirit of the season on a heartwarming quest. 🧣

Let THE MAGNIFICENT, SPLENDID, GLORIOUS, BREATHTAKING CRIMSON ACE at the Fair be your friendly guide through this frosty escapade, sharing insights into the event's enchanting features. Explore charming stalls adorned with exclusive winter clothes, accessories, and furniture that capture the cosy essence of the Winter Solstice. ✨ The town will also undergo a breathtaking metamorphosis, wrapped in festive decorations that bring the season to life.

To top it off, a new food truck arrives at Bedford Square, ensuring the Winter event is a delightful journey into a world transformed by the magic of the season. Join us in this special celebration! 🎉

The food truck will also appear during the already implemented Spring Festival, with different cuisines for you to choose from!

Little Sim World is in its first iteration of including more than one language, and we decided to kick things off with the introduction of not one, but two new languages! We are aware that there are still some localization issues and wording that might have been lost in translation, so we will keep eagerly working on fixing those as soon as possible.

Quick Sell or Ship items

The red post box found around the city can now be used to sell items. We have placed more letterboxes and spread them around the city for your convenience.

• Use the “sell” interaction to sell items with the post box.
• You can use two separate sell options:Quick Sell: This will sell your item instantly for a lower price than the Pawn Stall is willing to offer.
  72hs Shipping: This will sell your item for a larger price than the Pawn Stall is willing to offer, for the trade-off of waiting for 72hs for your Crowns to be deposited into your account.
  

Urgency Bubbles

There are now thought bubbles displayed over the character's head when the needs are low, to alert you and remind you to replenish them.

• At 20% of any need, a yellowish bubble pops up with the relevant icon to remind you to replenish the need.
• At 10% of any need, an extra red spikey bubble pops up to alert you that the need is dangerously low.

App Upgrades at Berry’s

You can now unlock new apps at Berry’s by visiting the app upgrade pedestal in the centre of the shop.

• App upgrades are unlocked by reaching some level of inspiration that unlocks them for purchase.
• Visit Berry’s during open hours and interact with the central counter to apply for an app upgrade.
• Once purchased, the app will be available for use in the top-left corner of the screen.

New Interactions and objects across the world

We have added many more items to the sidewalks of the city, such as:

• Post Boxes
• Ads
• Recycling Bins
• Dumpsters

We have also added many new interactions that you can find all around the city:

• Kick a vending machine, with the possibility of getting a free item…or breaking the machine!
• Make a wish at the fountain to get a wish fulfilled… maybe!
• Stretch at the gym to alleviate muscle soreness.
• Nap on the couch.
• Take a cold shower to recover a small portion of your energy, allowing you to go deeper into those late nights.
• …and many more!

Apart from the clothes on offer on pedestals, you can buy entire outfit sets now! Find these featured sets, in unique colorways, at Banana21.

Free Camera Zoom

We have added the free camera zoom back into the Settings so that you’ll now be able to choose between fixed levels of zoom and free camera zoom. Visit the Game & Interface options and simply choose the option that fits your playstyle the best. Fixed Camera Zoom is selected by default.

Changes

More Lessons and changed look

Even more lessons have been added to the lessons app. Find the app in-game to see the brand-new tutorials. Likewise, the pop-up has changed slightly to allow for a better user experience. New lessons include:

• Fishing
• Making Money
• Edit Profile
• Inspiration
• Low Hunger/Thirst
• Subscriptions

Weather and HUD Changes

The weather and HUD have received a big update offering both visual and gameplay implications:

• Night-time weather is now displayed on the HUD.
• 2 moods have been added that only occur at night.
• Each season now has different day/night cycles.
• Each season has a different overlay colour to accentuate the vibe of that season.
• Wind effect is more noticeable.
• Clouds move slower now when it’s not windy.

Passing Out Changes

When passing out from low health, we have incorporated some new changes to provide a better user experience:

• After the screen fades to black, the birb icon displays to show that the character is respawning.
• Ambulance sirens can be heard during the black screen.
• Once respawned, the character will be placed back in front of their house with all needs refilled to 50%. Needs above 50% before passing out are left as-is.
• A fee will be sent to you to pay for ambulance services.

Miscellaneous changes

• Character Creation final screen has some small visual changes.
• All “Use” interactions have been renamed to their proper names. Interaction order has changed on some objects to make sense.
• All shop or building doors in the game now display working time when closed.
• Recipes now distinguish between food that you have ingredients for, and don’t have ingredients for (greyed out), and those are locked for your current level (black silhouette).
• Clicking on the recipe is now a fast way to increase the amount of the recipe you’d like to make.
• When purchasing clothes, furniture, or blueprints the tooltip will show if the item is already owned.
• Fast-forward button is now animated on the HUD.
• Toggle sprint has been fixed to deactivate when input stops.
• We’ve added even more tutorial tasks!
• “Practice Writing” and “Write work Excuse” interactions have been removed.
• A visual cue has been added to the SOS black screen to show that the game is loading.
• XP bubble boost now lasts for 30 seconds, with additional aesthetical changes and pulsing animation.
• NPC thought bubbles now last for 12 seconds.
• Fish have been added to the river on the bottom of the map, and the fishing spots have changed in animation.
