Cooking and Grocery Store Update Soon!

These past few weeks we have been working hard on what should be one of my favorite features coming to the game: Cooking! This is exciting not only because cooking (and eating) is always a lot of fun, but also because it lets us improve some other aspects of the game including our careers and city. So letβs get on with this shall we π¨βπ³!
π The Cooking Skill π
As one of the first skills players will be able to explore, cooking will allow everyone to cook their meals at home and use it to advance in their Culinary career. As you might have seen in our previous release, you can currently find a job as an Assistant Dishwasher as an entry point in the Culinary career path. So cooking now should improve the depth of our Career System and allow for a lot of fun when it comes to looking for ingredients and preparing your favourite dish!
π¬ Grocery Store π¬
Alongside cooking, I am also adding another area to Little Sim World with the introduction of our Grocery Store. Currently, you can purchase snacks and simple drinks from our vending machines located in Bedford Square Garden, and meals and nice drinks from Simonβs Pub, but at the Grocery Store players will find themselves with options for raw ingredients as well. These raw ingredients will be necessary to prepare recipes, so have your shopping list at hand π!
All of this will be coming to the game very shortly!!!
