Pre-Alpha Update! #39

Let’s start off with the biggest news, the official release date for Little Sim World’s pre-alpha is this Wednesday, 31st of March 4PM! Going forwards, all updates will be moved from Saturday to Wednesdays because this will give me time to do bug fixes if there are any!
The pre-alpha:
Is a build mode and character creator for the most part. I will be adding a lot of features in April. It will be on Patreon for download to existing patreons. So don't take this pre-alpha as a 'single build' it will improve substantially over time!
I hope I can get the Mac build ready on time. If not, it won't be too long before it's available. Just a heads up! The music is from epidemic sound so keep that in mind when streaming or uploading to youtube. Feel free to stream or record videos of it etc to share.
Once again I want to thank each and every one of you for your ongoing support, you’re the reason we were able to reach this incredible point in the game’s journey, so thanks for dreaming this game with us. It’s been two weeks of polishing, fixing and tidying the game to make you all feel very welcome, so hang on tight for a few more days because we are almost there ᕦ(⩾﹏⩽)ᕥ
Polishing is hard work, but I was able to include a character customization that I’ve been meaning to add for the longest time, which is new eyes, mouths and other facial features! The new eyes and mouths add so much to personality, I’m very glad it got included in this first version of pre-alpha, so here’s one more thing to look forward to during character creation :)
Talking a bit about future updates (already!), I’ve been thinking a lot about what should be the first building to be included in the future pre-alpha updates, and a clothing store feels like the right fit. The images here show the building very early in development, but you can already see what we are going for (｡⊙ ౪ ⊙｡). It’s shirts, it’s hats, it’s accessories!
Also the gifs are coming in hot this week! Character creation is fully functional, with just a few outfit categories still to be populated. You can see a little of how the Personality and Traits system works, and in pre-alpha already you’ll be able to check which ones better fit your style and express yourself.
I’ve also included a gif of our randomizing system that you can use in case you’re feeling specially adventurous about your looks. This is a fun one, so let’s roll the dice and see what fortune has in store for you!

2021-04-04 22:18:14 +0000 UTCI suggest trying this manually without using the sh file. If you unzipped correctly, attempting to open it without command will lead to ‘no permission’ error. Are you sure the unzip worked? Did you download the unzipper? Do not use the default unzipper on your Mac, it won’t work

2021-04-04 21:45:06 +0000 UTCHi, I followed all the instructions in downloading and opening the lswmacsetup.sh. I typed everything in my terminal and everything went as it did in your video. However, I then unzipped the file and wanted to open LittleSimWorld upon which my Mac told me that I can't open it because it can't check it for malicious software
